Parthenon Studios regrets to inform viewers that The Olympians production schedule is on pause. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Olympia College has uninvited The Olympians from using campus facilities for filming. With the addition of four new Olympians, fans have been eagerly awaiting season two. Rumor has it, it is set to take place primarily where the Olympians are being isolated—in an abandoned property, deemed haunted and uninhabitable. And the creator of the hit show The Olympians promises this season will be chock-full of life-changing bombshells for these global superstars. What could these bombshells be? Fan theories center around the idea that the Olympians are all “something else.” Everyone has unanswered questions right now, and hopefully, season two will give some insight as to what’s really going on. Until then, viewers are encouraged to stay tuned, as there is always more to a story—and with ten Olympians and many more joining the cast, season two is sure to be one fans will want to binge for an eternity.
The Ambrosia Project series is based on the Greek Olympian gods and goddesses.
Hi, I'm Hallie! I like, and want, to do a lot of things, so I create lots of very different characters and live vicariously through them. I don't like having to stop what I'm reading and look up word definitions or pronunciations- I feel like it ruins the reading experience. Which is why, you'll likely notice, my books are easy to breeze through- because I truly believe that reading should be enjoyable, fun, and relaxing!
Have fun visiting Olympia College and meeting my chaotic little friends! We hope you'll stick around to see where Book 2 in The Ambrosia Project takes them!
I was so excited to get this arc after reading the first book! I love that there's a book 1 recap like "previously on..." it is so helpful. Zach being Zach 🙄 HJ is definitely one of my favourite characters and I really feel for her! I just want her to have what she deserves 😭 Love the new characters in this book, they're so interesting. Alexia's knowledge is incredible, the way she takes in information and figures things out? So cool, quickly becoming one of my favourites! So glad to have the drama back, I live for it 😁 It's giving Gossip Girl! That ending? I can't wait for more! Something big is happening and I'm so excited to find out what it is 😁 Hallie Parker you knocked it out of the park with this one!
I loved the recap at the beginning, it’s like on TV series, last time on… The story jumped a bit from the end of book 1. I honestly struggled to remember who everyone was and who their linked god was, so I was going back and forth. It was still enjoyable and I’m glad I read it.
I found this just as easy to read as the first book and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I really want to know what Fleur is up to and I guess I'll have to wait for book 3 to find out.
Thank you to Hallie Parker for allowing me to be an ARC reader for this installment.
"Kai was positive that, powers or none, cameras or not, she had always been a goddess to him. And he wouldn’t tell her at this moment because he didn’t want to ruin it, but he was certain with every fiber of his divine being that he was deeply in love with her."
This book focuses a lot more on the worldbuilding, mythology elements, and plot than it does on characters, which I liked and I feel like it makes sense since it's only book 2 of the series. We get a lot more into the different gods and goddesses and their abilities, but it still did leave a lot of questions to be answered in future books.
character standings
Zach (Zeus)- still sucks
HJ (Hera)- I felt so bad for her in this book. She is just going through so much and I am very worried about her. I have a feeling she will be a bit of a villain in the next book and I fully support it.
Damon (Hades)- I feel like we didn't see a lot of him in this book. He's being very quiet which makes me feel like he's hiding something and I want to know what it is.
Dawn (Hestia)- We barely see her at all, but she is off being a badass so I understand and will excuse it.
Kai (Poseidon)- He is still down bad for Amber, but is now sort of dating her so good for him.
Amber (Demeter)- We get to see a different side of Amber in this book. A lot of pressure has been taken off of her and she's finally finding her real identity. She also finally accepts her feelings for Kai, which is so adorable.
Alexia (Athena)- She's probably one of my favorites and is definitely the one we get to see the most of in this book. She's just such a badass and also has some really good one-liners.
Astrid (Aphrodite)- I don't know how to feel about her yet. I feel like she's hiding something and it feels a bit shady.
Gunner (Ares)- He's ok-ish. I don't really like him but sometimes he acts ok. He's just kind of an asshole.
Heath (Hephaestus)- He's another one of my favorite characters in this book. He's just so nice and chill.
It's hard to get a gauge on some of these characters because we don't get as much time with them as we did in the first book since there are more perspectives/characters added in this one. I know there will be more added in the other books in the series, and I'm interested to see how the author decides to organize/format them! (also please write them fast I need answers)
3.75 stars This was book #2 in the Ambrosia Project series. All of my fave characters were back, and a bunch were added! Their story picked up a bit further than where it left off in book 1, and the students now know they are reincarnated Greek Gods. The focus has now shifted from the reality tv show they were all a part of, to discovering who they all are, where their powers are hidden (in coffers), and what their powers might be, and their transition to becoming immortal. They have also been relocated to a very peculiar plantation mansion, that keeps mortals out. There's a ton of drama (think Greek mythology), and we get facetime with some great new characters. Kai is still my fave goofy character in this series, and his story as Poseidon doesn't see Amber in his future - or does it? I had so much more empathy for HJ in this one too. In the first book she was kind of a ditzy mean girl type, but in this book we really got to see her character deep down. There was a helpful recap as well as a New World Index that I would have been lost without. There were many many Olympians, Gods, Titans, Muses, and Heroes introduced in this book, and they all technically had 2 names (a current + their Greek name) which sometimes had my head spinning. This series is like nothing I've ever read, it's uniqueness really draws me in and I am so interested to see what comes next for this crew!
This book was even better than the first! I was so entertained the whole time! It felt like watching a reality tv show about Greek gods that I didn’t want to end!
Firstly I loved the storyline! It was so interesting to see our characters in a new setting uncovering more about who they were as Greek gods and their superpowers.
The characters in this series are also just such a great little dysfunctional family (I say that with love haha). The banter the all of them have is honestly top tier. It gave off some major Six of crow vibes which I loved!
I absolutely loved this book and was so sad when it ended. I am eagerly waiting for book 3!
Overall you will always catch me loving and thinking about this series. It is so so underrated and deserves way more hype on booksta / booktok! Do your girlie a service and go give this book series a try! The first book is called The Clandestine Dawning of the Gods.🤭⚡️
You have to read this book if you like: 🏠 a chaotic little found family (like in Six of crows) 🏛️ Greek mythology (but in modern times) ⚡️ Superpowers
Thank you so much to the author and Happily Booked PR for an arc of this book!🥹🫶
this book was a little better than the last one. i enjoyed reading about the new characters and how their all getting along together.
a lot happened tho. i felt like there were a lot of plot holes because i was very confused about what was happening for some of the time. like, damon and dawn basically disappeared. i was very sad cause they were my favorite characters in the first book. so did zach (which wasn’t that sad) and then gunner was a father but then that was never brought up again? i feel like hj’s struggles weren’t dove into enough, but she felt like a more relatable character and i actually appreciated her and felt for her. i loved seeing her connect more with the other olympians. also, they’d been at the plantation for a year but at the same time time is not mentioned at all? even though i was confused, i also was really sucked into the book. i read it in like 2 days. i loved their relationships with each other (for the most part) and how they all grew as characters. i still love amber and kai, but i started to like alexia and astrid more, and heath is so funny. don’t ask me about any other characters though, cause i can’t remember all the names lol.
3.5 stars

The second book in The Ambrosia Project has A LOT going on! While we only just found out at the end of the first book that our MCs were all inhabited by the souls of the Olympian Gods, this book explores that and a whole lot more!
Hidden away in an old mansion, they find out about who they are, immortality, how they will regain their powers and what the world expects from them! Not only that, there is a whole bunch of new characters introduced, including new Olympian gods, Titans, Muses, Major and Minor Gods, heroes and even some notable mortals from history. It's a lot to take in, including a trip to Mt Olympus, but it's such an intriguing story I had to keep reading to find out what happened next. Looking forward to the next book - hope it's not too far away.
The recap was super helpful at the beginning! The students now know they are reincarnated gods. This shifts from reality show to honestly who they are, and what they powers are. If you love the drama, this book is giving! I love the Greek mythology, but sometimes keeping up with all the names got a little confusing. This book isn't what I usually read, so it was a good suprise it hooked my attention. Cant wait for what book 3 brings!
What to expect: ✨ College students/reality tv stars/newly discovered Greek gods 🏛️ Portal fantasy ✨ Forced proximity 🏛️ Lots of secrets ✨ Global scale news surrounding the MC’s 🏛️ Greenhouse floor make out session ✨ A worldwide hunt to restore their superpowers 🏛️ A Pegasus flight and a fountain mermaid ✨ Red (olive) carpet event
Yay a sequel I could read right after a debut novel YAY that is one of my favorite things to do ever. I really did enjoy this book just as much as the first in the series. The only thing I struggled with was how many characters were introduced in passing and then referenced here and there throughout the rest of the book. It couldn’t really be avoided because of how many gods, titans, muses, heros, etc. there are in Greek Mythology but I felt like I kept seeing so many names that just got lost and when I’d see them again I’d have no idea how they fit into the story. So I j pretended I did know and kept moving and I had a great time!
First off, I love the "recap" sentence = Previously On... as this reminds me of a television show so I loved that we kept with the theme. My favorite character is Amber because she is finding out who she really is and letting her give into feelings that I felt she should have released eons ago! Her and Kai makes me just giggle especially Kai himself. I cannot wait to see what happens in book 3...to be continued.
Thank you to Hallie for allowing me to read this book prior to release. <3
"Untimely Revelation Of The Gods" was even better than the first! I was utterly entertained by this modern Greek mythology reality show — I didn't want it to end! The storyline was captivating, delving deeper into our favorite dysfunctional family of gods and their superpowers. The banter is top-tier, giving off major Six of Crows vibes. Seriously, this series is so underrated and deserves all the hype! If you love chaotic found families, modern Greek myths, and superpowers, you have to read this. I'm already eagerly awaiting book 3!
This was fascinating! I absolutely loved how everything developed and need more!
The characters are really engaging, each one in their own way; read this book to understand it. The written style and pace made it easy to follow and understand the story and follow everything.
The world is interesting too, and even more so to me as someone who studied and was interested in mythology.
Thank you so much @hallieparkerwrites and @happilybookedpr for giving me the chance of being an ARC.
2.75 - Book 2. And a little bit better. But I was again left wanting. It doesn't start off where it ends. Important information, for me, was grazed over. I was hoping to get a little bit more on how they became who they are.
While it is very unique, there is way too much being added without enough information being provided as to why. The "New World Index" helps, so keep it at the ready.
The Untimely Revelation of the Gods is book 2 in The Ambrosia Project.
I read book one first and IMO I think the story would make more since if you read them in order. This book continues the progression of the students AKA the Gods. I absolutely loved this book! If my kids didn't keep me busy I would've read it all at once! I think the author did a great job making the storyline both captivating and entertaining. I'm not big on mythology but this made me love it and want more! I can't wait to read more from this author!!
