Things have been relatively calm in the Gloom recently, but my life on the surface has gotten a little crazy.
I’ve managed to finally buy up my entire cul-de-sac and am drafting up plans to turn it into our own little compound for my wives and future children. Ibseth has also given birth to our first son, who I love more than life itself, and Nate and I are ramping up plans to build our shooting range and possibly another surplus store.
My hands are more than full already, but then my lawyer, Travis Meyer, tells me he’s run into a problem with an old nemesis trying to blackmail him.
I've enjoyed the Backyard Dungeon since discovering book one. He manages to create believable characters who act in believable ways inside an unbelievable subterranean world. Good authors count on their readers giving their "willing suspension of disbelief" so the tales can be told. Jacobs makes it easy to accept the impossible, because you want to live Eddie Hill'd s life vicariously.
As usual, he does a good job. Love Scourge and Isbeth. Nice blend of harem family love (not Scourge!) and fantasy adventure. I'm on to the next book!
I've been enjoying this series, it's an easy read and the story flows very well. The hero is just that; a down to earth young man that rises to help the downtrodden and oppressed whenever he sees an injustice he can do something about. I like that in a hero. He also has great relations with a bunch of wives, but the story isn't an erotica novel, and the super sexy scenes are not what the books are about. I really enjoy the relationships he has developed with the characters in the Gloom and of course Scourge is my fave. A strong series that I hope continues as long as the author has room to spin the tale.
You've been around this long in the series so not much to say. Honestly. I feel there are so many people they're all spread a little thin with time for them. But it's still overall a solid story and pushes the plot forward. It's a little more heavy with surface world stuff in terms of importance, though he is down in the gloom for a bit.
Definitely a big tease for the next book at the end. Still invested enough to keep reading its about 3.5 stars for me but still always solid work so I put it at 4.
This is my all time favorite series! As soon as kindle updated, I saw it pop up and was like "hell yeah!" man I hope this keeps going, I dread the day it ends so please don't stop until we get to about 50 books!!!! Thank you creating a series that I just can't put down!
Due to the extremely fast paced and critical information I deal with I have a great deal of stress and one of my favorite releases is escaping into a good story. Backyard Dungeon provides me so much enjoyment and I can’t wait for the next installment. Cheers to Logan
This storyline has always intrigued me. To show that the surface world is just as messed up as the underground. This is one of, if not, the best in the series. You have them doing something that all of us would love to be part of. Keep up the good work.
I enjoyed this book so much. The belt is an amazing item and I see how it will keep the story fresh and lead to a huge increase in the plot.I hope to see the vacation in the books that revolved around the beach vaction.Thank you for your hard work.till next book. Be well
A very good 12th book of the story. New characters and areas keep the excitement fresh. Logan Jacobs style is very good and I highly recommend this series and probably all of his books. I have read three different series of his and I am impressed with the quality.
These cliff hangers kill me loved this one alot got done sadly felt like such a short book. Was able to finish it in an afternoon but that might be cuz i was so invested in it.
I love the growth of the MC. He's gotten a lot more mature over the series. The women are still hot, and the story itself just gets better and better. As always, I will impatiently be waiting for the next book.
Eddie is not just protecting the Underdark now he is taking down drug dealers in the outer world also. While working hard to get all of his wives pregnant.
Can it get any better? The 12th book doesn’t fail to deliver excellent suspense and more than a few tense moments in both worlds. Can’t wait to see where Logan is going with Book 13!
Eddie and his friends take down a drug dealer to get his lawyer out of trouble. This story has great action,, adventure and posts of spice! It was a fun read that kept me turning pages! Bring on the next book!
Yet another awesome book from Logan Jacobs! My only problem is waiting until the next one co!we out! Mr. Jacobs, keep up the wonderful work, can't wait for book 13!
Enjoyed having more time on the surface and some interesting new creatures met in the underdark. Cool little twist at the end that I am really looking forward to seeing in the next book.
Usually story lines become thin and predictable in the twelfth book in a series. This book established several excellent new plot lines. Great writing with real potential for more. Very well done.
Absolitly l9v3r this book I always love your books the story is easy to follow and keeps you hooked the entire time and the characters even the assholes are very well done
