There are some helpful things and it’s nice to see a glimpse of the past but some of this is pretty outdated. Most of this you can get better, more updated answers with a quick internet search.
It is a quick, easy read though and does go into more detail about slaughtering chickens for food than most modern articles offer (unless you specifically search for that.) I do like it’s more matter of fact, less judge mental instruction better than some of the newer books and websites lean toward.
Overall a decent overview for slightly bigger property operations. Most can be adapted to fit smaller urban backyards.
