So, VotM was my first introduction to Stuart Bray, and what a fucking introduction that was!! So much so that I ended up buying everything he wrote,(I've even read almost all of them now!) 😁
And when I saw that he had written a sequel, well, I had to have it!!

If you thought Paul was bad in VotM, he aint got nothing on this guy! 😉

Meet Lucas! Lucas is causing mayhem, carnage and trauma to anyone he meets, and his little brother Asher, is unwillingly along for the ride! A ride that will see minds and bodies broken, torn apart, and beat the shit out of!

Lucas is a wanted man, he's on the run. With the moral support of his brother he feels invincible and gives absolutely no fucks! He's also on a very particular mission, one person, one priest in particular is going to feel the full force of his wrath when he finds him, and anyone else that dares to stand in his way!

Lucas is insane, deluded and intent on causing as much pain as possible, in the most brutal, barbaric ways. He's so vile he literally made my blood boil! Is he the way he is because of the abuse he suffered at the hands of the church as a kid? Was he just born that way? Is it jealousy, or guilt? The guilt of the events of his childhood, eating away at him all these years, nibbling away at his mind, causing cracks and crevices in his sanity! None of which has been helped by the visions and one sided conversations he has on a daily basis.

And woe betide anyone (and their family) who doesn't get their facts right!!! Nobody is safe, no matter how innocent they may be!

Father Credo is a despicable excuse for a holy man, only happy when he's abusing people, youngsters mostly! His grandkids want him gone so they can inherit his money. But they have competition, they aren't alone in wanting this abhorrent human being gone for good. And they are going to be made to pay for his wicked ways when unbridled horror comes knocking!

The depravity in this story is turned up to MAX and then some!! Daddy issues and jealousy make for some nasty, vindictive and creative torture and kills. And the twists and turns were great! Stuart lulls you along for a while, thinking you've got it sussed, and then throws in a few mind games to up the ante! Great stuff! Fast paced, full on action, blood and nastiness right from the off, that pulls you along, kicking and screaming to an excellent finish!!

HOLD ON TIGHT!!!! (TIGHTER THAN THAT!!!!) 😁

Horrible, depraved, psychotic main character? Check
Unhinged violence? Check
Catholic priest? Check
Meghin? Check
Mique? Check
What more could you ask for?

The character Meghin sounds hot. And insane.

This book deserves a fist bump (…ha ha)

I thought violence on the meek was horrific, but book 2 blows up in a whole new level ...... somehow, the main character is even more depraved, and the violence is next level...... a fantastic read!

it really does exist!!!!

I have finally found the most F’d up thing I’ve ever read… and I absolutely loved it! Mr. Bray is one of the best story tellers in this genre and is in my top three favorites. I will read every single word this man puts on paper!!! Thank you Stuart for another great read!

I couldn’t keep my attention focussed on this story. It was graphic, but not the same vibe as the first book in the series. I felt the characters just weren’t as well thought out and “Violence on the Meek” 1 was just better in my opinion.

A good dose of Ultraviolence.
If you want fast paced, gore, action packed and sexual to a new degree you will be served.
Sadly I still prefer the first book, the ending was awesome tho!

An Unnecessary Sequel.

Story 2/5
Narration 3/5

Violence On The Meek 2, is a mess. It’s just a string of depraved, sexually charged murders, with the main character’s insanity as the only explanation. Normally, I enjoy this kind of twisted narrative, especially when there’s a bit of dark humor to balance out the horror, but here there’s none. Nothing about it was funny. Lucas isn’t intriguing or clever, he’s simply unhinged and deeply confused about his sexuality. His only drive seems to be killing and sexually assaulting people.
I’m giving it two stars solely because of the unexpected plot twists at the end. Otherwise, this would’ve been a one-star read.
That said, some readers might still enjoy it. After all, taste is subjective, and there’s something out there for everyone.

Looking to read something violent and depraved? Go ahead and read this book! When you don't think it can get any worse it gets a lot worse. This book follows Lucas King who hates absolutely everyone, and especially a certain priest who he wants to kill for what he did to his younger brother. Why not kill as many people as possible on the way to find this priest. This book just got more and more messed up, and you can really feel Lucas insanity and rage through the book. Might be a good idea to check TWs if you have any. I really enjoyed this sick and twisted book!

Lucas King hates fucking everything! He's dealt with a lot of bad shit growing up and his dead brother Asher won't leave him alone. Lucas sets to have his revenge on a father (priest) who did awful things to his brother. But while getting to him, Lucas entertains himself by going on a crazy killing spree, showing absolutely no mercy.

I didn't think book 2 could get any worse...but here we fucking are 😂 This was another intense, crazy read! I'm on the edge of my seat with this series! But why did I feel bad for Lucas towards the end? 🤔 Stuart, I'm fucking impressed! I'm excited for book 3!

This is the second book I’ve read in the Violence On the Meek series. I loved this book it did not disappoint!
This is a hardcore revenge story with something to trigger everyone. There was gore, senseless killing, depraved sex acts and underneath all the blood and guts was a great story. If you have any triggers this book is not for you, no joke. For veteran extreme horror readers only. For those who enjoy this type of story I highly recommend.
I was lucky enough to receive a free copy of the audiobook and I am choosing to write a review because I liked it so much. The narration was very well done and very much help make the story what it is.

If you are a very religious person don’t even attempt it. But otherwise this is the sh!t dreams are made of if you’re not, or you’re plain traumatized by the years of culty religious upbringings.

This book was a harmonious blend of sacrilegious revenge, DARK humor and just plain abhorrent gore in the most Stuart Bray fashion.

The book follows Lucas King on a hell mission to seek revenge on humanity, most notably Father Credo, a crooked priest from his childhood while toting his little brother along for the ride. What you think you’ve figured out about King, his past and the vengeance he plans to avenge on anyone who crosses his path, you are wrong. Follow Lucas as he aspires to raise his crime statistics exponentially and see where his mind becomes his biggest enemy and downfall.

The twists this book takes in the second half will have your jaw begging to be wired shut, your brain matter splattered in pure disbelief and quite possibly your last meal spewn across the floor. The shock factor in this book is readily available for you to absorb on nearly every single page. I devoured this book and I’m left licking my chops for more.

An extreme-horror story about remorseless and violently unhinged Lucas and his brother who embark on a blood-soaked journey to confront the priest who destroyed their lives, leaving a trail of depravity and retribution in their wake. Bray is very talented at what he does and I highly recommend anything he writes.

Much like the first in the series, the sequel hits hard from the first page and never lets up. It is a book of brutalized prose written through a pen of sadism and suffering. The protagonist and his personal demons seek out the abusive, nazi, pedo priest from his Catholic school days, but not for the reasons any sane person would. Oh no, it's much worse. There is no rest for the wicked. There is only more wickedness.

Waste of a couple of hours.

All this was, was the same book as the 1st. It's like all the author did was try and come up with the sickest most shocking things he could think of. No aspect of horror at all. Just sick shit. It wasn't even creepy, just straight up weird as f**k. Why would someone want to put this stuff in a story? It could've been so much better if it wasn't so sickening. There's a thin line between freaking raw and insane and just plain weird. This goes way over that line. Like I said, waste of time.

I don't care what Stuart Bray is writing about, I'm reading it. But if it has a main character that hates everybody and has a passion for violence, I'm in my horror glory!! I need more VotM and characters like Paul and Lucas immediately!! 5/5 skulls ☠️

A very fitting sequel to the first. That last chapter was wild - I couldn’t tell what was real or not.

I have taken a LARGE step back from splatterpunk / xHorror books because I feel like they just do not appeal to me as a reader as much. But Splatterpunk was what gave me my first intro to ARC reads and the genre holds a special place in my heart so when I was waiting on a early read copy to be sent over I figured “what the hell” and went to what my XHorror group was reading.. Saw it was a Stuart Bray book and knowing what I know from Violence on the Meek it was going to be short and detestable. It was also 89 pages so easily could finish in a shift at work. While Violence On The Meek 2 holds the same weight of “WTF” as VOTM does, this one had STRONG religious content and I worried I wouldn’t be fair in my opinion on it but after finishing it in its entirety… I can confidently say it’s just as bad as the 1st. Sorry Stuart.

There is a kinda-sorta story line here. Dont get me wrong it’s filled with nothing but depravity and disgust all throughout ( and wtf is the deal with the incessant anal rape in ALL the books? I got so tired of hearing about different verbiage to use for an asshole that I started skimming the bits that involved them. ) but again I could see there was at least a story playing out. Then you finish it and you’re left confused and a little bit worried about why you even care after what you just read.

If you like reading about necrophilia, rape, torture, murder, more rape and torture, children being blown apart by guns that don’t actually pack that type of punch, and more rape, go for it I guess but don’t expect any type of story. I’m reading VOTM 3 because I made a commitment to my group but i expect more of the same.

There’s a reason I stepped away from everyone but Aaron Beauregard and I think these books prove why.

Violence on the Meek 2 by @stuart_bray_1991
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5

Lucas is on a rampage. He’s seeking revenge for the abuse that the Father and Nuns put him and his brother through when they were children. His urges for vengeance take on a life of their own however and no one who crosses his path is safe…

❤️ I thoroughly enjoyed the storyline, this is not necessarily a sequel as it doesn’t follow the story from the first book.
❤️ It was really interesting to observe the relationship between Lucas and Asher
❤️ The gore was all encompassing and very much present throughout, I didn’t expect anything less from Stuart Bray 🤣
❤️ I adored the ending, about 20 pages from the end I was questioning what was real and what was fiction 🙊

👎 There was several errors (😩) which I can never just overlook and that’s why I couldn’t give it a 5!

Overall I really enjoyed this book, I love most things that Bray creates and it was a no brainer when I found out this was coming out - I had to read it!

Why Bother Writing This? Honestly.

Yeah, um. This is the second book of Stuart Bray’s that I’ve read and it’s just …. more of the same. His characters (in this book and the last) sound EXACTLY the same so it’s fair for me to assume that this is just Stuart’s voice as a writer - not the characters voice or personality. I’m not saying that the author is deranged, just saying that his characters have so little range that I doubt he can make them “sound” any other way.

Lucas (the main character) is yet another psychopath on a killing spree. People die unnecessarily the entire time. It’s full of sodomy, rape, incest, molestation, death, bigotry, and constant swearing. ALL of the characters talk to each other with vitriol and distaste (again, I’m convinced he doesn’t know how to write a character to be any other way). It’s violence and gore for the sheer sake of it. There’s nothing about this book or the last that will stick with me beyond dinner time.

I usually open with a memorable line from the book I'm reviewing, but I couldn't find anything that wouldn't get me banned!

VIOLENCE ON THE MEEK was my first read by Stuart Bray, and I immediately bought everything he had written. The first one was absolutely brutal, and when the author says that while writing this book he would wake up screaming, I believe him.

VOTM2 is NOT a continuation of the first story; rather, it continues the exploration of a human psyche that is absolutely devoid of love, compassion, or empathy. Lucas King, along with his reluctant companion and brother Asher, is on a mission of revenge. Both have been wronged by the Catholic Church; more specifically, by a priest who molested Asher as a child.

Lucas is probably the most depraved, vile, morally bankrupt characters ever created. There is an intense ferocity in him that was almost uncomfortable, and as his actions became more and more repulsive, I was almost glad that this book wasn't longer.

Recommended for only the most seasoned of extreme horror readers! Available now.

This book just through me for the biggest loop! Lucas King is a very disturbed person. I mean I thought Paul was horrible he has nothing on Lucas. Reading this had me going in one direction just to realize it wasn't what at all I thought.
Stuart Bray has a way with his writing, but this book takes the cake. Lucas is on a path of destruction, and you think it will end but then you get to the end.
My mind has been blown with this. I don't even know how to properly describe it without giving anything away. All I can say is Lucas is so far out of control. Getting what he wants will be a never-ending story. Welcome to the story of Lucas King one of depravity, narcissistic and psychopathic tendencies.

OMG I just finished Violence on The Meek 2 by Stuart Bray and this scene at the nursing scene, the interaction with the reception is cracking me up.
Lucas: “... as i twirled the machete around in my hand, I spun around and did my best Leather Face impression .... the receptionist pushed her chair back her face was enough to have me on the floor in laughter”
Receptionist: “the f*** is the matter with you?”

This 2nd book of the violence on the meek 2, follow Lucas who is traveling "with " his brother Asher on a trip to find a depraved priest, just wait for the twist{s} though!

Yes lets just say you should read this, if you are okay with depravity, violence, sick and twisted acts of evil plus a itty bitty bit of evil.

I read this in one sitting and I recommend you do too! Cause this is so action packed with gore and depravity. I couldn’t put it down!!! My only complaint if you can even call it that is that is so short I wish it had a little more story like the first one did. But it’s not a bad thing there were a couple flashbacks just wanted a little more. Some scenes I had to read with one eye closed cause it was so intense!
Major Trigger Warning for SA. It even made me shudder a little bit.
If you liked the first one and you wanted more in terms of just the most extreme horror possible read this one!
Overall, I give 4.5 for everything it’s a short quick but intense read!
