Join Bekki and the gang for a Christmas special! **This is book 6 in the Bekki the Beautician Cozy Mystery Series but they do not have to be read in order**
Some parts of the book were actually kinda sad when it was revealed that the person who was killed was such an awesome friend to someone in town who had nobody else. Which was Bekki’s main reason she wanted to prove someone else was lying and clear the dead man’s name.
The ending to his story made for such a great Christmas read though then a Merry Christmas was enjoyed by Bekki, her family and friends.
Ok, Bekki was a little overzealous about clearing John's name after the murder that claimed his life. After reading multiple of these books, it's easy to understand the passion that she has to solve the cases, however, she should maybe not go poking a murderer. She works really hard to solve the case and find some type of evidence for Nick to be able to go after the murderer, but she should take a little bit more care.
Nick and Bekki also finally talk about their relationship in this book. Though Bekki's slight fear of rejection is evident throughout the series, she finally voices it to Nick. They were really cute during the book.
Bekki finds herself in the middle of another mystery when a local real estate agent is shot and killed. John is shot by Larry, the dry cleaner, who claimed that he was trying to rob him. Bekki finds it hard to believe and decides to look into the matter. It is almost Christmas and Bekki doesn't want John to be labeled a thief when everything points to him being an upstanding guy.
This is a fun series and I like it that they are short enough to read quickly.
Great Cozy Mystery. A longtime resident is dead at the hands of a newcomer. What is the real story behind the incident? Bekki solves the case, and Nick arrives in time to save Bekki from a killer.
