Yeah well, what can you say when your unaware mate encounters you randomly in the woods with you being completely naked?

“WHY ARE YOU NAKED?!”
Oliver looked down at his dirt-smeared body, his cock completely out for anyone to see. He lifted his gaze, gave me a little smirk, and then shrugged. “Well… you caught me.”
“Caught you? […] Why don’t you have any clothes on?”
“You’d figure it out sooner or later,” he sighed. “I have a confession to make…” I braced myself mentally. “I’m a… a wer---…” He paused, gritting his teeth. “I’m a nudist.”

Yeah, good one, Olli. 😂

At this point Charlie is pretty much unaware of everything. That there are paranormal beings out there, like werewolfs and that he is the mate of one. Of course Oliver knows he has to come clean eventually. Sooner rather than later but this was obviously not the moment for him. *lol


But Charlie has a secret of his own. Ironically, he’s not aware of that one either. *lmao



The author is new to me and I had a good time with this book so I might check out other books in the series someday but for now I’m only picking up Mark’s book. This last one seems to be a fan service by the author ’cause everybody loved him so much in this one here. Me too.

I really hoped Oliver would have had more personality like the others but with all the stuttering it drove me crazy. I thought it was just with his mate, then he would start. Terrible, and you need to edit please, way to many sentences without needed words or the wrong word. I had to read many page’s twice.

This book shows stronger and better character development, as well as an interesting story line. The author is getting better in all ways with each new book. These characters become a part of your thinkink from book in these series. Kudos for the author and these 2 series of stories just keep getting better. Thanks 👍

Charlie is escaped but not without a few scars. Oliver onto a new job and it starting out with a bang! The dynamics of paranormal world with a life or death situation. The series follows three best friends that have their world tilted upside down. MM romance with a spice of magic

I didn't connect with this one as much as the first two. I love Oliver, but it easy to see he's putting on a bit of a front, but that wasn't really addressed. There was some drama with demon influenced dreams, but other things caused issues and then once the demon was gone he was all better...it just hit wrong with me.

The storyline is steeped in angst and self-doubt, and written mostly for the sexual connections. There was a bit of story plot, but not much character development to support it. Overall, just not what I expected from the preview.
