This town eats everything—including you!Caleb Anthony isn't done fighting the forces of evil. After disposing of the vampire cult in Kansas, he receives a distressed phone call from a man named Ira Mitchell. Believing Caleb to be an honest paranormal expert, Ira wishes to enlist the tabloid writer's help. The man witnessed his wife's body sucked down into the ground. She hasn't been seen since the unexplainable incident. The police prove to be ineffective on the case, and Ira is desperate to locate his missing wife. As other similar disappearances occur in the town of Brownwood, Caleb grows dangerously closer to the truth. The reporter faces off with a drug lord, a band of nail gun totting lunatics, a crooked sheriff, the FBI, and an inanimate evil that's hungry for mass quantities of flesh and blood. How will the doddering reporter combat this ultimate force of evil? From the author who brought you the novels "B-Movie Reels" and "B-Movie Attack," comes his next entry into the gore-soaked world of horror.

I dont know if i was supposed to read cider mills first but I didnt realise when i started reading it was a series.
There are a few mentions about Calebs past exerience with vampires, so i know he must survive that first story haha. Has it spoilt the story? I think probably not. This story does stand up on it's own. You dont feel like you entered the story half way through. I did enjoy this book and have not read anything like it so far.
