While trying to figure out if the relationship she was in was worth saving anymore, Aspen tries her best to get in the holiday spirit. When the harsh reality of the man she should've let go before now slaps her in the face, Aspen focuses on loving herself. For her efforts, the universe dropped her very own Santa Claus at her doorstep. Only this man's beard is black like his skin, his money is long as the tool in his pants, and his heart is as big and giving as Aspen's. Stop the presses 📰 extra extra read all about it 🗞️ I’ve finally found out who boo boo the fool is! We know it ain’t ya mama but it’s for d*mn sure Aspen!! Sis how on earth did you allow Lamont dusty crusty self to play in your face for 42 out of the 57 pages in this book?!?!!!!!

Aspen has been in a long term relationship for several years with a fk 🥷 and at this point I can’t even blame Lamont! He found a clown and put in an application for the circus. Now I will say that Aspen has been dipping here and there and after running into a former not so sneaky link decided to double back for old times sake. Ty was ready to claim Aspen and he wasted not a single second doing so. Ty’s bare minimum was nowhere near Lamont’s BEST efforts.

This was a nice quick read with minimal angst and drama.

‘Have you ever felt empty because you filled a ninja’s cup, and all he did was pour yours out? Yeah… that’s where I had been and I vowed to never go back there. To never let a man, no matter how much I loved him, deplete me.’

Now, Ms. Mamas, why are you still in this dead end ain’t goin’ nowhere “relationship” givin’ Lamont’s trash azz all your energy and peace?!!! Aspen is well aware her boyfriend (if you can even call him that) is trash but, for some ungodly reason, she can’t seem to let him go. He barely calls, he half azz replies to texts, he makes plans just to cancel them, and if there’s any money being spent, it’s hers. To add insult to injury, this fool got another woman pregnant and now, Aspen has to deal with baby mama drama. Now, I’ma give girlfriend a little bit of credit. She got her lick back and, to this day Lamont still doesn’t know. Sis got flewed out and slutted out for an entire week by her childhood friend and she regrets nothing. 😏😏😏😏 While shoppin’ for Christmas PJs in Target, who does my girl run into? Mr. Lick Back himself and he wants that ole thang back. F**king Under the Mistletoe was a quick and cute read. Got me over here writin’ a letter to Saint Keenan askin’ for my own Tyshawn Bentley.

Aspen, girlllllllllll! As soon as Lamont sorry ass showed you who he was the 1st time, you should’ve dipped then! I’m just glad it finally clicked for her & realized her self worth cuz I was worried.

Mr. Ty Bentley ⚾️🧢💵🤑 he meant business. Him & Aspen spinned the block and never looked back 🫶🏽❤️

This was a cute quick Christmas story. Would love an update on these two.

Now This Is How You Spin The Block

This was a short and sweet read with a great message. When they don't make you a priority LET THEM GO 👏

Aspen was tied to a comfortable situationship that added no value to her life. Ty swooped in and showed her what it’s like to have someone choose you and show up for you. That mistletoe DID WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. Add this to your holiday TBR.

I read this looking for Christmas vibes which it didn’t give but it mentioned Christmas lol. If anything the whole story was toxic and let’s be for real Aspen was an airhead and a dummy for even attempting to give Lamont another chance. Should’ve been told him to go play house with his babymama since he care so much about what she think. Then Lil Ty Ty from the Eastside . . . he was a baller and didn’t hesitate to blow a bag on my girl. Buuuuuuut the sex and him stopping to wash his hands . . . I just couldn’t deal lmao I laughed so hard at that. Overall, no Christmas vibes just toxic energy but it was a cool read.

Great Read

This was a good holiday read. Aspen definitely deserved better than that lame Lamont. And what better way than to be reunited with Ty. He knew what he wanted and went for it when it came to Aspen. He sure did prove it in more ways than one. I'm glad Aspen realized what she needed versus settling for empty promises. What a night under the mistletoe can bring.

Revenge love

This was aight.

Aspen was going through it. She had been dealing with a man that was doing the damn hokey pokey with her feelings. One foot in, one foot out, and turning her all around, but unfortunately she allowed him to. As Christmas approaches she realizes that he is going to be his usual self and not show up for her. Leaving her down bad and lonely. She runs into Ty her oldie but goodie, the one whom she thought would be her only and HE was applying pressure. He was an MLB player and he was ready and prepared to shower her with everything he thought she deserved. The revenge is hot and sweet.

First off girl why you waste yo time when this man was clearly smitten with you YEARS ago. Second the story about the parents seemed disjointed, there wasn't a solid flow between that story line.

This was an okay read. One thing that I love about BriAnn's stories is that there is always a mention of Kansas City, I'm from Kansas so close enough to appreciate the gesture. She also does a great job focusing on black businesses even when they aren't real, but the support is felt.

this story was cute and not as cringy as I thought it was going to be initially. I really liked the fmc, Aspen, she reminded me a lot of myself having settled before and even small things like driving the same brand of car lol. Lamont reminded me of someone I’ve dealt with before and the story just hit its mark with me. Ty was a genuinely likeable character and I liked that he was a Major League Baseball player instead of the typical basketball or football star or rapper or drug dealer. It was different. He was such a dominant man without being aggressive towards her like some of these genre of books seem to glorify. She was also in her mid twenties which I enjoy because again most of the fmcs are always younger, being like anywhere from teens 16-21 years old. I liked the authors writing and the story flowed. There was so much to the plot garnering self love and self worth and self value. It was a good read for sure. I also liked the storyline of her parents and their love story. It was short but it was good and it was an actual Christmas story that had the Christmas theme in it!

3.5 ⭐

2 things I love in a book;
✔️ When an ain't shut man is kicked to the curb
✔️ When a woman is spoiled by a rich man

It was difficult to root for Aspen because she was such a dummy about Lamont. A man who consistently and to the end played in her damn face. Thank God Ty came around because Aspen would still be chasing her tail and Lamont.

Aspen girl why are we holding on to Lamont. Let that man go be a father to his child because he can’t do both clearly. I really was expecting holiday filth going into this from the title but I got a beautiful story, some toxicity, but at the end of the day she was about to be properly by a rich man at that! I’m gonna to figure out how to get 10k in my zelle now 😂

This was such a cute and fun holiday
read. I loved Ty and Aspen so much especially
when Ty checked Lamont. I was rooting
for Aspen in the other holiday read.
Ty came and stole the show with dropping
10k on Aspen in Target and showing up
with gifts Christmas Eve. I am happy that
her parents got back together. I was glad when
Aspen finally let Lamont go because he was a
hot mess 😒 I love that Ty was a pro-baseball
player because he got big money 🤣

Ty might be my fav MMC

Aspen isn’t used to being loved properly. On top of it all, her parents are separated, her dude is trash, and she thinks this holiday season will be another sad one.

But a trip to Target changed it all when she ran into Ty.

Y’all when I tell you, Ty did everything right. He had me smiling so hard. He wasn’t playing behind Aspen and wasn’t coming off her again.

This is a must read! In addition to love there were so many small snippets of life lessons that felt like a much needed hug.

While the title speaks for itself, I felt the book was so much more than that. Ty came back into Aspen's life at just the right time. Once she decided to love herself enough to leave her loser on again off again boyfriend for good, Ty stepped in and showed her just what it meant to be loved on and appreciated. It was nice that the family welcomed him in as well and he helped bring back the joy in the holiday for her. This was a nice quick read that packed a punch.

Cute little holiday read. Ty is that man!!! He knew what he wanted and went after it. No back and forth needed! Aspen did give a little woe to me, but she was dealing with bum, so Imma give her some grace.

“The main message is to value yourself. Love yourself always. In all ways. I live by those words. You are worthy of a love that doesn’t confuse you” - Bri

Listen, I needed that message! 😭

This was such a good read! Ty and Aspen cross paths again while shopping at Target for pjs. Aspen was grabbing some for her DUSTY, cheatin a$$, lying a$$ 🥷. Next thing she knows Ty done sent her 10k and then popped up at her place on Christmas Eve with enough gifts for 10 women! 😫 Lord! I’ve seen what you’ve done for others! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 😅

Ty and Aspen weren’t the only two that rekindled in this perfect, second chance romance. 💝 I’m literally about to read everyone Bri writes. This was my first book by her and definitely not my last.

CHEFS KISS! 🤌🏾

The title is a bit misleading. There is a lot of emotion and romance in these pages than one would expect. Does she get thoroughly turned out under the mistletoe?? YES!!!

Our FMC Aspen is very likable and my heart went out to her. She's been in a 6 year Situation which resulted in her "friend" having a child on her and she forgave him. Now this man keeps playing in her face. For 3 years he's been bouncing between two homes trying to make her his side chick and she's not having it.

He doesn't want his son around her which pissed me off because dude. How you gonna be in a relationship with my girl before and after the birth of this child but claim she can't be around him because he will get confused. Confused HOW?!!?!

If you are serious about my girl shouldn't she be building a bond with your son?? - End Rant
Anyways, this is a short story about our girl seeing her worth and being loved properly. I would consider this a second chance for our MC because they have a long history together and he knows she's who he wants.

I love the way BriAnn Danae writes. It was emotional, funny, sexy, and entertaining.

another short. sweet. & to the point book by Ms. BriAnn Danae!

baby Ty! he brought the energy as soon as his character was introduced! HUGE BDE!! (iykyk)

Aspen has had her share with trash men and haven't had the opportunity to really experience genuine love. In addition to that, her parents are separated, her "boyfriend" is trash af 🚮 and she anticipates another unhappy holiday season. However, everything took a turn during a visit to Target when she unexpectedly ran into her old boo thang, Ty. Let me tell you, Ty absolutely exceeded expectations. He brought a big smile to my face. He was completely devoted to Aspen and never left her side. Alongside the love story, it's filled with invaluable life lessons that provided comfort like a warm hug. A great Christmas love story

Great short read! Aspen acted like Lamont or life in general made her self esteem very low. He was really a very shady dude. All the 🚩🚩🚩🚩 were there all around esp when he had a son during their soo called relationship. It aint noway a woman gone go 2 months without any communication wit what supposed to be her man, plus barely any loving or anything wth!! She was acting like she was't the freakin prize. I would of told Ty get a moving truck and said let figure this out step by step as I was packing my
house up soo fast sent a post card to my family, called let them know Im in good hands.Explained the details later. Seems as though she loved the Toxic trauma Lamont was more into it wit the bm.

Ty showed up and showed out at just the right time! However, I wish he would have arrived sooner because my girl, Aspen, was going through it! How she dealt with Lamont's tired butt for so long is beyond me! But as they say, one man's loss is another man's gain—especially when the winner is wearing the loser's pajamas! (This comment will make more sense once you read the story. Lol!) Ty was a man who stood on business through and through! I would love to read more about Ty and Aspen. The author mentioned in her notes that Ty and Aspen's chemistry was good and easy for her to write about, and she could have kept their love story going. If she decides to give them a full story in the future, I’m definitely onboard! I really enjoyed this holiday short story.

F*cking Under The Mistletoe was messy, healing, spicy and necessary. Aspen had been stuck in a six year off and on situation that should’ve ended long before it did and Lamont cheating and making a baby should’ve been the final nail. Familiarity really had her in a chokehold and watching her try to rationalize that mess was frustrating in the most real way. Enter Ty Bentley 🥰 Black Santa with money, intention, history and pressure. He didn’t just want Aspen, he chose her loudly and consistently and that contrast was everything. Ty yanked her out of acceptance of love scraps and into being loved properly. This book was sexy, chaotic and cathartic. Aspen didn’t just get a man, she got free, cracked like a glow stick and honestly that was the real gift under the mistletoe.
