Just when you think it can't get scarier... Dez and Sully got stuck in a ghost town /0\
This was a fantastic story: fast-paced and tense, and with just enough humour to let you breathe between creepy moments. I loved the concept of the story and that Sully and Dez weren't alone in fighting this terrifying soul devourer.
This time they were facing the most dangerous ghost they had ever encountered; everybody was in deep danger more than once and I felt afraid for all of them until the end, fearing not everybody would come alive from this fight.
Getting to know more about Jack's past was great, and having Wray show up unannounced because she couldn't stand by when her friends were in danger, well... that's Wray for you *smiles happily*
So, in short, another amazing story in this series that keeps improving one book at a time.

Another amazing adventure for Sully and Dez
Awesome book. Another great adventure for Sally and Dez. In a very interesting location. This time a ghost town, definitely worth reading. The author does a great job of describing the scenery without having pages of description to weed through. It really makes you feel like you're there. Plus you get to see one my favorite characters again, Jack. I loved getting to hear more about his origins and his past before becoming a reaper. I would definitely like to see more of him in the future. Even a book of his own, maybe something to do with his hunting days with his partner before he died. A break off series about his days as a lawman would be amazing!

Another wonderful Braddock & Gray Case Files book. And this one was perfect for around Halloween. The ghost town that Dez & Sully had to take refuge in from a big storm should have had more ghosts. There was something “off” about the town. There was something “off” about the husband and wife who owned the town too. When things got complicated, they called on a couple friends for help. This book was creepy, exciting, and surprising. The plot and characters are excellent, and the flow took me from start to finish too quickly. I couldn’t wait to find out how it would all turn out, but now that I’m finished, I want more Dez, Sully, and the odd circumstances in which they always find themselves.

H.P. Bayne is one of my favorite authors. I love Sully and Dez and the way trouble seems to find them. After getting stuck during a landslide, they walk to a ghost town to spend the night. I always look forward to finding out where the duo are going to be in each book. The settings are as diverse as the brothers. I would definitely recommend it to readers who enjoy paranormal mysteries. I received an advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.

One of Bayne’s Best!
Of course the book is about ghosts, but this one is a terrific example of building tension so the reader feels the same anxieties as the characters. Plot twists are unexpected but completely believable due to the set ups throughout the book. Great story line and insight into reaper Jack’s history. A thoroughly delightful read!

Another thrilling ride with Sully and Des from H.P. Bayne.
Smashed it again.
Couldn't put it down once I started, there was a few hairy moments where I thought this is it for Sully, however he made it through again..
Can't wait for Sully, Des, Jack and the rest of the gangs next spooky adventure..

Wonderful reading
Always glad when a new read of H.P. BAYNE comes out with Sulley and Dez.
Feels like I'm a part of their family because I'm drawn into their stories. Always recommend to folks who ask for good reads to check out the Sullivan Grey and Braddock & Gray series.

My favorite series!
This book was excellent! Dez & Sully end up stranded in a ghost town by a storm. The ghost they come up against is the worst Sully has dealt with. Jack comes to help. I love Jack, so that was an added bonus to an already fantastic book. Can’t wait for the next book!!

Don’t miss this series! this may be the best book yet!
I’ve read all 15 books in this series along with the spin-offs and I can’t believe H.P. Bayne can keep them all fresh and exciting. This one is one of my favorites. It brings in a lot of characters I’ve grown to love along with some surprises, and I could not put it down! Highly recommended!

Love when old friends come back!!
The "old western theme" was a cool! The Town provided the PERFECT backdrop for the quintessential battle of an 1800's, Good vs Evil, Ultimate Showdown this side of the O.K. Corral. Sully and Dez, along with their fellow spirit warriors, did what they had to do. In the process they brought healing to centuries old wounds!

I just love these books, I say it every time and it's as true for this as it was for the last. This one is a particularly really good story. It involves Jack the reaper, Wray, Jack's mum and a couple whose got a connection to Sutton Hill. The ghost is a particularly nasty and powerful one, they struggle, but win, if only just. As ever it's cracking.

I really enjoyed this particular book more then some of the others, not to say the other books are not good, they were excellent too!!It is just this one was to me Sooo Good. Love this Series and of course Sully & Dez!!

Whenever I think there can’t be more for Sully and Dez, H. P. Bayne pulls out another perfect story. I can’t believe how much I love these characters, including Jack, Aiden, and Flynn. I loved this story. It was edge-of-the-seat intense but it had a fantastic ending. I loved every word of it!

Best Yet
I have read and eagerly await each new book. This is a great series and how she keeps coming up with new cases is incredible. I do have to say that this one is my favorite to date and getting to know Reaper Jack's story was a plus.

Gripping Page-turner
I really enjoyed the character development with Jack, a very interesting figure that we haven’t had a chance to get to know. This book has one at the edge of one’s seat and doesn’t disappoint!

This is another great addition to the Braddock and Gray Case Files. Sully and Dez encounter a spirit unlike any they have before. Old wrongs are addressed and friendships are strengthened.

Didn’t know the settings could get any more unusual/ spookier yet Heather managed it! Without any spoilers I loved getting to know one of the newer characters in even more depth and definitely did see the twists coming. Highly recommend!
