Practical messages with amazing insights! This book contains six spoken messages given by this martyred Christian missionary before he left for the mission field in Ecuador. They were transcribed from a wire recorder, a forerunner of the magnetic tape recorder. The messages are as relevant today as when the messages were given. I didn't end up reading the whole book. I love the story of Jim and the missionaries with him trying to reach a dangerous people who had no idea who Jesus was. Their faith and determination are inspiring. But there was one sermon I quit because I just couldn't agree with his theological position and then the next sermon it was the same thing. I think I would just rather not dig that deeply and just enjoy their passion for the lost!
