I’m TR Cameron, science fiction author. I’ve been an avid consumer of the genre since I was six, I think, when I broke the seal on my Dad’s copies of the Asimov Foundation books. It’s been all downhill since then.
I have a day job that I love most days, and writing is pretty much my only consistent hobby. When I find time that’s not already filled with my wife, my daughter, my writing, my work, or dodging the affections of our clowder of cats, you can find me playing video games (currently Dishonored 2 – I’m a little behind the times on this one), watching things (Marvel movies, American Gods, Agents of Shield, Justified, The Expanse, Gotham), playing board games, or, naturally, reading.
My favorite authors in Sci-Fi are David Weber, Jean Johnson, John Scalzi, CJ Cherryh, and the giants: Asimov, Pohl, Bear, Heinlein, etc. I read a lot in other genres too, and am a big fan of Matthew Woodring Stover, Michael Anderle, Jim Butcher, and I could go on and on and on. If I had to choose one favorite, though, it would be Stephen R. Donaldson, whose Thomas Covenant series was transformative for me.
Probably my pie-in-the-sky dream for my writing career is that someone would make a movie or television show of my books and I could be a part of the production. Sure, unlikely, but a clowder-dodger can dream, right? My more practical dream is that I can keep writing and both entertaining and connecting with my readers for years and years to come.

2.5 ☆ may rate higher if you like action set pieces... but a lot of her personal time forays I the early books gave me "police brutality" twinges. The banter between family and coworkers gets pretty repetitive too.
No character development & bludgeons you with so-called humour
I picked up this book because I thought the storyline looked interesting. Straight from the start there was no explanation of why the main character was living in two different places & doing several different jobs. The whole thing was patched together from 3 (at minimum) different stories - then another one was randomly introduced. When I realised that there were 3 different authors it made sense. There is no exploration of why Cait does what she does, why she lives so many different lives or why anyone would want to know her as she has no character, but then again neither does anyone else. Her work colleagues have one characteristic each, like one has good hair, one has children, one dresses like a goth etc. Apart from that they are one dimensional, a literal background. There is a weird sort of romance in the middle, again entirely superficial, where they just like each other's looks and nothing else, mainly because they don't have anything else. The thing that really grated was the "humour". Every remark had to be qualified with a 'chuckle' or 'snort', to show that it was supposed to be humorous, as the reader obviously couldn't work that out, and usually it wasn't humorous at all. Heavy dig in the ribs every. single. time. So annoying and made me truly dislike this humourless one dimensional character. And the number of times she said "shut it" to Aza.....no other phrase available? Plus why not at least run the Irish parts past someone Irish? Surely not that difficult to do. For example: do Irish people eat muffins at breakfast? And no mention of the Church in a famously Catholic country, which would surely have a view on a bunch of witches..... Definitely won't be reading anything by this collective again
I almost gave up on this omnibus several times. I like books with action, but it seems like the authors were writing their own books, not a collaboration between the two. I enjoyed Cait and her dragon and their escapades, but having her involved in five different problems all at the same time was a bit ridiculous....even for a "super" witch. I don't think that the ending tied things up IMO there were several questions still unanswered and unresolved. That's the reason for the three stars. I don't plan on reading the books about Cait's sister, and maybe some of the answers are in them, so I guess I will let them go. All in all a good read, even if it's very busy.
A lot of pages of reading. The characters are interesting the plot is solid. The magic is consistent and everything basically fits nicely. The criminals are somewhat shallow and the witches are all over powered. The main character dances in a gray area that any smart law enforcement officer would avoid.
There are many cyber action sequences in the digital world described. They are pointless and really don't work all that well.
The story is fairly predictable.
All in all, not bad. Worth a read if you are looking for a nice lengthy read.
Okay, hero id you must. Being 2 days older than dirt, heroine is how I learned it. Great central character with an ensemble cast fit for her friends and family as well as enemies. I have numerous individual books and collections by these three, and have enjoyed them all. Read this collection cover to cover over several days, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Please do yourself the favor of perusing its pages. You will not find the activity remiss. Buon fortuna, Poet!!
This story has everything right from the start when Cait is such a strong witch determined to live in the real world. Working in law enforcement she keeps getting deeper and deeper into the supernatural side as her skills draw her deeper into keeping things right. Being partnered with a Dragon doesn't slow her down and his whit adds to it. She manages to make everything work though and I found this hard to put down once I started.
I like the way the characters grow. The humour, especially Aza, the dragon has a wicked sense of humour. Each book, follows the previous one, making one story. Although they are separate books, they are not stand a lone stories. Some of the spelling and grammar is of, but on the whole it was an exciting thrill ride, until the end, that could have been better constructed.
The story was good, but it took the whole 12 books to do it. The individual books left you hanging with no conclusions. If I didn’t have Kindle Unlimited, I would not have bought the rest of the books after the first one.
Sabrina seems to be on Abby from NCIS. And some of the other characters you can see are from other universes. But it was good since I did have Kindle Unlimited
“Witch Warrior Complete Series, Boxed Set” is a wonderful ride into a contemporary, parallel universe that is much more fun and adventurous than ours. Anderle, Cameron, and Carr bring yet another Oricen/Earth saga. Get it, enjoy it, and as always with these authors, dream of it. They deal in the realm of “What If?” A friendly caution- their works are addictive, as are all of those by Anderle and Company…
Took a little while Started this one and found it a little harder to get into (book one) than previous ones by these authors but that didn’t last long!! Lots of threads intertwined, some familiar characters, lots of snark and hilarity in amongst the battles and enemies to deal with. Looking forward to more adventures with the family….and more dragons!!!
If you like witches and dragons, this series has an abundance of both! Cait (1 of the witches) and Aza (1 of the dragons) have a partnership that entertains, intrigues and just plain works! Cait has a number of irons in the fire that require serious coordination to work, but the story arc doesn't disappoint!
When I first started reading, I wasn't sure I would finish. But alas, I got hooked on the characters and the plight of each. The humor thrown in from the family dynamite's and of course the dragon and his inner action with his partner. So I binged read the whole set. Thank you for the adventures with these books.
The plot grows book by book. Filled with rich characters that blossom as the storylines become even more interesting. A wonderful writer like a stream with twists and turns as the water flows . Don't miss these books because they keep your attention with great stories that need reading every day.
I really liked this series. Enough that I will be reading more by the authors. The heroine is feisty, strong, capable, trained,, and not too tripped up by her morality, but constrained just enough by it to make her a good person. Can’t wait to r was more.
Fun Intriguing stories the main character is strong yet very vulnerable at the same time. Her family and friends all are very Intelligent and funny too. They all say unexpected things as well as do things unexpectedly. If you like crazy smart Characters and quirky worlds? I recommend these books they're very enjoyable.
Beyond compare,it took me a long time to finish. The characters were clear and beautifully crafted. It was engrossing and compelling in its story and characters. A delight to enjoy and hope for of the same with the series with Asling.
It's a good story but moves slower than molasses in winter. Multiple storylines start in the first book and drag on forever. No book or story is complete. Should have given it a 1 star rating but did enjoy the overall concept.
This series is a fun read with plenty of action. Expect dragons, magic and fighting criminals/villains who look to use both in their battles against the good guys.
This book and the previous ones in the series are page turners. I loved the characters and the way the author wove all their stories together. Definitely recommend this box set.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was that I found it hard to keep up with all the different characters especially when they were sometimes called by first names and sometimes surnames - confusing. But a very exciting story.
I read 6 of the supposed "books". Each one was just built on the same story line with NO RESOLUTION! I absolutely hate serials that are passed of as a series. Cannot bring myself to read the other half. will not read more from this author!
Wolves and dragons and criminals oh my! But seriously this is another good series set in the Ocerican universe. Diana's group appears but most of it takes place in Boston and Ireland.
This is a really exciting story. It has everything you could want. There are witches, dragons, werewolves and criminal gangs. Heck there are even assassin's. And there's hints of romance here and there as well. I can't wait to check out other stories in this universe.
Wow so much fun cancel all your plans you’re not going to want to put this series down. Magicals, dragons, werewolves, trolls and witches with a side of assassins on steroids just amazing. So get reading and join in the chaos.
The diverse characters, especially Aza, were intriguing & interesting. The stories occurred in countries & other worlds with humor as well as turmoil. Do enjoy it as I did.
The books were good but entirely too long - 12 books. The main characters was working on at least a dozen different challenges. The books would be great if they were separated and made into a series. Each, or two, of Cait's challenges could be made into separate books.
