From one strength to another, Callie’s relationship with her Daddies is growing exponentially. Not only has she found the kind of love she’s always dreamed of, it seems that love is contagious, connecting both Elias and Evander together as well.
Balanced between her Dark Daddy and her Golden one, she finds peace in their embrace, safety in their kisses. When her Daddies hold her, the horrors of her childhood don’t haunt her as deeply.
Her lessons in trust are tested when an unwelcome face from the past intrudes on her newfound happiness, resurrecting buried memories and old terrors.
Will she pass the ultimate test?
Lesson In Trust is the first book in a new BDSM series, interconnected with Club Avalon. This is a Daddy Dom/menage romance and may contain scenes unsuitable for some readers.
Part 2 of Callie, Elias, and Evander’s story was an emotional ride, filled with the ups and downs of Callie’s past trauma and experience coming to play in her current budding relationships with her two daddies. The patience and understanding of these men as well as their firm hands and discipline methods will make Callie find her true self. Eli’s past is coming into play and I just know it’s going to become a huge issue. As well as Daniel’s ugliness and brutality, the twist in his part of this story is very surprising. Love this threesome and I’m cheering for their HEA ❤️
Omg! What an emotional mess I am! After reading Lesson In Trust, I needed more of Evander, Callie and Elias. And this continued story?! So much more than I ever could have hoped for! The depth of emotions I felt while reading this story is unreal. I didn’t even fathom that I could fall more in love with this trio, but I completely did. Eli and Evander continue to show Callie her worth and how special she is and how much they love her just the way she is. She has had a traumatic upbringing, but these two are bound and determined to show her how much they want and love her. My heart hurt, melted, fell in love and lust and cheered for these three so much so, that I refused to believe that they wouldn’t end up blissfully happy. The patience, kindness and love these two Daddies showed for their Little and woman, will obliterate your heart into pieces. I am so in love with these three, it’s hard to even explain in words. Let’s not even start on the sizzling chemistry between these three…I swear my Kindle almost caught on fire!! This author continues to prove to me why I love her and her incredible stories. I’m looking forward to reading more about them in this new series. A brilliant story that will make you cry and smile!
After knowing each other for 5 minutes we are supposed to believe they are in this epic love story where they are already pressuring her to have a baby the day of the wedding. The treatment of her best friend by the male leads, who are virtual strangers to both women, is horrible. They also plan her whole life including her wedding, amongst strangers, without consulting her at all. Of course she said yes. Between the love bombing and the honeymoon phase of only knowing these men for 2 weeks, it's not a surprise that someone with no self esteem wants to marry them. Wait a year and get to know these people first, duh. There is also a scene where they drug her by telling her what she is taking is Ibuprophen buts it's actually sleeping pills that they already forced her to take once before and she didnt like it. This series is super irresponsible. If I could give it less than 1 star I would.
Evander, Elias and Callie have only known each other for a short time, but this trouple have recognized that together they are perfect for one another. These two Doms (and one of them even a Sadist) have also learned about being Daddies for their sweet Callie girl. I love how we get more information on Elias and his history. And even though these three are perfect for each other, they're not perfect people and make mistakes and apologize and adjust and keep learning more about each other. I especially loved the give and take between Elias and Evander and how they navigated the changing within their own relationship as best friends, boss/employee and now husbands to Callie, but also to each other. My only complaint was HOW DARE YOU END IT THERE???? Okay, yes the main story arc wrapped up, but there is so much more I need. Gimme, gimme, gimme.
This is part two of a duet, if you have not read part one start there. Callie, Elias, and Evandar decide to take their relationship to the next level and get married. They have a ton of marriage prep that is aided and supported by the club Avalon team. You will definitely understand the character dynamics more if you are familiar with those stories but you can figure everything out well enough with the writing.
Elias's family secrets are revealed but not resolved here and suspect will continue to grow in the next book in this series. Callie further embraces her Little half and learns to trust herself and her husbands more. Evandar and Elias also learn a new level of trust and intimacy with each other.
Kay always writes great stories with good character development and the right mix of suspense and steam.
Ok, I thought part one was hot and endearing, but part two gave me feels that made have happy tears and then emotions that I felt how hurt Callie was by her past. I get the never having a birthday recognized it sucks. To unexpectantly have not one or even two people who saved you from a life sadness, but to have the big one, Evander, recognize that his best buddy, Elias, needed it to. That two most Dominant men could be what one Little girl needed and be men enough to admit it. There will be twists and turns, uncomfortable moments of awkwardness and an abundance of love from the all the Doms/Daddies and their Littles/subbies. You definitely need to read part 2.
This is the second piece of Callie and Elias and Evander's story, so be sure to read book one first. Trust me, you do not want to miss out on one single second of this awe-inspiring tale. I'll warn you ahead of time, there is absolutely no way you are reading this book and A. Not having your temperature go through the roof and B. Having your heart feel like it has been put through a meat grinder and that is simply because steam is scorching, the sweetness is poignant, and the emotions and feels are raw and extreme.
I expected a second part of this story with bells and whistles. But what Ms Parker produced is a ... I don't know what to call it...!? In the beginning Callie, Evander and Elias are slowly getting to know each other. Carefully trying to bring Callie out of her destructive thought patterns. The whole Avalon family is tip-toeing in between her triggers and her Daddies are doing their loving best - and deviously luscious worst - to, and for her. But in between the fun and games more and more of the tragic stories, of not just her life, come to light. Ms Parker slowly ramps up the revelations until you just vibrate between anger, sadness and "other" feelings, throws in an explosive M/M relationship - to make the top of your head lift up - and when you think everything is going to be nice, and spicy, and happily ever after - she throws a corker of a curveball and got me expletives spewing, almost crashing my tablet against the wall! And now the wait begins again...
I'm truly at a lose for words so I'm just winging this review. This is part two of book one. Callie has suffered badly by a past Dom and it seems that her two Daddies, Evander and Elias, make her fell safe. The guys all know about what she has suffered and work to help her overcome the abuse she went through. The story is intense and there could possibly be triggers so be warned. I cried, I laughed and then I cried some more. Seeing the members of Avalon come together to help Callie out was amazing. I loved how Connie was with her and I loved the silliness of the other subs! And I sure didn't expect that twist towards the end! This story was one I've been waiting for as part one was just their beginning. I'm excited for this new series and happy that one of the Masters from Avalon will be going to the new series!! YAY! If you wanna know who that is, well you need to get this and read it!! It's so good, you won't want to put it down!
I love how Callie is so protected and loved by her Daddy's Evander and Elias. Boy it has been a whirlwind romance they're talking marriage and babies, but the guys soon find Callie has hidden scars and triggers they didn't know about. A captivating story of a strong young lady who definitely has little inside her who comes out more and more to help her overcome her fear and anxiety, herself worth, and mostly allowing her to live again. An emotional story as Evander and Elias shows her their love, they cherish her and show each other what it means to be one as a whole. Parts of this book were so emotional as she deals with her past trauma and uplifting to see Callie come out of her shell, to start to feel worthy of their love and devotion from her Daddy's. I voluntarily read and reviewed this great story!
What a beautiful story, it is more than Callie’s story it is also about Evander and Elias’ journey and relationship. Watching Callie’s transformation at the hands of these two men is amazing! She is not completely there but the change is night and day. The inclusion of all the Avalon crew was so well done and Connie especially has an amazing effect on Callie. The twists at the end were unexpected to say the least but offer so much anticipation for future books and relationships. Very exciting. There are some really emotional parts to the story some beautiful, some not so much but nonetheless adding to the overall story. Kay Elle Parker is a storyteller who doesn’t shy away from difficult subjects but still manages to leave her readers satisfied and eager to read the next story about Club Serenity. A great read.
Kay has gone and done it again. This was another brilliant, amazing, tear jerking story from an author I have come to love. This story had me all up in my feels. It was truly amazing, and I can't say enough about it. I was laughing, happy, crying, and so sad in some spots. I am so happy with the way this story turned out. It is everything I was hoping for and more. The only thing I can think to complain about is the fact that Eli, and Evander didn't get to deal with Daniel in the end. I think I would have liked to have read a scene where they both dealt him the justice he so richly deserved. But it is also nice to know that Callie won't ever have to look over her shoulder for him again. There were a couple threads left dangling in this book. I can't wait to see how it all unfolds in the future books in this series. I'm so excited for them!
I have no words right now. Literally, I don't have any words to describe how I'm feeling at this moment. I've just finished reading the second part of Lesson In Trust by Kay Elle Parker. Let me just say that Kay has created yet another masterpiece. The continuation of Evander, Elias, and Callie's story is truly magical. It has all of the things that I enjoy reading, including romance and suspense. This story even has a few surprises that you'll never see coming. To say that I'm completely ecstatic about this book would be an understatement. If you haven't already purchased the book, I strongly encourage you to do so. Trust me, you'll thank me later. Congratulations on another fabulous story, Kay, I cannot wait until the next one!
I was really pumped to continue reading the story of Evander, Callie, and Elias. Book one of Lesson in Trust was awesome, even though it ended in a cliffhanger, and the only reason that Lesson in Trust: Book Two didn't receive 5 stars is because I also feel that it ended on another cliffhanger. Also, it begins where Book One left off...without much of a lookback to refresh my memory. That being said: I LOVE this throuple! (Is that the right word?) Callie is so wounded, yet so strong at the same time. Elias has been secretly in love with Evander for years, and the gang from Club Avalon was a part of the mix too! The wedding was beautiful. Now, I am on tenterhooks waiting to see what will happen with Elias' rotten Irish mob father... and just waiting for the next!
Lesson in Trust (Part 2) is the second book in the Club Serenity series. This story gave me all the feels (gasp, laugh, cry). Kay Elle Parker writes books that expand my understanding of BDSM and the roles of trust, and communication. There I am with a drink a fan, and tissues knowing I'm going to hit a point that challenges my emotions and personal limits. And yet, Parker's writing guides me through acceptance of the kinks of others as long as there are established and mutually agreed upon boundaries, grounded in safety, and consensual play.
This book is beautifully written. Evander and Elias and Callie's relationship evolves through the book, and the beloved characters from Club Avalon come in and celebrate the trio in such a lovely way. Trust is learned by all three of them. Lessons in Trust is a duet, and neither book is a stand alone. The trilogy will be complete in 2024, and I wait with bated breath. It is absolutely worth the one click.
I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
I loved this book as much as the first. I feel so much for Callie. The ability Elle Kay Parker has in including the passion, pain and love from the group from Club Avalon. The way this series is developing into another new series is fantastic. This new series will be just as amazing. I can't wait for the next installment to see where this series goes. I hated getting to the end because now I have to wait for the next in the series. I adore Club Avalon and all the characters and hopefully this will continue for a long time.
Two daddies, one little. I liked the first book in the series enough to buy this one. Disappointed.
I would get mad as hell if someone forced my to spend the time before my wedding with eight strangers. Seems to be no respect for her background, wishes or needs, just what the others at the club want. The daddies know she has trouble standing up for herself and do absolutely nothing to stand up for her. Add in the fact that they threaten the one friend she has and they come off as borderline abusive instead of caring.
Love how you get to see all three characters in this book come together and be a true triad! When Evander finally gives into what Elias has wanted for so long it is VERY steamy! I also loved seeing even more of the Avalon family in this one! And I especially loved the hint of how Alicia is as a mother! I admit to wondering how she would be after the last Avalon book. . .
I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait for the next one! Especially since it will be Tabitha's story!!
What a wonderful read, going on this journey with this group is absolutely wonderful. Watching Callie grow every day and even Eli and Evander. This story is filled with love, and smiling moments, e.g., forts, stuffies, cupcakes and naps! Really good twists throughout the story as well. I'm so impatient to have to wait for the conclusion now. it's a wonderful story and I highly recommend. "Given, not taken."
Kay did awesome in completing Callie's story. There a few twists and surprises you are expecting that keeps you interested in turning the pages to the end. Evander and Elias have their hands full with Callie's Little becoming stronger but they do an awesome job as a united front. Always nice to read about the Avalon characters too. So looking forward yo the next installment.
This finishes the first chapter of Club Serenity -- Callie's romance story with Eli and Evander.
Excellent and very, very intense.
You have to really appreciate the author's strong focus on characters with horrible, horrible backstories in order to get into these books. That is not for everyone, to be sure.
Lots of erotica, lots of romance, lots of dealing with pain. Also a lot of buildup for the ongoing story arc.
This was epic just beautiful I am in love with this new series, the Author brings out the big guns and let me tell you she is amazing with a talent that consumes you with her stories and words and makes you feel all the things.
Evander, Elias, and Callie's story is truly phenomenal these daddies know how to look after their girl and I mean everything. The love that pours off the pages will have you melting especially when you find out more secrets and truths, I laughed I cried and my heart is so full. God I don't even know what to say but read this beautiful trio oh and we get to hear from friends from Avalon yay!!!!!
This story took me in and hasn’t let go yet.. well, partly because I have to wait a few months for the next book. But mostly because the way it’s written. It just scooped you up and takes you on a whirlwind of emotions. One things is clear though.. the chemistry between these THREE is off the charts hot! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The tension, the anxiety, the tears and the love surges will trap you!
Kay Elle Parker is a magical story teller! I am so deeply caught in the neck of this intriguing series I can’t leave it be! The characters are so real in my mind along with the settings that just compound the experience. It is so mind boggling! I can’t wait to continue reading.
The connection between Club Avalon and the beginnings of Club Serenity are seamless. Evander was the contractor for the Avalon rebuild and now he is building a club outside of Denver. He is also a new Daddy to a traumatized Little with his friend, Elias, and neither have a clue what to do. Atticus, from Avalon, is a fountain of information.
It was exciting and sweet and sad but loving and beautiful at the same time. 🥰 It's lovely how they both supported her and cared for her and protected her. But also really beautiful and SEXY that her Daddies realised their feelings and connected on a deeper level too... 🫶🏻💜🥳🎉
Finally, finally the second part of that story. Obviously it is not a standalone, Lesson in Trust part One needs to be read before this one. I was so waiting for the book, and it was worth the wait ! Between past experiences and present challenges, Callie, Elias and Evander have a lot to overcome and it was an intense and emotional read. As usual, Kay Elle Parker's writing is flawless, the characters building is fantastic and the way the story ends is just diabolical.
Holy hotness. Just when you think things couldn't get more intense with Callie and Evander and Elias they take it to next level. Absolutely love the emotions these three have. Highly recommend this one. Impatiently waiting for more... A(++
