Born in Southern Ontario, Aquila was raised on the outskirts of a small town. With nothing to do, she took to reading historical romance novels and vowed to write a book of her own one day. Fast forward 28 years and she did just that with her first Contemporary Romance titled Moonlit Night and a Series to follow. She still lives in that small town where she was born, her escape is within the pages of her writings
Heaven and Hell is a spicy paranormal novella by Aquila Thorne. This book was fast paced and entertaining from the very first pages. I devoured it in one sitting. If you love fantasy and paranormal reads but don't have enough time to commit to a long series, this is perfect for you. It may be short, but it gives you everything you want from a great fantasy and leaves you with a perfect happily ever after.
The premise of this book was very intriguing. Ava and Noah are in love, but their love is not meant to be as theirs lives are tragically cut short. One is sent to heaven and the other to hell, so they are destined to spend eternity apart. Well, that is until Satan and God have use for them, and they find themselves together again on a mission to help God and Satan keep the earth from complete destruction.
This book was hilarious, endearing, spicy, and had a great storyline!
Quick and fast paced. The lovers tragically die the same day. One goes to Heaven and the other goes to Hell. He can't move on, while she's living it up doing errands for Satan. Fate brings them back together to do the errands of Heaven and Hell. But will Satan himself trick them and win? One of the biggest reasons I love Aquila's books is that she includes animals. Everyone needs a furry friend!
Love this book read this all in one sitting. I couldn’t put it down. Had some spicy to keep me hooked but also I loved the fact that it had twists and turns to it too. Had me always wanting to know what’s next.
Who know you could cheer for the right hand of Satan!?! This short read knocks it out of the park! Ava is a badass not to be messed with and Noah is her soft place to fall.
DNFed at 20%, and frankly I forced myself to read that much. It was confusing and rambling and for such a short book I don’t see how it was going to go anywhere.
Average read. Plot was simple nothing too fancy or difficult to understand. Decent read when between book series and needing a paranormal romance "fix".
This is a short, spicy, paranormal novella. I love all things paranormal so I was excited to get to read this after I’ve read all of Aquila’s other books. I was hooked from the first page. The book was a quick read and fast paced. But so full of life. Ava and Noah are so in love but their lives get cut short. However we get to see them brought back together on a mission to save the earth. I am a beta and ARC reader for Aquila Thorne and have enjoyed reading all of her books.
