ABSORBING and CAPTIVATING!
FUN to read ~ Keeping your interest until the last page is turned!

Keturah has been fighting with the 2000 stripling warriors....

But she is ready to return home.

Her heart is torn between the man she loves and the man she is supposed to be betrothed to.

Coming home only intensifies the confusion.

She is not meant to be a wife and homemaker.

She is happiest when she is wielding her sword.

Who will love a woman such as that?

Pretty good

Some action, lots of waiting and down time it felt. Nice wrap up. Woo hoo!!
*sigh* the series is kind of boring. Ket is annoying but I'm glad she's able to defend herself, her people and her family. I like that part (where she holds her own.)

I didn't realize it was the last book of Ket's story. Looks like next is another's story.

Decisions of the heart

The war that continues between the Nephites and Lamanites found Katurah in many battles but the war in her heart is much bigger in deciding between Zeke and Gideon.

This book had moments of excitement with war and fighting. But for most of it, it was slow with her figuring out Ketura mind and heart. I too was torn between her decisions, but I'm so glad she made the choices she did.

I love Misty Moncur’s books! This is another insightful and thought provoking book in the Stripling Warrior Series and a perfect ending to Keturah’s story! Misty is really very talented. This book is a lot less action packed than the last one. Keturah has more of an emotional battle in this one as she wars in her heart over who she is, who she should be, and who she should be with - of course all while about every boy still can’t help falling in love with her and of course slitting throats.

This book also strengthens and defines many incredible side characters. They show their strength, faith, weaknesses and quirky personalities that make me want to be their friends. Of course I am now in love with them and want to read about their ‘happily ever after’ too. I think I’d like about 12 sequels to this book :). Keep them coming Misty!

This book has great spiritual and thought provoking depth. Though it is centered around the teachings taught in the Book of Mormon (where it's parent story came from) the principles and themes are applicable to all. Great discussion topics from this book could be:

What does it mean to love/ what is healthy love and how to show it
Forgiveness
Perspective
Defining healthy relationships
How trials can be blessings

This is a clean book. There is matter-of-fact violence (not gory). I would feel comfortable recommending it to all readers and ages. It is best read as the third book of this series. You could read it alone, but I think you would lose much of the impact. Start from the beginning! So worth it!

What happens when you send a warrior home to cook and to clean. She losses part of her self.

This is the first book I wanted to kick Kentura's ass for going back and ford between Gid and Zeke.

I was very happy with the ending.
