AAAA this is such an adorable series!! They are so cute together, and I love how insanely smart - but totally clueless- Elianna is!! She is such an autistic girly✨💅🏻 the art is beautiful and I love the characters! And I love Alan (he is so silly hehe).

Not QUITE as exciting as volume one, but still a great volume nonetheless!
I deeply enjoyed seeing more of Chris's perspective and just how much he cares and loves Eli. He is a prince who definitely knows how to bring ALLLL the swoon, which he certainly did halfway through this volume! LOL! I don't know how many times I wanted to blush on behalf of Eli because his love for her and how he has pursued her all these years was totally amazing! Talk about a perfect shoujo hero! LOL! (Also, that bonus chapter of him was so much fun!
Eli is adorable as always! Since we see more of the events in this volume from Chris's perspective, I feel were not quite as much in her head, therefore it was a little harder to gauge what she was thinking. While I don't think she was any less emotionally expressive, I think it just wasn't shown as much in this volume? I definitely am loving seeing her be A LOT more expressive though when Chris brings out all the romantic stops on her and she's totally blindsided by it. LOL! Plus seeing her face light up for HIM and not just books gave me all the warm fuzzies.
I LOVED Chris and Eli's backstory together! IT WAS SO SWEET!! Okay, maybe that's not QUITE the right word, but it was deeply interesting to see why exactly Chris has taken so long to really work his "charms" on Eli. (Eli was quite the character when she was younger! I never would have guessed she is the same young gullible woman she is now if I hadn't seen her much younger self! LOL!) I love how it was Eli's love for books that drew him to her and want to get to know more about her. She may not feel she is the brightest when it comes to social things, but she IS bright and smart because of what she reads, and that's exactly what attracted Chris to her in the first place. <3
I'm looking forward to seeing where this series goes as I really enjoyed the new change of scenery with that last half!

Me ha gustado un poco más que el primer tomo, pero aún así no sé si seguir con la serie, el dibujo es precioso pero los personajes no me acaban de llegar y no entiendo muy bien qué dirección quiere tomar la trama.

July 25, 2023 第二集比較喜歡克里斯朵夫向依莉亞娜坦露心曲，描述他珍而重之的童年邂逅回憶，那段小男孩初識情愛，渴望靠近心上人近一點的模樣相當可愛。雖然我前述嫌棄克里斯朵夫某些態度不適宜，但我仍然佩服他為了跟心上人相守所做的種種努力，確實也從許多細節上可窺見他非常重視依莉亞娜的態度，也會再三慎重地表明自己的愛情與呵護之意，消除戀人的心慌。第三集面對想要傷害未婚妻的男爵，克里斯朵夫狠瞪對方的表情被畫得充滿魄力與威勢。不過，我還是很懷念第一集那個面對依莉亞娜就不時會慌張失措，也會因為心上人傷心與劃清界線而失魂落魄的王太子。
依莉亞娜的人生應該算是相對順遂的吧？出身侯爵世家，檯面下的別稱又讓家族備受重視，在家中深受父兄愛護。所以看到依莉亞娜目睹親信們對愛琳有說有笑，再回想他們近日對待自己疏遠冷淡的態度，忍不住想著她當下是否會深刻感覺到世態炎涼，心生「過去四年他們之所以善待我，是否只是因為『王太子未婚妻』這一身份呢？」的感想。當然這只是誤會，事件落幕後，叔父提奧多爾、近衛騎士葛倫等人陸續向她澄清並致歉，從他們的鄭重態度我相信他們對依莉亞娜的友善絕非建立在虛假淺薄的情誼上。
由於我沒那麼喜歡主角兩情相悅後的戀愛互動，灑糖灑得甜得有些過膩，有些調情舉止在我來看又不是那麼恰當。因此後期我的關注焦點放在作者擴大詳述的世界觀的豐盈，裡面提及許多書籍，雖然都是虛構作品，但經由主角和其他愛書人的討論後，心裡也能認同好像很有趣，產生「要是能讀一下那本書就好了」的想法。其實看這部作品，我最羨慕的是依莉亞娜出生在全家族都熱愛書籍，也有足夠的財力和空間添購收藏書籍的環境，而且家人之間不但能同理對書籍的熱忱，還能夠互相討論意見。真好啊！我也很羨慕漫畫裡描繪的王立圖書館、西斯爾之星書籍市場的壯闊景象，豐富的藏書令人雀躍。我完全可以理解依莉亞娜激動的心情。現實生活的我經常會因為時間被壓縮、精神倦怠等等外部因素而影響展書動力或閱讀速度，可能就是因為這樣，才會羨慕依莉亞娜生活在可以無所顧忌，眾人也都支持她遨遊在各類書籍的環境裡吧。

L’histoire d’une princesse qui préfère la présence des livres plutôt que celles des hommes? Ça ne pouvait que me plaire. Le premier tome m’a tellement plu, j’avais plus que hâte de découvrir la suite de cette histoire. Je sens que plus je vais avancer dans les tomes et plus je vais aimer cette histoire. Tout me plaît, que ce soit l’histoire, les personnages mais aussi, et surtout, le coup de crayon. Je trouve que les illustrations sont tout simplement sublimes. Chaque page nous en met plein les yeux. Il y a même un détail que j’aime énormément : les cheveux d’Elianna. Ils sont tellement beaux, j’en suis complètement fan.
Dans ce second tome, Elianna, jeune fille de marquis, dont la réputation de préférer les livres à toute autre nourriture, a été surnommé « la princesse bibliophile ». S’étant persuadée qu’elle n’était qu’une fiancée de façade du prince héritier Christopher, Elianna découvre enfin les vraies intentions de ce dernier. Ce n’est pas à cause du surnom de sa famille, le fameux « cerveau du Southland » qu’il désire l’avoir à ces côtés mais parce qu’il est sous son charme à elle ! En prenant conscience de tout cela, Elianna décide de prendre ses sentiments à bras le corps…
Tout comme le premier tome, j’ai adoré ce tome ci. L’histoire est toujours aussi plaisante. J’aime énormément le personnage d’Elianna. Je m’identifie à elle sur plusieurs points. Moi aussi j’aime les livres, je les aime tellement que je préfère rester chez moi dévorer un bon bouquin plutôt que de mettre le nez dehors. Elle me fait beaucoup rire parfois, elle a des réactions que je trouve trop mignonne parfois, elle est vraiment adorable. On en découvre un peu plus ici sur le prince Chris. Il nous explique sa rencontre avec Elianna, qui a tout oublié d’ailleurs. Cette rencontre m’a tellement fait rire! La façon qu’elle a eu de le remettre à sa place, ça m’a fait mourir de rire. S’en prendre aux livres c’est plus qu’un sacrilège pour Elianna! J’aime beaucoup la relation entre les deux personnages également. Ces deux là sont vraiment adorables. J’ai hâte de voir comment tout ça va évoluer entre les deux.
Un second tome à la hauteur du premier. L’histoire avance tranquillement. On continue de découvrir les personnages mais aussi tout ce qu’il y a autour des fiançailles entre Chris et Elianna. J’adore l’ambiance dans ce manga. La présence, mais surtout l’importance qu’ont les livres dans cette histoire c’est un vrai plaisir pour moi, amoureuse des livres que je suis. J’ai plus que hâte de découvrir ce que le troisième tome soit entre mes mains!

Eine Fälschung sorgt für Aufregung, denn es ist der Nationalschatz, der ins Königshaus geschleust wird und das nur um unehrenhafte Ziele zu verfolgen. Zum Glück kann Eliana die Fälschung schnell enttarnen, sodass es zu keinem größeren Problem kommt. Dieser Tatsache verdankt sie eine höhere Position und auch die Festigung ihres Ansehens am Hofe. Der Prinz erobert währenddessen immer weiter ihr Herz, sodass die beiden sich endlich näher kommen. Da der Prinz seine Eliana gerne glücklich sieht, geht er mit ihr auf einen ganz besonderen Markt, der Elianas Herz höher schlagen lässt.
Das Cover ist mal wieder ein Traum. Dieses hier gefällt mir sogar besser als das von Band 1. Ich liebe vor allem die Detailtiefe der Zeichnung. Die erste Seite im Manga ist auch wieder koloriert, sodass man einen guten Einblick in die schillernde Welt von Eliana erhält. Der Zeichenstil ist verträumt und verspielt, genau wie es Eliana ist. Vor allem ist der Zeichenstil sehr detailliert. Besonders die Charaktere werden gut in Szene gesetzt. Und die Dialoge sind einfach nur der Hammer. Besonders die Szenen zwischen dem Prinzen und Eliana sind zum Lachen und Dahinschmelzen.
Eliana ist eine verträumte junge Frau, die am liebsten den ganzen lieben Tag lesen möchte. Sie kann sich eine Welt ohne Bücher nicht vorstellen. Sie zieht sich zurück und ist eher eine Eigenbrötlerin. Obwohl sie eher schüchtern wirkt, kennt sie fast jeder. Sie begegnet den Menschen stets mit Freundlichkeit und macht keinen Unterschied bei den einzelnen Gesellschaftsständen. Der Prinz gibt sich auf der einen Seite nahbar und auf der anderen Seite unnahbar.
Die Geschichte gefällt mir wieder sehr gut. Ich finde sie witzig und verträumt. Es ist total angenehm Elianas Geschichte zu folgen. Sie ist mir unglaublich sympathisch. Mein besonderes Highlight ist die Rückblende in die Vergangenheit, wo sich Eliana und der Prinz das erste Mal begegnen.
Wer nach einem Manga sucht, in dem eine bücherbesessene Prinzessin ihre Liebe findet, dann seid ihr hier genau richtig. Und es sind nicht nur Bücher, die ihr Herz höher schlagen lassen.

Una vez resueltos los malentendidos entre la pareja principal, Eliana es por fin aceptada por todas las casas nobles del reino y puede seguir siendo la prometida de Christopher sin ninguna barrera en el camino, sobre todo ahora que son conscientes de que lo que sienten ambos es amor. Además se nos muestra como se conocieron Chris y Eli, y como una escapada (romántica) les lleva a una aventura en la que el nombre de la familia Bernstein está entredicho.
Una de las cosas que más me ha gustado en este tomo, además de la interacción entre personajes, es que está contado desde el punto de vista de Christopher y conocemos más a fondo sus sentimientos.
Estoy deseando que se publique el tomo 3 para ver como sigue la historia y disfrutar más del precioso dibujo que tiene este manga.

Prince Christopher seems to have a very good memory when it comes to Elianna, though Eli herself has a horrible memory, especially when it comes to people and her childhood it seems. We learn a lot about why the prince has gone to such great lengths to keep Eli at his side and see his rather awkward attempt at their first date outside the palace (thought it seems like they more just ran into each other to spend time in the palace rather than ever actually having a date previously). Eli is all too pleased with their destination, but events at the market couldn't be expected in the least, not helped so much by Eli's rather rampant imagination and skepticism. While the storyline still feels familiar since watching the anime, the details are also vague enough that I can't recall exactly how this plays out or why the Roma dislike Eli's family name so strongly.

Resulta y acontece que la familia de Eli tiene un apellido secreto del cual ella no tenía conocimiento y, además, ella fue el primer amor del príncipe sin recordarlo, lol.
Sigo sin conectar con esta historia así que la dejaré en pausa para reflexionar qué no termina de convencerme. El dibujo no es porque es bonito. Tal vez sea el ritmo narrativo.

Perfect for bibliophiles everywhere!
This second volume was such a wonderful read! I love how the main characters relationship is developing. As a bibliophile myself, I couldn’t help but blush and laugh with giddiness over the prince’s antics with the Bibliophile princess.

Both anime and manga are super cute and the pace the anime has is very good regarding the manga. This is a very simple romance but the fact that the princess loves reading and the prince his clearly willing to do anything for her made me fall for this manga/anime. But it is tremendously cute <333

Yup, I definitely prefer this pacing to the light novel's. Also, I find this very cute. Looking forward to the anime this fall.

Yup, this works better as a manga or anime? I don’t know if there is an anime of this, but it would probably still be better than the light novel.
