“…Recognized, in flashes, and with glory…” starts with the Flash stopping a stick-up by taking the gun out of the crooks hand.

While gloating, Flash is yanked back by Batman who asks him what he is doing in his town? Flash says he was saving a mugging victim, but Batman tells him he botched a police sting operation.

Flash says a string of computer-related crimes occurred in Central City and now he thinks they are starting again in Gotham. Batman tells him thanks but now go home. Flash says he’s here to help and that’s what he’s going to do.

Batman smiles. Robin face palms.

They partner for various crimes around town but typically Flash may ‘save the day’, but do so in an inefficient way.

With some research Robin finds out who recently moved from Central City to Gotham. Something Flash did as well, but came up empty.

They confront the kid hacker.

That was a nice little story. Batman teaches the hacker and the Flash a lesson about thinking of the consequences of your action. And there’s a cute nod to Crisis on Infinite Earths if I’m not mistaken. 4 stars

My kids laughed out loud with this issue. Here in the story the Flash shows up to Gotham. But he doesn’t get a welcoming he expected from Batman. I did not think it would be funny but it turned out that way as there’s the lesson about the importance of not just moving fast but thinking wisely fast. The Flash has something to learn from the Cape Crusader! Five out of Five, I would recommend.

I enjoyed three issues of Peterson’s run on Batman: Gotham Adventures. It’s Batman, but more for preteens and 13 year olds max probably. Although, I enjoyed them. Each issue kind of has a moral to it which gives the reader something to ponder about. In this one, Bruce challenges he Flash to not only be physically fast, but to think even faster. Thinking not just speed is important.
