I don't often read YA books, but if there's two things that will hook me, it's ghosts AND 90s references. I look forward to reading the rest of the series! #supportlocalauthors

The Kind of Book That HAVE to Find Out What Happens Next

I love the whole concept of this book!! The different ideas of ghosts and the paranormal and how they interact with us as society. A good mystery is my jam too, so the whole thing was right up my alley!!! I really want to know if they find out anymore about Christopher and his POOF, guess I’ll have to wait for the next one.

I loved this book! The characters were so much fun and relatable. I especially enjoyed all of the 90s references, which made me think about how much society had changed and stayed the same since then. It also made me nostalgic for a time I’ve never experienced, much like how “Stranger Things” makes people nostalgic for the 80s. This is a great read for anyone who wants a “pick me up” that will, at the same time, allow one to reflect on grief, family, and the ever-changing aspects of society.

This was a great, unique and heartwarming YA story about a teenage girl getting a grip on her newfound afterlife and dragging her very much alive twin along for the ride. It was filled with 90's nostalgia, from the iconic dial-up internet tone, waiting for pictures to load, and cell phones with antenna! It gave scooby doo vibes with a twisty-turny mystery, meddlesome teens, and colorful characters! It was a fun read!

This isn't my usual cup of tea but I got an audiobook freebie so I figured I'd give it a shot and I LOVED it. As an elder-millennial, I loved the 90s setting. The whole thing felt like Nancy Drew meets Ghostbusters in the best way. The characters were fun and the dialog followed smoothly, which is important to me. I'm really glad I tried this and excited to check out book #2.

Great YA mystery!!

If you grew up in the 90s or just love that culture, you should definitely read this book. The pop culture references were fantastic!!
Add in a great mystery, and I was hooked. I read this book in one sitting! Pick it up now. You won’t regret it.
