And then, when it's time to go their separate ways, he makes an offer she can't refuse. It requires a move to his hometown...but what does she have to lose? She's starting from the bottom which means the only way forward is up.

Who doesn’t love a good snowed-in-together trope? Margot Rhodes may have been betrayed in the worst way, but she's worked hard to make a new life for herself. A life as an independent woman that doesn’t include a man. That doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy one spectacular night with a guy who's a guest at her aunt's lodge where Margot works. She'll never see again, right?

Except Mother Nature has other ideas, and Margot is now snowed in with all the guests, including Beau Gentry, the guy she planned to avoid. Instead he seems to be everywhere, teaming up with her in events the lodge owner has created to keep the guests entertained.

The last thing Beau is in search of is love. His life is full with his career and his kids. But there's something about Margot and he doesn’t want to let her go, which is why he invites her to go with him back home to Calamity Falls, WY.

But that's not the end of the story. These two mature adults both still have things to learn, and life throws some big lessons at them. There's plenty of uncertainty and angst as they find their way to forever. Charming, compelling, sentimental and heartwarming, you won’t want to miss this magical seasoned romance, just in time for the holidays.

5 Star Review All I Want For Christmas Is You (Calamity Falls #13) by Erika Kelly

I love stories set around the holiday season as Christmas is my favorite holiday. It’s a time for family and friends to come together and celebrate with one another. This was a wonderfully entertaining, well written story that certainly put me in the mood for the upcoming holiday season.

This was a wonderful read which ticked the boxes for me. I also love stories set in small towns and Erika Kelly brought Calamity Falls, Wyoming to life for me.

I really felt for Margot Rhodes, her ex betrayed her and she needs a new start.
Not wanting to spend Christmas alone she’s looking to bring a little fun to her life.

Hooking up with Beau she doesn’t expect to see him again but fate has plans for the two of them.

From the start, the connection between them was intense. Can they create a future together?

One click and find out.

Could have been a great sweet romance; recently divorced heroine meets handsome, nice older guy. But then there would be forced sexual adjacent comments or mental commentary that completely did not fit with the characters. Quit at 30%

Margot and Beau's story is one of those that gives you hope of finding love again, even when you no longer believe in it 🥹🎄

The two divorced people, with grown up children, believe that they are not made for love after going through problems in their marriages, everything changes when Margot decides to go away and ends up in the mountains at her aunt's inn to help her and also find the direction of his life, while Beau is at the same inn to spend time with his daughter before Christmas, since they met they feel an attraction, I can say that this was very instalove on their part, they talked for a few hours but between them it seemed like years.

Their relationship was fast, I didn't expect it that way, but for the story of these two, both past and future, it made a lot of sense, they are both mature adults who know what they want and for me it was perfect how everything fit together in the end.

A Christmas story, full of a little overcoming and made me believe that love takes time to come and with the right person.

Thanks to the author and Grey's Promotions for the e-arc in exchange for my honest review!!

I know that the Christmas season is literally starting, but this was a beautiful Christmas love story.

Margo is a very sweet heroine, who starts realising her life after her husband betrayed her in the worst possible way. When she is already rebuilding the pieces of her heart 8 months later, she meets Beau. He is in town visiting his daughter. The connection between them is instant. At first they didn't believe in the attraction, because they'd been burned from previous marriages and given up on love. Bit by bit, they start spending time with each other (thanks to a snow storm)...and fall in love.

I honestly loved Beau and Margo. Even though they were quite mature, their age was a bonus for me. They fit each other so perfectly and their love was inevitable. Maybe for some people it was quite rushed and instant, but love finds you in the strangest ways and I loved it.

The sex scenes were just perfect. The chemistry between them was off the chart. The scenes were hot, kinky and smuty 🥵🥵🥵 and I was there for it. None of them knew that they could feel that passion and that they were so compatible in bed. Everything happening between them on the love front was really good.

Overall, I am in love with Margo and Beau's story and can't wait to read some other books by Erika Kelly.

Margot and Beau are everything you didn’t know you needed to kick off this holiday season. You know him if you’ve read other books in this series, but you’re also okay if you haven’t because you won’t be lost. But I digress. He and Margot are both a little weary, scarred from their pasts, and absolutely not looking for love. But that’s the funny thing. Love doesn’t care if you’re looking for it when it finds you. The real question is whether it can last.

This one had me worried for a bit. If something feels too good to be true, it often is, but Beau and Margot aren’t young and dumb….they’re just sometimes a little mature and dense. Don’t worry, they figure it out, and in the best ways. I love how this second chance for adults who’ve both been there, done that, and the fact that triggers of arguments long since had get them both and then also force them both to stop and think about things made for an instant win in my book. And maybe a little petty cackle at the misery of karma for an ex….

All I Want for Christmas Is You by Erika Kelly.
I really enjoyed this story. I think I connected with the main character a lot there for truly loved it. You have to read this holiday story it is a sweet story of two people finding love later in life when they think they have already lost their chance at being loved and truly happy. Margot she is divorced and trying to start over after her husband’s betrayal. Beau's life is that of a divorced man who has his grown kids out of the house and is trying just to live life on his own again. He went through difficult circumstances throughout his marriage so he is starting over too on his own. They both end up in the same place and their chemistry is undeniable. Yes I’m sure for some people they have one heck of a fast meet and Shan they are together kinda thing but they are older and know what they want out of life and of it together. I truly enjoyed this book and I would definitely recommend.

Erica Kelly has done it again! I absolutely loved All I Want for Christmas is You it is an incredible small town mature couple love at first sight love story. It is the thirteenth book in her Calamity Falls series. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Erika Kelly showed that she is an amazing storyteller and is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. It was impossible to put All I Want for Christmas is You down and I loved every moment on every page. Who does not love hot sexy men, strong females, loving families, and friends, who always support one another? I love how Erika develops her characters in such a way that you fall in love with them and care about them much like a good friend. I love how Erika Kelly managed to create the "perfect" heroine, who is a strong, sassy woman on her own, to balance out the sexy, swoon worthy man. I really enjoy how the book is told from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. All I Want for Christmas is You is a love at first sight love story about a mature couple and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. My favorite moments are the ones that pull at my heartstrings that cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. All I Want for Christmas is You is filled with such moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a Erika Kelly love story, especially with the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. All I Want for Christmas is You is the story of Margot Rhodes, recently divorced artist, and Beau Gentry, an engineer and owner of Gentry Mining Corporation. Margot lost herself in her marriage and gave up her identity. She is the mother of two adult children. Beau felt like his ex-wife did not support him and wanted him to give up his legacy. Beau has three adult children including pop star Lorelei Calloway. Margot and Beau at Merry Falls Lodge, where Beau is in town visiting his daughter who is working on her master’s degree. Margot’s aunt Lucy is the proprietor of the Merry Falls Lodge, and gave Margot a soft place to land and to discover herself after her life imploded. Conversation between Margot and Beau flows so easily, I love that both Margot and Beau share secrets with one another that they have not shared with anyone before, especially the secrets they share regarding their failed marriages and how their former spouses made them feel about themselves. A snowstorm closes the roads and airports preventing Beau from getting home to Calamity Falls. As Margot and Beau spend time together being snowed in, things change between them, and they begin a romantic relationship. Beau invites Margot to return to Calamity Falls, move in with him and offers her a job managing a mall that he built and Margot agrees. A surprise plot twist changes things between Margot and Beau putting Beau’s mine at risk. Margot leaves Calamity and flies to Hawaii to help her daughter Emerson find her voice in her upcoming wedding. I loved that All I Want for Christmas is You is more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Margot and Beau are facing that need to be resolved. I love how the storylines get so beautifully resolved. I love everything that Beau does for Margot to convinces her to return to Calamity. I love the heart-to-heart conversations that Margot and Beau have with their children. I love the changes that both Margot and Beau make in their lives to have a life together. I love the ending of their love story and how both Margot and Beau change because of their love for one another. I love the bonus download that details what really happened in Lorelei’s life. My favorite part is the epilogue and that it happens almost two years later and that Margot’s dream for the mall is fulfilled with help from Beau and her new friends. I loved Beau’s proposal to Margot, and I loved the engagement ring. I love that the surprise that was revealed by Beau with Emerson’s help. I love Margot and Beau’s love story and the descriptions of the Calamity setting. I love the characters and the family dynamic in All I Want for Christmas is You, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoy all the interactions among the characters siblings, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. All I Want for Christmas is You is filled with the poignant and bittersweet moments as well as plot twists that I have come to love and expect in an Erika Kelly love story. Who does not love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed All I Want for Christmas is You , who does not love a mature couple finding a second chance at love. Highly recommend this incredible love story and am so looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Received an advanced copy from the author.

4.25stars—ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU is the thirteenth instalment in Erika Kelly’s contemporary, adult CALAMITY FALLS erotic, romance series. This is business owner/mine owner/assayer Beau Gentry, and Margot Rhodes’ story line. ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from dual omniscient third person perspectives (Margot and Beau) ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU follows in the aftermath of the break down of both Margot and Beau’s respective marriages. Approximately eight months earlier, Margot discovered her husband of twenty-seven years was having an affair, and wanted out of their marriage. Fast forward to present day, Margot, the mother of two grown adult children, is now living and working in Merry Falls. Margot will come face to face with miner Beau Gentry, a divorced father of three adult children, and the man with whom Margot will fall in love. In the days before the Christmas holidays, Beau will be spending time in Merry Falls with his youngest daughter Jessa, time in which he will come to know the local barista, and artisan Margot Rhodes but a snowstorm is about to ruin the plans for everyone including Margot and Beau, a snowstorm that is about to push together our story line couple. Not wanting to leave Margot behind, Beau offers Margot the chance at a new life, a new life that quickly reflects what was and what will never be. What ensues is rapidly building romance and relationship between Margot and Beau, and the potential fall-out as Margot struggles with her position in Beau’s life, a position that is all too familiar for a woman who is refusing to relive a difficult time from her past.

The world building focuses on the lives, loves, marriage and divorces of our story line couple. Both single parents of adult children, Beau and Margot’s children play a significant role in each of their lives but Beau is keeping secrets, and it is these secrets that force Margot to reconsider everything going forward.

The relationship between Margot and Beau is one of immediate attraction but Margot believes she is not ready for a second chance at love. In the days leading to Christmas, Beau begins a sublet seduction of our story line heroine, a seduction that pulls Margot into the lives of Beau, his children, and a business that will quickly spiral out of control. The $ex scenes are intimate, passionate and intense without the use of over the top sexually graphic language and text.

We are introduced to an eclectic cast of secondary and supporting characters: Margot’s ex Scott, and their children Owen and Emerson: Beau’s children Lorelei, Jessa and Colt, and Colt’s son Walker.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU is a story of second chances, of a sorts. A romantic, holiday tale of family, obligations, acceptance, forgiveness and love. The premise is captivating, entertaining and at times, heart breaking; the romance is seductive and flirtatious; the characters are dynamic, determined, lost but healing.

Beautiful, heartfelt, emotional

Erika Kelly, Christmas, romance ... what more could a girl want?

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU is a slow burn, heartfelt, emotional story involving two mature aged people who aren't looking for a relationship. It is a fun story with all the Christmas magic you could ask for.

Margot Rhodes was devastated when her husband, of over twenty years, dropped the bombshell that he was leaving her for someone else. With no income and a broken heart, she turns to the one person who could help her, Aunt Lucy, owner of Merry Fall Lodge. There Margot does odd jobs while trying to rebuild her online business and her self-confidence. Beau Gentry, owner of Gentry Gold Mine, is on vacation and staying at the lodge while visiting his youngest daughter who attends the local college. While at the lodge Beau notices Margot and can't take his eyes off her. How can a woman, who he doesn't know, affect him so quickly?

From their first meeting Margot and Beau have an instant attraction, but there's more than that, a need and desire to get to know more about each other. They're both experiencing emotions that are new to them whenever they're near each other, emotions that leave them shocked. While they initially just spend time slyly watching each other, Beau makes the first move, leading to an intense chemistry and two lives colliding and changing. Flings are not on Margot's radar and Beau respects her wishes, yet neither can they deny the pull between them. Being hurt in the past and having trust issues, both Margot and Beau slowly build a wonderful friendship, and when they finally take it to the next level their steam is undeniable. While their road to happiness has its difficulties, I loved that they were honest and supportive of each other.

I loved that Beau fell first and hard, he was just so sweet, especially when he acknowledged Margot's insecurities. Margot was such a strong woman, her determination had me cheering for her, she cared and loved deeply, often putting others before herself. I adored the relationships Beau and Margot had with their children; it was obvious family was important to both.

ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU was and wonderful story. All the emotions and experiences were portrayed with realism, I could feel everything, the joy, the sadness, the doubt, the insecurities, and the love. While there was no major drama or angst, there were moments when I thought "no, you can't do that." This was a real happy read, one that kept me constantly smiling.

A top read for 2023

This is the story of Beau and Margot who are parents to grown children and divorced. Margot’s divorce is more recent than Beau’s so she is a bit more raw but neither are in the mind set to meet anyone and have pretty much given up on romantic relationships. I LOVE how easy this was to read. You just couldn’t help but root so hard for them to figure things out!

They meet when Beau is on vacation visiting his daughter at college and Margot is working at her aunt’s inn while she recovers from her devastating divorce. They notice each other but don’t talk, yet they continue to look for one another around the inn. Beau’s daughter is a sweetie who wants her dad to find more in his life and is encouraging him to open up. I truly believe that her planting that seed is what opens his eyes and encourages him to take a chance. Right before Beau is set to leave he takes the chance to speak with her and things move forward from there.

As they innocently chat over coffee one day their arms brush and the jolt that each receives is shocking. They just can’t understand why they’ve never felt something like this before. As they get to know each other and their relationship deepens, they fight their lust as Margot states that she’s not a fling type of gal. Beau respects her choice yet they ultimately give in because they just can’t help it. Just as their friendship is shockingly deep and easy, their attraction is strong and steamy.

Navigating a vacation meet and leave to go back to real lives is a challenge that they navigate maturely, though they definitely have some bumps in the road. I loved how they were determined to be together and in order for that to happen, they chose behavior that would ensure that they got their wish. I loved how brave they both were in their quest to be together, especially Margot, though Beau gets major points for being brave enough to jump in first.

These are two really good people who deserve some happiness in life, especially Margot. It was
refreshing to read about mature folks and their doubts, and insecurities about life, their bodies and their future. I love the relationships they have with their kids and how wonderful they are with each other’s kids. I smiled through much of this because it was so heartfelt and real. Yes, there was some angst and I cringed several times but they were determined to push through because they were just so happy. I love the tie ins to others in Calamity Falls and SO look forward to what’s next! Bravo Ms. Kelly!

I’m a sucker for Christmas romance and the fact that neither of these people had romance on the mind made All I Want For Christmas Is You even better. While one of the characters in this book is from Erika Kelly’s Calamity Falls series, this book mostly takes place at Merry Falls Lodge in North Carolina where Beau is spending some time with his youngest daughter stuck at a nearby university. He keeps crossing paths with Margot who seems to do a bit of everything at the lodge and for Beau noticing this woman and feeling something towards something he doesn’t even know is way out of character. I loved that these two people who both were hurt by their ex-spouses and had no intention of starting anything just keep gravitating towards one another. This book was all kinds of sweet, a whole lot swoony, and while there was a bit of a conflict they worked it out with an apology and understanding.

I really liked Margot and the fact that she persevered when her husband threw her for a loop. It wasn’t easy, she took some time to get back on her feet with the help of her beloved aunt, and to assess and reflect on her marriage and where it went wrong. I admired her for looking deep and also for working to establish her own business doing something she loved while helping her aunt at her lodge. I loved that while she was attracted to Beau she was also cautious and careful.

Something that I found interesting is that Beau fell kind of hard and fast for Margo without even really knowing her. He knew it was crazy and he knew it couldn’t go anywhere and that’s why he didn’t push for even a night with her, but deep in his soul he knew she was special. That was kind of magical and it helped that his daughter Jessa really liked Margot as well.

When they are snowed in on Christmas Eve and Beau gives Margot a gift that touches her heart and she knows she wants one magical night with him and who is he to deny her. When they return to his home, real life and past hurts lead to some big issues they both must examine their actions and figure a way forward.

All I Want For Christmas was a well written story filled with emotion, romance, and two people figuring out how to give and take to make their relationship work. I loved it!

All I Want for Christmas is You is Book 13 in the Calamity Falls series by Erika Kelly, featuring a mature holiday romance for Margot and Beau. After experiencing the ultimate betrayal, Margot vowed to start fresh and pursue her own dreams, no man required. Then while working for her aunt at the Merry Falls Lodge, she met Beau, and was overwhelmed by the immediate connection and attraction she felt. Yes, she has plans, but why not indulge in a one night stand with the hot guy that’s also fun to talk to? Maybe because Mother Nature has a sense of humor, and they end up snowed in!!🫣😂 When his trip finally comes to an end, he just can’t let her go. Can they make it work if she goes with him to Calamity Falls?

What a wonderful return to Calamity Falls! These characters ooze authenticity, relatability, and charm. I was struck by the quality of the dialogue and the depth of the connection between Margot and Beau, and the way they opened up to each other. Beau could teach a class on how to woo a woman, just by listening and acting like you care. Even when he messes up, he hits it out of the park! I liked that it was a more mature couple for a change, giving a glimpse into that stage of life and the dynamics of parents with grown kids. Every layer was entertaining, whether it was the sweet, heartwarming moments of giving love another chance, the spicy interludes, the drama, or the funny moments. It was the perfect book to curl up with on a cold day! I can’t wait for Lorelei’s story!!

“When I look at you, I see someone my heart recognizes but my mind can’t place.”

All I Want For Christmas Is You was a heartwarming holiday story that will give you all the feels. Beau and Margot were absolute magic together and their story was both sweetly romantic and intensely passionate. I always love returning to Calamity Falls and checking in with all the characters there so that made this story even more fun.

“It was like the shape of him had been built especially for her.”

I loved Margot’s sense of strength and her spirit. When her ex walked out on her, she pulled herself up and made a new life for herself. She worked on herself and saw what was missing in her previous life. She knew what she deserved and she wouldn’t settle again.

“In this moment, he understood the home wasn’t four walls or a zip code. It’s who you’re with and not where you are. And Beau was his best self, his truest self, with Margot.”

Beau had an equally horrific marriage and thought he wasn’t capable of romantic love until he met Margot. He was instantly drawn to her and he finally understood what had been missing in his life. I loved his sense of family and his huge heart.

“I didn’t know what my life was missing until you filled up all the empty spaces.”

These two were absolutely beautiful together. The chemistry between them was electric, but underneath that, they had an innate understanding of one another. They listened and learned about each other and really tried to understand and communicate their feelings. It was so refreshing that they could recognize the triggers they had from previous relationships and work to fix them. Full of so much heart, heat and humor, All I Want For Christmas Is You was an emotionally compelling holiday romance that was full of Christmas magic.

Erika Kelly has once again crafted a delightful small-town Christmas romance with "All I Want For Christmas." This charming story stands out in the genre by featuring a couple who are slightly older, adding a layer of depth and maturity to the storyline.

Margot captures your heart from the very beginning. After a gut-wrenching betrayal, she is in desperate need of a fresh start. Enter Beau, a charismatic single dad whom you may have encountered in previous works by Ms Kelly. Beau proves to be the ideal Christmas book boyfriend, and his character adds an extra layer of warmth and relatability to the story.

What makes this novel truly special is the exploration of second chances at romance for an older couple. Margot and Beau, both hesitant to open their hearts again, embark on a journey that is as unpredictable as it is beautiful. The story skillfully unfolds before the reader's eyes, allowing them a front-row seat to the blossoming connection between these two characters.

Of course, the path to love is never smooth, and yet again Erika Kelly masterfully incorporates ups and downs that keep the readers engaged. The chemistry between Margot and Beau cannot be denied, making their evolving relationship all the more captivating. The holiday season serves as the perfect backdrop, weaving its magic into the narrative and adding an extra layer of warmth and festivity.

"All I Want For Christmas" is a heartwarming tale that proves love knows no age and that the holiday season has the power to rekindle even the most hesitant hearts. Erika Kelly has once again delivered a delightful romance that will leave readers with a warm glow and a renewed belief in the magic of second chances.

⭐ Synopsis

All I Want for Christmas Is You follows Margot and Beau — two mature, battle-worn adults who meet by chance and quickly find themselves wrapped up in an intense, whirlwind holiday romance. Both carry heavy histories, grown children, and real-life responsibilities, but their connection sparks fast and burns bright as they navigate grief, trust, and the possibility of second-chance love.

⭐ My Thoughts

This book is very much an insta-romance, and while that can sometimes work, the way Margot and Beau fell so hard, so fast felt a little unrealistic to me. It created a disconnect between what I expected and what actually unfolded on the page, and I know my reaction might differ from other readers.

One thing I did genuinely appreciate was seeing a romance with mature main characters. Margot and Beau both have adult children, even a grandchild, and that added a refreshing, grounded layer you don’t often get in holiday romances.

I sympathized deeply with Margot and everything she’d been through, but I struggled with her inner dialogue. It often felt unnatural, like she was thinking in a way someone with her trauma likely wouldn’t, sometimes more like polished therapy-speak than genuine internal processing. Beau, on the other hand, was a lovely character with a calming presence, but again, some of the communication between them felt less like real conversation and more like a counselling session.

The spice level surprised me, too. While it wasn’t unwelcome, I found myself wishing the two had spent more time developing emotional connection beyond intimacy.

That said, the ending wrapped things up nicely, and overall, it wasn’t a bad story. Just one that didn’t fully land for me the way I hoped.

Reading Erika Kelly’s All I Want For Christmas Are You: A Calamity Falls Small Town Romance (A Calamity Falls Small Town Romance Novel Book 13) is like indulging in an afternoon of pure delight. All I Want For Christmas is about a recent destitute divorcee, Margo, and Beau, a divorced CEO of a mining company, being stranded together in a winter chalet due to a winter storm on Christmas Eve. After a few days of giving in to their attraction and getting to know each other, Beau asks Margo to return him to his home outside Calamity Falls. Beau offers Margo a job to oversee the design and filling of a new mall he bought on his property. Margo flounders as she gets to know Beau’s family, trying to avoid falling into old habits of being a caretaker to the point that she disappears in the needs of others and getting her new art business to the end of being profitable. Beau has baggage from his ex-wife that overshadows going forward in a new relationship. Both Beau and Margo have adult children that factor into their new romance. Beau must balance the time between his work, family, and Margo, the first woman he ever felt romantic love and instant attraction for. The road to their HEA is full of bumps, misunderstanding, hurt, and conflicted feelings, but so worth the travel through the pages of All I Want For Christmas Is You. Erika Kelly can mesh characters between series to make a whole new cast of characters the reader always desires more stories. I love every book she has ever written.

I'm a sucker for a feel good, holiday romance and this is certainly that. After a devastating betrayal that led to the end of her twenty seven year marriage, Margot Rhodes is living in the service quarters of her aunts lodge as she has nowhere else to go. A chance encounter with a gorgeous guest leads to a connection that can only be described as out of this world. Beau is visiting his daughter and is captivated by the beautiful woman in the lodge, but he knows he wants to get to know her. After a wonderful night together, Margot wakes up to an empty bed and the thought that once again, she was passed over, but Beau has other ideas and after a whirlwind few days, she agrees to move to Calamity with him. Both Margot and Beau have been scarred in the past, having been betrayed by their exes, had their feelings disregarded but they are determined to make this work. They have both put in the work to resolve their issues and learn their self worth and to put themselves first, but when a crisis hits, Margot finds herself slipping back into her old ways and worries that she is trying to please everyone but herself.
This is a wonderful read, with heat, understanding and still that little bit of angst! The characters are wonderfully real, and their families rally around with their unwavering support. This is well worth curling up in your favorite chair with a hot chocolate, a blanket and a beautiful fire. Love this!

Settle in grab on tight and prepare yourself for all the feels . Because All I Want For Christmas truly was and is everything i mean everything. . It’s an emotional rollercoaster that plays on all your emotions in ways you won’t even be expecting. You’ll experience everything from being utterly speechless, to yelling outta pure frustration. Your heart will feel like it’s beating so fast and then bam being crushed with tears streaming down your face, you’ll be glued to the edge of your seat anticipating what will happen from one second to the next . And you’ll find yourself rooting so freaking hard . I was blown away in all the best ways . Sure this is a holiday themed love story but it’s without a doubt not an easy one . It’s a journey about betrayal and love and friendships and second chances . It’s a journey about finding yourself and loving yourself for who you are . It’s about chasing your dreams and learning to open your heart to love again . From page one I knew I was in trouble, I knew it was going to be a very long night of reading and man was I right . Something pulled me to Margot and Beau . I cannot really put it into words but the more I got to know them the more i fell in love with both . Fate brings these two together when they are least expecting it . A one night stand leads to feelings neither planned on feeling again . Will they get another chance at a happily ever after ? And will it be with each other ?

Everything you want in a holiday romance!
Snowed In/Forced Proximity
Damaged hearts prevail
Chemistry
HEA

Margot has a past that has so far been defining her. She has come a long way and has built a new life for herself. One that she has chosen and does not rely on having a significant other.

Beau has a fulfilled life and is not looking for anything permanent. His career and children take up all his time...or does it?

They agree to one night. However, Mother Nature has other plans for them as they find themselves snowed in together at her aunt's lodge. When you find yourselves snowed in around every turn with the person you were only supposed to spend one night with what else are any two people with magnetic chemistry to do? When the weather clears and they can go back to their regular lives they find they are not ready to let go of what they have found. Beau steps up and invites Margot back to his hometown now they just have to figure out how to get their HEA.

This book had me laughing out loud and fanning my face. They have great chemistry and you just want them to see that their pasts are clouding their future happiness. They both have to learn that to move forward together they have to overcome past hurts and emotional scars.

This is an amazing addition to this series and can be read without reading all the other books in the series. You want to make sure to add this to your Must Read list for the holidays.

Finding New Beginnings

Upon discovering her husband was involved with another woman, Margot finds herself on her own with nothing….no job, no home, no money…nothing. She turns to her aunt and moves into her inn in NC where she does begin to rediscover her art, her earlier career choice, and assists in running the inn.

When a sudden snowstorm closes down the area ( not something that happens around Christmas in NC too often,) Margot gets to know th handsome stranger a little better. He was to leave Christmas for home but when he finds himself stuck at the inn, he and Margot make quite the connection.

She was coming out of months of hurt and swore she was not a one-night stand woman but then thought that maybe this man, who she would never see again, might be the perfect one for him to break that rule. He, Beau, had also come out of a bad marriage and didn’t have plans to get involved. They definitely hit it off and things went strong from their first meeting, with a little bit of questioning on each person’s part.

Now a warning: if graphic sex scenes disturb you as a reader, then cross this off your list to read. The couple satisfies every possible sexual need they have and this could be difficult for some readers.

The story ends well, as expected, and Margot finds her inner strength and how to be strong and independent while being a part of a relationship.

Perfect addition to Calamity Falls and Merry After

Beau and Margot meet each other and in the span of a moment, know they are meant to be. Both fight it, but can you really fight destiny? Of course, with help from Mother Nature in the form of a snowstorm, destiny is written. Margot is finally healing after a divorce from a twenty-seven-year marriage, and Beau has been single for a long time following his ex-wife’s departure.

I love the way Erika Kelly takes these two people, who are healing after disastrous relationships and throws them together in a seemingly random way. They both have grown children and have figured they will never know ‘wild love’. But in an instant, this talented author shows them the possibilities. They both have to overcome their former selves by not being who they were in their past relationship but becoming the best and true version of themselves. This book made me feel good, swoon a bit at the heat between Beau and Margot, and enjoy that instead of ‘riding off into the sunset’, there was a ‘let’s work together and communicate’ to make our HEA work. This is a perfect addition to Calamity Falls and part of a multi-author Christmas collection Merry After. I’m really looking forward to Lorelei’s story too. I received an arc of this book from the author and Grey’s Promotions, and this is my honest review.

All I Want for Christmas Is You by Erika Kelly is a beautifully written love story that was a breath of fresh air as Beau and Margot are an older couple. If you're looking for a heartwarming holiday romance, this book is definitely worth checking out.

The characters in this book are well-developed and relatable. Beau and Margot are an older couple, which is a refreshing change from the usual young adult romance novels.

Erika Kelly's writing style is engaging and descriptive, making it easy to visualize the scenes and feel the emotions of the characters. The plot is predictable, but that's to be expected in a romance novel. However, the story is still enjoyable and heartwarming, with just the right amount of holiday cheer.

All I Want for Christmas Is You is a sweet and heartwarming holiday romance that is perfect for fans of the genre. While it may not be the most original story, the well-developed characters and engaging writing make it a worthwhile read.

Overall, if you're looking for a cozy holiday read with relatable characters and a heartwarming story, All I Want for Christmas Is You by Erika Kelly is definitely worth checking out.

Margot and Beau are two characters who so deserve to find a HEA after suffering through three heartbreak of their pasts. They notice each other at the Merry Falls Resort where Beau is staying while in town visiting his youngest daughter and Margot is living with her aunt who owns the resort.

They are attracted to each other and spend hours having deep and meaningful conversations. I loved seeing these two connect and acknowledge their painful pasts and what went wrong in their respective marriages. The chemistry between them is sizzling and they both take a leap of faith after knowing each other just a couple of days.

Their relationship journey has several bumps as hurt feelings, misunderstandings and emotional triggers from past hurts factor into their choices. Both want the relationship to work and they commit to talking things over like adults, but that’s easier said than accomplished sometimes.

This story is holiday festive and big on family connections and traditions. I enjoyed getting to know the Gentry family and seeing more of Calamity Falls.

I received a free ARC from the author; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

Margot had devoted her life to her husband and her children only to realize she was the only committed to their relationship. She has picked up the pieces and is forging a new future for herself where she is determined to protect her heart while working at the resort her aunt owns. She was attracted to Beau from their first meeting, but she is determined to not pursue anything with him until a snowstorm has them spending a few days together which will change everything.

Beau also has an unsuccessful marriage in his past and he now finds himself staying at the resort Margot aunt owns with his daughter. When he sees Margot, he is drawn to her in a way he has never felt before so when their time together comes to an end even though he wasn’t interested in love or a relationship he asks Margot to return to Calamity Falls with him however it was not without its complications.

This is a heart wrenching story about second chances and new beginnings. Both Beau and Margot have been burnt by love which causes some turmoil however they are about to realize that with the right person love is the greatest gift of all.

All I Want for Christmas is You, is Book 13 in the Calamity Falls Series by Erika Kelly.
I have not read any of the previous books from this series, but I may go back and do so
Margot and Beau have a lot in common. Their first marriages were miserable, they ended badly, and they each show scars from said marriages. Yet when they meet, they also share inexplicable and undeniable chemistry.
This story is about two people taking a chance on love and giving themselves the chance to be happy. They each not only deal with the damage left from their ex's, but their own shortcomings as well. Beau can become too work focused and struggle with prioritizing. While I felt Margo, who is trying to find her way financially, seems selfish at times for fear of returning to her old life.
At times, this book seemed to drag a bit, especially with Margo's inner thoughts. But, overall, I enjoyed the book and the later in life love story.

ARC was provided by Grey's Promotions, and this is my honest review.
