Join Millie and Luka on a passionate journey that will make your heart race and leave you cheering for their happily ever after in this steamy hockey rom-com. “Another Goal” sizzles with chemistry, witty banter, and the thrill of the game, proving that sometimes, love is the most daring play of all.

Wildcatters Hockey Book 4

Luka "Stolly" Stol is the upcoming offensive star of the Houston Wildcatters hockey team.
He meets Millie when he sits down at her table in a restaurant that her girlfriend just got up from. He eats/drinks her friend's meal telling her he's her "temporary date" until her friend finishes dealing with a problem.

Millie Jones is a chemical engineer, smart, beautiful who craved adventure but shied away from it because of her father and the issues he brought against her. No more fun or living an actual life but Luka tempts her at least for one night.

Millie had left the states, moved to Sri Lanka to work and live for several years. She wanted to get away from her ex and also her father. Then she finds out she's pregnant and tells Luka.

This starts an emotional roller coaster for both of them. Neither has opened up about their childhoods and how bad it was. Nor has Millie said anything about her father and what danger he brings.
Luka wants to be with Millie but he has to get past her barriers. The love is there but is it enough? Can she trust him?

There are some dark moments, twists and turns but learning to deal with the fears and to fight for love against all the odds.

5 stars
I loved the scene going to the hospital and the officer. The bantering and camaraderie between the teammates was priceless.
My one grip is the rings--rubies are not a birthstone for June but for July. Picky, yes.

Another Goal is the 4th installment in the "Wildcatters Hockey Series" by Alexa Padgett. It is a fun, dual POV romance featuring a rookie NHL star and a brilliant chemical engineer.

Millie is a chemist but still manages to deny the off the charts chemistry with Luka because she is afraid he will not fully reciprocate her feelings.

The romance between them is explosive, and I found myself cheering for Luka and yelling at Millie to "get it together girl!" Meanwhile, Luka is willing to travel to the far corners of the world to prove his love and devotion to her and their baby.

Five stars! Definitely recommend!

I love the Wildcatters Hockey Series by Alexa Padgett. Another Goal is another great addition to the series. I love reading about these hockey men and their women. I love their stories and how they came together.

Another Goal gives us Millie and Luka’s story. I think Millie and Luka fell in love with each other when their eyes met as they sat in a restaurant peering into each other's souls over their table.

They live worlds apart but they come together rather quickly when Millie tells Luka that she is pregnant with his baby after spending one night together. Luka catches the first plane he can to visit with Millie.

Luka wants to spend the rest of his life with Millie and their baby but Millie is not certain that she can trust Luka after the things she experienced and went through with her dad and her ex.

Millie and Luka kept me on the edge of my seat as I raced through their story waiting to see how they were going to overcome all their troubles. Hoping they would solve them all before the baby came.

Millie and Luka have had a bad experience in the past with their parents. They have so much to deal with. My heart broke for Millie when I found out all the things her father had put her through and all the lies. I was rooting for Millie and Luka from the first page.

I can’t wait to read the next story in the Wildcatters Hockey Series. I can’t wait to see what awaits the next couple. I can’t wait to see what their story will entail. I have said it before and I will keep saying it I love the Wildcatters Hockey Series I can’t get enough of it.

I highly recommend Another Goal to anyone looking for their next great read! Grab a copy of Another Goal today!

Oh my goodness what a lovely story this was, I am a newbie to Alexa Padgett's books and a newbie to this series. I have gone against my OCD where I have to read books in order reading this book...because this is book 4 of the series and I haven't read the books before this....and I am so glad I did break my compulsion. Because experiencing Luka and Millie's story was everything, this is such a funny, sweet, and sexy book. I guarantee you will fall in love with Millie and Luka. I did straight away, Luka is so swoonworthy he took my breath away...with his love for Millie and the baby that surprises them both. They don't know each other that well, they had spent a week together after meeting at a dinner and they have a passionate night...and then Millie goes to Sri Lanka, they probably never expect to see each other again. But Millie is pregnant and as soon as she tells Luka it is his baby she is having Luka is their for them both straight away supporting Mille through-out the story. Both characters go on an emotional journey as they try to deal with their issues, they have to reconcile their pasts before they can enjoy a future together. Millie has trusts issues and father problems, he treats her awfully...and so she is uncertain whether she should trust Luka. Luka has his own troubles and they are there for one another. This story is both heart wrenching and heartwarming and I was rooting for them both from the start. I really like Alexa Padgett's writing, I read it with ease and enjoyed it very much. Superb. 5 STARS.- Cat W.

Get ‘hold of your feels, ‘cause they're about to be all over the place with Luka and Millie's story! You won’t find any of that immature drama and manufactured angst here, but tons of deep emotion and expert heart-string manipulation that is guaranteed to thrill and delight you.

I adore this professional hockey world and the guys and their ladies we've come to love, and this time it's Luka Stol's turn. It may have started with him doing a favor for a teammate, but spending time with Millie Jones is no hardship. There's something intriguing about her brilliant intelligence, her compelling eyes, and her guarded heart.

And when Luka finds out Millie is pregnant with his child, nothing will keep him from them. Not time, not distance, and certainly not some megalomaniac's nefarious plan to feed his own narcissism. Now, if he can just convince Millie the she can trust Luka with her heart, and that he’s in it for the long haul.

This is one of those stories I wish I could experience for the first time all over again. I adore Luka and Millie, both more alike than they realize with multiple layers, old hurts, and vulnerabilities. At its heart this is a story about family and finding home. About letting go of old fears, learning to trust, and finding forever with your other half. Humorous, steamy, and bursting with sentiment, this one is sure to enchant your romantic heart and stay with you long after the last page.

Spice 2.5🌶

In this book, you meet Luka, who plays for the Wildcat Hockey team. Tall and gorgeous, he sits down at the table where Millie, a chemical engineer, has been eating with her best friend. The friend got up to go deal with a problem where she is with some of the hockey team. Luka tries to warm Millie up with his personality, but Millie is very shy and reserved. Luka talks her into hanging out and going to a party. They have a wonderful night together, and things progress from there 😉

Millie has a plan where she moves to another state to work. She needs to get away from her father and ex, all for good reasons. Only she had been sick since her move. She ends up at the hospital to only find out she's pregnant. She is so messed up from this because a baby was not part of her plan.

Millie ends up telling Luka, and they both have barriers they have to break down about their past and childhood. Luka wants a relationship with Millie and to make this work.

Those past things always have a way to come back and bite you in the kisser. There are some twist and turns they have to work through. Especially when it comes to Millie and her father and ex. They are crap and I can see why Millie is the way she is.

The author did a great job writing this book. This is my first read by her, and I hope to read more in the future. I loved the hospital scene and the cop. You will fall in love with these characters and understand everything they are going through. The author wrote this very well. Although June's birth stone is not ruby's. I know I'm a June baby along with my daughter. No biggie, though she probably should have just looked it up.

I received this as an ARC and this is my honest opinion on this book. I would recommend it to others that like the tropes of hockey, surprise pregnancy, dirt bag ex, buttmuch father, found family, small town and spice.

Phenomenal:
This book was amazing and I felt an instant connection to the characters and quickly became invested in their journey. I particularly loved that there were many facets to this story and found it to be quite an emotional whirlwind. There was drama, intrigue, angst and of course sweet romance. Family, both natural and found, features prominently and it was especially lovely seeing the rough and tough hockey guys being brought to their knees by a tiny baby.
Millie and Luka were perfect for one another and I loved seeing them deal with their deep emotional issues and external challenges.
This book would be best enjoyed if read as part of the series and preferably close together. It took me a bit to recall what had previously transpired as it had been a while since I had read the preceding book and the timeline overlapped a bit. Now I am anxiously awaiting the next book!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are solely my own.

Another Goal by Alexa Padgett: 5 stars. Heartbreaking and heartwarming
Millie & Luka were both unloved children and carry the scars. But when they meet, their chemistry sizzles! They are amazing people who overcome their heartbreak together, eventually, but it’s a really tough journey.
This is a great story, with the best wrap up that includes some well deserved karma.
Favorite passage: “With each of her words, heat sizzled through my veins. I stared into her eyes, needing her to understand what I was offering—me, all of me—to her, the unloved child, the broken, traumatized teen, the bitter, untrusting woman, the caring partner, and the well-loved mother and soon-to-be wife.”

We are back for more Wildcatters Hockey, and Luka Stol is this story's swoon-worthy hero. Millie is our chemistry loving, nerd, who has a terrible history with men. But when these two meet, sparks fly.
Both of our characters have not had role models for parents, yet together, they do what they need to with the support of their found families. Now living in separate countries with a baby on the way, I love how Luka finds a way to be with her; I wanted them to figure it all out so badly.

I am excited to read the next story and see who the next player is who falls.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

This is the first book I read by the author and I am in love with her writing and this amazing world she has created. I could not help but fall for the characters and lost myself in them. The complete read was an emotional rollercoaster. Millie and Luka are completely different yet fit together perfectly. I could not help but fall in love with them although there were moments were I was frustrated with them especially Millie. I loved getting to know them as they got to know each other and fell in love. It isn't easy to trust after yours is shattered by your parent. I was in awe with Millie's strength. Though she was scared she did not give up on life. And I was swooning over Luka for never giving up. He kept fighting for them even when Millie pushed him. My heart broke for everything they had to endure. There are so many moments where I could not control my laughter and cackled like a crazy person. I loved the secondary characters and cannot wait to read there books. This is a fun read filled with emotions that tug at your heart strings. Thanks to Alexa and Wildfire Marketing for the advanced copy of this amazing read.

Alexa Padgett hits it in the net with ANOTHER GOAL (Wildcatters Hockey #4). NHL star winger Luka Stol and chemical engineer Millicent (Millie) Jones have a one-night stand that leaves her pregnant. Luka wants to be there for Millie and their child, but Millie’s past makes it hard for her to trust.

I like Millie and Luka. Both do not have the best families. As they get to know each other, they discover they have more in common than they originally thought. Luka is a good guy and determined to win Millie over. The two face a number of challenges throughout the story. My heart went out to the characters and what they endured.

ANOTHER GOAL is skillfully written and exciting throughout. This is the first book that I have read by Alexa Padgett. I enjoyed her writing style. I now want to read the other books in the Wildcatters Hockey series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

5 Star Review of Another Goal (Wildcatters Hockey #4) by Alexa Padgett

Alexa Padgett is a new author to me and I am surprised I have not come across her books before.

I enjoy hockey romances and found Another Goal to be well written and entertaining.

The characters were engaging and I found myself drawn into the story that the author wove.

This is Luka and Millie’s story and it was complicated. There were a number of twists and turns that I didn’t expect.

Both Luka and Millie’s lives have not been easy and my heart broke for Millie with all she has been through.

The connection between Luka and Millie is palpable and their journey was passionate and at times unpredictable.

Millie is a self proclaimed need, who really wants to be loved, but doesn't believe she can be loved.
Luka is a hot hockey player. He has a reputation both on and off the ice.
When these two meet neither thought much about it. But their connection was strong.
Luka is completely smitten. Millie can't trust that he is true to his word.
This is a sweet romance. These are two people who so want to find love and be in a relationship but have never experienced love or seen a great relationship.
As they navigate their feelings, their families and friends, as well as the surprise baby, they need to learn to trust.
This is a great read.

From the first page Luka stole my heart. Seriously his first interaction with Millie was the best. This story broke my heart but then put it back together. I love the depth of the Wildcatters and their women. True men with deep relationships not just with thier woman but with each other. The love and support found in this series is heart warming. Demolished this story and am already jonesing for the next one!

This is book four in The Wildcatters Hockey series and it is Luka and Millie’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Millie was in a restaurant waiting for her best friend Ida Jane to return after dealing with a problem when a big man sat down at Millie’s table not only surprising her but also causing her alarm and anxiety especially as she was a quiet person after everything that she had been through so now she not only dressed down in baggy clothes and never went to part or be on her own with strange men but the more Luka spoke to her the more she decided to let herself go and go to a party with him hoping that she wasn’t making a big mistake. Luka played for the Wildcatters Hockey Team and was also a playboy that didn’t do relationships or commitments and he also couldn’t afford any distractions but for some reason he couldn’t ignore or resist Millie and they ended up spending a explosive night together only for them both to carry on with there lives. Millie now moved half way around the world in Sri Lanka working her dream job only then she finds out that she is pregnant with Luka’s baby and doesn’t know what to do next as she can never to back to where she used to live because of her father and ex so she tries hard to ignore Luka when he keeps trying to get in touch with her. Luka felt a real connection to Millie and he thought that she felt the same way but instead she constantly wouldn’t answer her phone leaving him hurt and disappointed and as he couldn’t do anything about it he decided that he needed to concentrate on his career which needed to take top priority but that still didn’t stop him from thinking about her. When Millie decided to tell Luka that she is pregnant he is so shocked but determined to be there for Millie and there baby and prove to her that he will be a good and supportive person but first he needs to get Millie to lower the walls that she has built so high around her and let him in so he knows that he will have to be patient or he could lose her. Millie and Luka have strong attraction and chemistry between them but they have both been through so much in there lives and carry baggage, have trust issues, insecurities, carry trauma, have complicated lives, have trouble moving forward but the love that they have for each other is truly beautiful once they get together and come to the conclusion that they are stronger together then apart and even after all the ups and downs and pain and drama that they have both gone through there relationship was stronger and I am glad that they sorted out everything so that they could have the happiness and future that they both deserved. Wow this book certainly takes you on a rollercoaster ride of so many different emotions that will have you in tears while turning the pages to see what the outcome will be for them all in the end and I am so glad that justice was served. I read this book in one sitting as the story pulled me in right from the first page and kept my attention throughout as it was so addictive and I can’t wait to read more books in this amazing series.

Another Goal is my first read from Wildcatters Hockey series, as well as my first read from new to me author Alexa Padgett.

In this Surprise Pregnancy, Hockey Romance, author Alexa has us navigating through the journey that Millicent ‘Millie’ Anne Jones and Luka ‘Stolly’ Aaron Stol venture upon, told through their dual POVs.

If there was one thing Another Goal did well and develop on thoroughly, it was displaying the emotions. Talk about a deeply emotional whirlwind journey.
The way Alexa dug deep into Millie and Luka’s characters is what allowed us to truly see the unravelling of their layers. Especially considering how we were able to dig down deep into the raw, nitty grittiness of their emotions.
Then again given their emotional issues that stemmed back to their childhood, it was to be expected.

Whilst the storyline did give us other elements to focus on given all that was going on in their lives with their careers, friends and family leading to drama and conflict. And some mystery from what was being alluded too, considering the secrets that were being kept.
And some surprises along the way too.
The focus did heavily stem on Millie and Luka's relationship as well as their characters individual, which is where the exploration of the emotionally charged, angsty-ness stemmed from.
Adding a realness to the story, allowing us to see a genuine and realistic journey of Millie and Luka having to work at overcoming their issues to become the found family they found with each other.
All the whilst trying to build on a relationship, seeing as there was a lot of back and forth causing major whiplash, mostly because it felt like it was never ending with how often it would occur.
But then again, it was to expected, at least on Millie’s part due to her struggles from deeper level grief and trauma.

Despite all the ups, downs and many, many hurdles thrown Millie and Luka’s way, how they were towards one another as a result of it when it came to showcasing their feelings and being there for the other when needed proved that they truly were made for each other. Being exactly what the other needed.
Always trying to help each other by putting the other before their own needs, particularly in Luka's case even if it meant sacrificing his own needs and happiness.
It truly made for a deeply heartfelt, touching and loving journey.

Author Alexa Padgett came through with Another Goal being an enjoyable read with a truly moving storyline that kept me reading all the way through. Especially given that it wasn't just a typical Sports Romance story Alexa had me expecting with keeping me on my toes throughout.

I enjoyed this book, but would strongly encourage first reading the prior books in the Wildcatters series and definitely Another Hit #3 Wildcatters before jumping into this story.

Millie and Luka bring a heavy load of emotional baggage into this story and it takes a lot of work for them to sort through it to get to their happily ever after. Their sexy hook-up and first meet up/get to know you happens is off page and during the timeframe of Maxim and Ida Jane’s book (#3) - this book opens with Millie discovering she’s a few months pregnant after moving to Sri Lanka. Emotionally she’s not in a good place, and after later learning why…I was heartbroken for what she’s been through. I was originally frustrated with how closed off she was with Luka about the baby, but later on in the story I felt bad and just wanted her to finally have some happiness!

Luka is a young professional athlete who has enjoyed the lifestyle, but after meeting Millie he is now a changed man. He’s so determined to be a part of his baby’s life and determined to break through Millie’s high walls, but still sensitive about his own worth. This guy has also been put through an emotional wringer, and deserves happiness.

I loved seeing some favorite characters from the prior books engage with Millie and Luka, especially Ida Jane. A few of the single guys make a great impression for future books - I’m looking at you Cruz!

For all the emotional depth this book tied up in this story, it is definitely entertaining and enjoyable…just don’t expect a fluffy romcom/sports romance because that’s not what you get with Alexa’s writing. I love the emotional tugs and seeing these characters grow into better, stronger versions over the course of nearly a year timeframe.

I received a free ARC from the author; and I am voluntarily leaving an unbiased review.

Another Goal ( Wildcatters Hockey Book 4 ) Another home run right outta the ballpark for Alexa Padgett. From page one I was hooked , I knew without a doubt I was in for another sleepless night . I felt a pull to both Luka and Millie’s characters - I cannot really put into words what it was but the more I got to know both the more I fell in love . Luka is a god on the ice -upcoming star on the Wildcatters Hockey Team . Millie struggles every day with trusting others . Both have not had the easiest of childhoods that caused them to struggle with different insecurities . But that all changes when fate brings them together one night in the most unexpected of ways . The chemistry between them from the very first meeting is off the charts hot . It’s that connection that leads to both spending one passionate night together. But imagine Millie’s surprise when she finds out she is pregnant. And Luka does not react the way she expects - in fact his actions are the complete opposite. Well I really was just taken on the ride of my life and completely blown away in all the best ways . Alexa nailed it and delivered one of the best books I’ve read in quite some time .Another Goal was and is everything, i mean everything. It’s an emotional rollercoaster that plays on all your emotions in ways you won’t even be expecting. You’ll experience everything from being utterly speechless, to yelling outta pure frustration. Your heart will feel like it’s beating so fast and then before you know it being crushed , you’ll be glued to the edge of your seat anticipating what will happen from one second to the next . And you’ll find yourself rooting so freaking hard . I’m typically a dark romance reader , but this was just the change I was looking for . I smiled , I laughed and man did I lose so much sleep

Luka is a hockey hottie who had a sort of date with the girl of his dreams. Every single part of it was incredible. Then…. She ghosted him for a bit but when a shocking turn comes into play can he reunite the passion and make her trust him?

Millie is a cute engineer who had a lot of past trouble with males that lead to her picking herself up from other people but for once Luka breaks her walls down but it’s all to much.

Millie Jones craves adventure, to walk on the wild side for one night without consequences, full well knowing it's something she can never really do... the she meets Luka Stol.

Another Goal is a story of healing, finding love, taking chances, and family. Millie Jones has been living half a life for a while now, not really by her choice, but out of necessity. Her life is complicated thanks to her ex and her trouble making father. She keeps to herself, doesn't date, lives a relatively boring life, and focuses solely on her work. But then she meets Luka and he convinces her to give him one night, she reluctantly agrees, thinking it might be the night she's been craving. And it is, but it's so much more than that, it's a beginning to something she never thought she'd have.

This was a beautifully written story, watching Mille find the freedom she craved and happiness she deserved was quite uplifting and also quite emotional, you better have the tissues nearby cause you'll need them. I wasn't expecting such an emotionally charged story, my emotions were all over the place, this one came with many highs and lows that really did a number on me. Highly recommend this one, it's words are destined to leave their mark on your heart!

It was only supposed to be casual. A way to feed the need.
Millie already had plans to move across the globe but ghosting Luka was not originally in them. however, as feelings began to develop Millie became a runner leaving a very confused Luka behind.
Luka however is not about to give up on the one woman who turned his world upside down.
He just needs to uncover what has her running scared while trying to prove to her that he is her forever
With a little help from her bestie, he is pretty sure he's got this

Luka is hands down a ten-star book boyfriend
He was a young rising hockey star surrounded by puck bunnies
Yeah, he had a reputation.
Whether or not it was earned or even real is for you to decide

Millie was well Millie
She had been betrayed by her previous fiance leaving her pretty much with major trust issues
Toss in a father who viewed the world through green-colored glasses
And I can't blame her for her hesitation
However, Luka was proving he was worth every risk

I liked Luka. His faults, His strengths. His overall character.
Melt my heart.
The banter between these two was cute.
They complimented each other.
I had issues with Millie but they are mine
Dad and the ex needed to be reduced to chum
And I need to grab the previous books in the series
A great cast of characters that I need more of

Another Goal is the 4th book in the Wildcatters series by Alexa Padgett. The characters, Luca Stohl and Millie Jones, are both victims of emotional abuse, and we watch them grow and trust as the story unfurls.

There are parts I loved, and parts that made no sense to me in this story, as the dichotomies are so extreme. Luca and Millie, hockey player and chemical engineer really don’t have a lot in common. He is loyal to his team and friends as he finds and builds a new family structure—she runs off to Shri Lanka to avoid her father and the man she is intended to—which felt a bit extreme. He is forthright in his thoughts and feeling and truthfully, I found her to be a bit of a hummingbird, flitting from flower to flower (or from decision to decision) without any great depth.

That said, the series has been great, and the premise of the story is solid. I wanted to slap Millie a hundred times for her lack of concern beyond her own interests which caused me to lose the story until Luca came through with a solid plot line again. For that, again the story is solid and the friend characters from previous books kept me involved so that the whole package was complete.

I would recommend this book, especially if you have read the series thus far. I’ve LOVED her Seattle Music Series, and Wildcatters are another strong read.

Millie has severe trust issues when it comes to men, and once you read why, you'll understand completely. Luka is the young upcoming star on the Wildcatters hockey team, and until he comes face to face with Millie, love isn't even on his radar. They do come face to face and the sparks are flying, and they end up spending a super hot night together before she moves out of the country for her job. Neither of them can get the other out of their heads, however, she's standing strong because of her trust issues, and then she finds out she's pregnant. I'm not saying she made it easy during that time because it took her a minute to tell him, and the way she did really had me ready to pull my hair out LOL! She was a stubborn girl who deserved the love that Luca had to give but she's definitely a flight risk, but luckily, he's in it to win it. This story was emotional to the extreme because I could feel Millie's pain through the kindle despite the fact that I wanted to shake her more than once, but also there was some humor to have me laughing as she led him on a merry chase, however, he was going to be part of his baby's life no matter what. I loved this story a ton, and there were even some twists to keep me on my toes having to do with Millie's trust issues so I devoured it in short order! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Universal

When Luka sits down next to Millie, the aftermath of that meeting is something neither ever thought likely. But now that he knows, Luka is determined to be there, for her and their to come baby. But will she let him into her heart, not just her baby’s life?

I so was not expecting the rollercoaster these two go on. Though there are plenty of lighthearted moments, there are also suspense and heavier subjects they have to deal with thanks to both her father and ex AND Luka’s upbringing. I adore these two and the family they create for themselves, the way they end up healing each other’s hurts, and the way they fall madly in love.

Another Goal is a captivating and steamy hockey romantic comedy by Alexa Padgett, part of the Wildcatters Hockey series. The novel is set in the high-stakes world of professional hockey, where sparks fly both on and off the ice. The story revolves around Millie and Luka, two characters who have faced adversity in their pasts and have carried the scars of their experiences.

The novel sizzles with chemistry between the main characters, Millie and Luka, as they navigate their way through the challenges of professional sports and the complexities of their relationship.

The book is filled with witty and engaging banter that adds a touch of humor to the otherwise intense and competitive world of professional hockey.

The author effectively captures the excitement and adrenaline of playing in the NHL, making the reader feel immersed in the action and the atmosphere of the games.

The story is both heartwarming and heartbreaking, as Millie and Luka's journey together is filled with ups and downs, making their love story even more compelling and relatable.

Overall, Another Goal is a fantastic read for fans of steamy sports romances and those who enjoy a good mix of humor, chemistry, and heartfelt emotions in their literature. I highly recommend this novel to anyone looking for a fun and engaging read in the hockey romance genre.

Alexa Padgett is a new author to me but I love hockey romances so I was excited to see why she hadn’t crossed my radar before now….well all I’m going to say is I need to play catch up with the Wildcatters Hockey Series. Another Goal is Luka and Millie’s surprise pregnancy romance and its book 4 in the series. Which means I am prove that this book can be read and loved as a standalone.
It was only meant to be one night but one night turned into a week and then Millie headed off to her new job in Sri Lanka. Never expecting to see each other again Millie has to find a way to tell Luka she is pregnant with his child.
I fell hard and fast for Luka but he really stole a piece of my heart when he stepped up to be there every step of the way for Millie. Millie was the woman I would love in my corner but what took this book to the next level was watching Luka show Millie it’s ok to trust. This book touched me on so many levels, it broke my heart and it put me back together again, it made me smile, it has characters I adored and a journey I was happy to be part off. I’m now excited to read more from this very talented author and I’m looking forward to starting the Wildcatters Hockey from book one.
