Brandy has done it again. Falling into Place is another amazing book to the Others in Edenton Series.
I love the characters in this book, and as I was reading I felt a deep bond with Liz. Her life hasn't exactly been kind but she is tough. I love reading a series where there is a strong female role, even when you basically relive all the horrible things they have went through, in the end they overcome their obstacles and kick there demons, physical or mental, out of the door. I love a happy ending especially when it doesn't come easy for the characters. Not only has Liz had a hard time, but Robert and Trem each had their own demons to ovecome.
This book was a fast paced read like the others, but Brandy threw in more history about the 3 main characters. You get to learn about what brought them to where they were in the present.
This book takes you through all the major emotions, there are parts that make you want to cry( I really almost cried), parts that tick you off beyond belief and then of course the parts that make you swoon.
Both men in this story are the type of men most women would want in their life, even though it seems to take way to long for the happy ending, all that is revealed makes it so much sweeter.
Trem, as I have named the protector is amazingly sweet. His whole life changed the moment he saved Liz. You know he loves Liz before he does, or at least before he is able to admit it. He's a little bit more hard than Robert but it suits him.
Robert, as I think of as the hopeless romantic, never really gives up, never stops loving or caring for Liz even when she thinks it isn't possible. Their history is long, making you wonder if they will ever be able to get over the events and make their relationship flourish. He is willing to do anything to keep her and as the years pass by he is heartbroken, but doesn't try to make any changes until its time to fully put the past behind them. It hits closer to home for his since it involves him family. Hence the title of the book, Falling into Place.
Liz is tough, but that just seems to be her outter shell, inside she is still the young girl you meet in the beginning. After years of struggling she still has the same fears, but with the help of her lovers is able to finally move on from the past and prepare for their future.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves paranormal, romance, etc... It's a great read and the story is a great way to keep the series going strong.

Brandy tells epic stories.
This is no different. I fell in love with this series from book one and have just continued to fall in love with them. I want to live here. You become immersed in the town and in the relationships in the community. Brandy takes us on a journey through the history of these three and it lays out what is inevitable. The trifecta of passion and devotion.
I think I might be the only person who I have talked to that was excited about this new relationship triangle. A lot of fellow bloggers seemed to express how worried they were about a love that goes three ways. For me, it just made sense. It was time to spice things up, so to speak. And spicy it was. WOW! This book has moments that blow you away in how the relationship between Robert, Liz, & Tremaine develops.
Liz is two very different people in one. She is strong and capable, yet scared and timid in a lot of ways. She holds an innocence about her that is so compelling that you are unable to turn your back on her. Hence why she has two separate men in love with her. I cried for her, more than once.
I could go on and on about Robert, the former lover, who comes back to protect our sweet Liz. And Tramaine, who has helped her heal for so long. Both men are insanely amazing. Both have flaws and vulnerabilities. But both are so perfect for her. They are truly what makes Liz seem even more special than she already is. I love them. I don't want to go into details about them too much, discovering who these characters are on my own, for me, was very important.
I don't want to give too much away here, but I will say that when you have two men in love with you and both are good and right for you, it only makes sense to explore with both. =) And she does just that. I had a conversation with Brandy, where she expressed that once she brought Tremaine into the story, she had to explore the threeway relationship. I for one, am glad she did. His presence made the story richer, fuller, bolder. It was a perfect addition.
You will be glued to this story. If you loved Edenton before, get ready, because you will see another side of it that makes you feel like you never want to leave. Hey Brandy, can I get Preston's story now? Pretty please with sugar on top????? =)

Rivers shines brightest when she weaves the past and present together. Falling into Place delivers what many books cannot: a glimpse into the full lifetime of love between three people. Love manifests in many ways, and Rivers shows us each of these, while also reinforcing effectively that you don't always have to choose one.
Liz is, hands down, my favorite female lead of the series. She is tough, but flawed, and sensitive enough that many women will relate to her. The two men in her life, Robert and Tremaine, are equally unique, and both right for her, in very different ways. While I know many love the strong alpha males and the no-nonsense tough girls, I always prefer the more flawed, sensitive types. I would be hard-pressed to pick a favorite character in this book, though, if I had to, it would be Tremaine.
Without spoiling the book, it is enough to say Rivers takes a very challenging message and sells it in beautiful, convincing spades.
Rivers continues to grow as her series moves forward. Each book is better than the last, and this one is no exception. One of the best reads of 2013.

Falling Into Place by Brandy L. Rivers is one of my favorite books in the series so far. The back story for the characters, Liz, Robert and Tremaine is phenomenal. It really gets the reader devoted to the characters and allows you to know them on their own, as well as together.
Liz is rescued after being neglected and abused. Tremaine took her to a trusted friend, but Liz doesn’t want to stay with them because she feels more comfortable with her savior. Liz has a hard time trusting people and people are unable to reach her no matter how hard they try. Liz finally decides that she is going to try and find her place in their family. Robert makes it easier for Liz because he is such gentle and sweet man; which leads the two to fall for one another.
One day while Robert was gone something traumatic happens to Liz and she feels like she has to leave to protect the love of her life. Robert lets her go and puts his all in his work. Tremaine finds Liz and helps her put her life back together. The relationship between Liz, Robert and Tremaine is so solid and is developed over years.
Twenty years later, Robert learns that Liz and his sister are possibly in harm’s way. Robert and Tremaine would do anything to protect them. But first they both have to deal with their own problems and overcome them to save Liz.
I really liked the background story of the characters. It wasn’t overloaded with details, but enough to let the reader really know the characters and have a connection with them. Brandy Rivers did an amazing job taking a subject of a threesome(less) and making it work for the story. Two men who love one woman with all their heart and both are perfect for her. I was unsure at first when I started reading, but it worked really well for these characters and this story. I like that Liz is a strong and confident woman, but at the same time she is still that little girl that she was who is scared and unsure of herself. She wasn’t completely put together, but lived and survived despite all the bad things that had happened to her. I also really enjoyed that characters from the previous books where present. I love reading updated or getting more information on characters in series.
Falling Into Place was well written and is a page turner. It is a fast read and will keep you sucked into the story. I can’t wait to read more from this series!

This is definitely my favourite book in the series and centres around Robert, Liz and Tremaine. Rape and abuse play a part in the story as well as an unconventional relationship, but it is tastefully done and in no way glorifies or excuses the behaviour.
It starts in the past when Liz is 12 years old. Tremaine rescues her from a dire situation and takes her to live with a friend of his, Wilhelm. Wilhelm takes her in with no questions asked and raises her as his daughter. On her first day in Wilhelm’s house, she meets his oldest son Robert and from Robert’s point of view, it’s love at first sight. Growing up, she slowly falls in love with Robert and they are inseparable, much to the disdain of Robert’s twin siblings Emily and James. Emily dislikes Liz because she feels that Liz is taking everyone’s love and attention away from her and James just wants her powers.
Other characters from the previous books show up including Preston who is Robert’s best friend from school days. Liz knows him well as the three of them went to the same Academy where they learnt more about their talents. Tremaine still watches over Liz and he and Robert are the only two men she completely trusts. Fast forward a few years and the three of them have graduated from the Academy and now work for the Silver Council as Enforcers. One day Liz has exciting news to tell Robert but before she can, she is attacked by James. Robert arrives home and finds her asleep and covered in blood and tries to wake her. Because she’s still in shock, she lashes out and almost kills Robert. Fearful that she might hurt him again, Liz runs off and fakes her own death hoping that Robert will move on.
Forward 21 years and Liz is settled in Edenton where she runs a bookshop with Tremaine. They are still close but Liz’ feelings toward Tremaine have changed. She secretly lusts after him and unbeknownst to her, he feels the same way. Things come to a head when they have to attend Christian’s 21st birthday party. Robert also turns up but to block out the pain of what she did to him all those years before, she decides to get rip roaring drunk! After that night, their lives are never the same again… which one, if either, does she chose? I don’t which characters the next book will focus around but I can’t wait to read it. I just hope it doesn’t take too long!

Falling Into Place is my favorite story yet for the Others of Edenton series. I like all the characters but in this book I feel the story had more meat. Rivers took her time to really build up the back story for Liz, Robert and Tremaine without it being drawn out and without feeling like you didn't get enough information to get to know them.
With the other characters you know more happened but you get bits of the story as the series goes along. We get to meet Liz and Robert while they are young. Tremaine is much older and while I'm sure he has plenty more story to tell, I don't feel like I'm messing much.
Liz is orphaned and is brought to Roberts family after an accident. Robert is taken right away but Liz whats to stay with her savior. She realizes that he can't take her so she just makes the best out of the time with Robert's family. Liz magic shows great promise and soon she is the talk of the school and that is not always such a good thing.
All lost souls seem to end up in Edenton and trouble is usually not far behind. Liz is no exception. She finds herself in a life or death battle several times throughout her life. For all the bad that follows her she still manages to make great friends and finds love.
I like that Liz was strong but not an overpowering female. She is like most people, though you might seem to have it all people still find a way to try to destroy your happiness. Liz was very good at putting on a front to hide all her past pains in front of friends but only one has seen her through everything and she is not letting that one go.
I enjoyed this story and the only thing that really got on my nerves because it was so repetitive is Robert and his guilt. I was just tired of hearing it. Otherwise the story had a great plot, we got to "hear" from a lot of the other characters from past books and this story felt more complete.

Brandy know how to write great and complex paranormal stories that capture your mind, heart and can steam up any window. Falling Into Place was no exception and once again I had a hard time pressing pause to get back to my regular life, instead wanting to stay immersed in her captivating mind and this very intriguing world.
Falling Into Place is now the seventh story I believe that I have read by Brandy and I am still amazed as how she keeps all these intertwining characters and storylines straight. This story in particular revolves around three characters I have been desperate for since I was first introduced to them, Robert, Liz and Tremaine.
I am hesitant to give away anymore of the plot than the synopsis allows mostly because the spoilers that would involve would impact the way you read this book, and trust me going in with as little knowledge as possible will make for an incredible reading/listening experience. But I will say that not only does this story pass many, many years that involve heartache, loss and learning to survive alone but it also involves these three characters learning that not all great loves are made out of cookie cutter molds.
Still full of the epic madness that comes with good fighting evil, Falling into Place is action packed and full of surprises. But even more so than her previous books this story is full of heart and even had me tearing up on multiple occasions. Who would have guessed that the book that’s ends in a permanent threesome would be the one packed full of emotion. I highly recommend this book and series on audio, the story flows nicely and is narrated beautifully. I enjoyed every moment of it and cannot wait for more in the series.

Liz has had a life no one should ever have to live through. Nightmares haunt her on just how much abuse and hell she has had to live through. Giving up Robert all those years ago nearly killed her, in fact in some ways it would have been a relief to have died because then she wouldn't have to remember. Without Tremaine in her life, Liz would most certainly have been long gone from the land of the living. His undying love and support for her has carried her through when she didn't think she could make it.
Now life is changing. Robert is back in her life and he refuses to take no for an answer this time. With his arrival, she learns that one of the causes of her nightmares is very alive. It is time for Liz to face all her demons and learn how to fix her broken heart.
This book is freaking amazing. I love the whole series, but this one is just over the top good! It had conflict, action and love. The pace flies by and you cannot walk away from it. Liz is one lucky girl to have both of these guys vying for her attentions. In typical Others style for us paranormal junkies, there is a whole group of supes that we all love that we all love that just adds to the story. Due to the content, this book is intended for readers 18+. I wasn't really sold on Liz in the previous books but now I understand why she acted as she did. This is one of the best books I have read thus far this year. Please can we have the next others book now.......they are so addicting.

I loved Liz more than any other heroine we met in this world and she was so mature I just admired her. She knows how to cope up with your problems rather than run from it and has the courage and devotion to sacrifice your love just to keep him safe. Just great!!!
The guys in this book, I mean Tremaine and Robert are just like the dream boy that every girl wants. They are caring and can sacrifice their lives to save Liz, well that is just not possible to get now a days.
I loved the way the story flowed smoothly without any fault or mistake. The plot is awesome and the writing style of the author is fab which brought life in to the plot and the characters. Over all a great read guys with thick and grasping mystery, heart-stopping suspense and passionate romance along with true love. Enjoy the read!!!

Another great story. The first part of this story takes us back in time to the beginning for Liz, Tremaine and Robert. It does a great job of giving us insight into more of the Silver council and some of the people we’ve met in other books. Again at heart this is another story of good vs evil. This one touches on child abuse and the physical and emotional damage it can cause throughout someones life.
The second part of the book is based in the present, taking up where the previous books left off and moving forward from there. It brings Liz and Robert back together to work out the misunderstandings that tore them apart and adds Tremaine into the mix. Together they fight against the same enemy that tore them apart years ago. I love the way the relationship between the 3 of them is woven together. The only thing that would have made this better was a little more time spent on the MMF side of the relationship, because you know they’re going to go there.

I was given this book in exchange for an honest review (Lovers of Paranormal).
This book centers on Liz, Robert and Tremaine. The description of the story has a warning that the romance winds up in a permanent threesome. This is a fair warning and I wasn't sure I would like this aspect but in the end it works for them. I really did want to see Liz end up with just Robert though.
Liz is one strong woman who has had a very tough life. I didn't connect to her character as much as I did to Robert. I was really hoping for a happy ending for him.
I also really enjoyed that characters from the previous books where present. I love reading more information on characters from the previous books.
Falling Into Place is a well written page turner that is a little more dark than the previous installments. It's a fast read and will keep you sucked into the story.

Yet another great book in The Others of Edenton series.
All the usual characters that we have grown to love in this series as always there to help their friends in need when the going gets tough.
I loved the first few chapters about where Liz came from and how she dealt with the dreadful things that happened to her.
Robert and Tremaine, we've seen them before in previous books and I have to say this book puts them in a new light and they are so perfect for Liz, in their own way, yet so different.
A perfect ending and I can't wait to start reading the next one, oh wait I don't have to on with the next one.

What a fantastic book.! OMFG! You want steamy , you got it! You want laughter , you got it! You want adventure, you got that too ! You might want to take a cold shower every so often !
Liz had a past ,and she had a crappy life to deal with , but had 2 too HOT men by your side who would do anything for her and be there for her! It is a must to read and a must to be on your book list.
I can't wait for Brandy to have the next book out!! I give this book 5/5 stars! CHECK IT OUT !!!

Omg! This book was fantastic!! It was well written, sexually steamy, and keeps you wanting more! This author has outdone herself again in this series and I can't wait to read her other books! Love it!!!

Another story that started fantastic, turned confusing, then redundant and finally was happy to read the epilogue.
I had two major issues with this story.
The transition between the past and the present was not done smoothly. The author decided to introduce previous characters from the series and assumed that all her readers read her first two books which obviously I did not.
Sometimes, having previous characters is not such an issue to understand the plot and where the heroes and heroine come from but here it had no transition. She was living something and next part she was in another place being and living something else. A gap of a couple of years. It was disturbing.
I have an issue about series, stand-alone and trilogies. When I read a story, I assume, unless it is clearly mentioned “trilogy or part 1″, that the story is a stand alone. So what is the definition of a stand alone then?
When sequels are set in either the same universe or one very similar to that of their predecessors yet have very little if any connection to said predecessors, then the work is referred to as a stand-alone sequel. Wikipedia.
It is tricky. What bother me is the word “little”. Obviously I feel a stand alone should be “if any connection”. I totally dislike to read bits and parts of previous stories, previous relationships, previous plots and drop in a middle of a new story thinking that I missed something important to understand and fully appreciate the story I am reading. That sucks. Big time.
Falling into Place never mentioned it is a stand alone. In fact, it said clearly #3 on the cover. However, the confusion is that many authors add a number after each new release in the same series, not caring to mention if it is a “must read in order” or a “stand-alone”. So how us, readers, can expect to fully enjoy a story if we are not warned beforehand if it is a “true” stand-alone or not. And that is what I do not like. I read many times the “true” before the “stand-alone”. In my perspective, it is or it is not. period.
I was obviously misleaded with Falling into Place and assumed because it is common practice to add numbers when not needed that I could read it alone. But mostly, I thought it was a stand-alone for 100 pages. As soon as part 2 started, it was no longer a stand-alone and I had to struggle to understand who was amethyst and jamie and brodie and nacia and and and. They came out of the blue and all of a sudden the heroine sold books and served coffee. huhsmileyf3
I truly believe that publishers and authors should better consider their readers and add a clear mention, maybe inside or next to the dedication: Although this book can be read as a stand-alone, it would be best enjoyed as a part of the series… A couple or publishers and authors do mention it already and a HUGE thank you for that. It is for me a gesture of respect and I appreciated it very much. (the same way I see more and more re-release or extended version!). I wish this will become a general rule, not only an exception.
Then if the only common point is the time or place and no connection whatsoever is made with previous stories, is is possible to stop the numbers? I mean when I see a series with a number 20 and more, I am like “Heck no, I will take a chance to read this story!”. I will be totally lost in the secondary characters because for sure the author will make references and make them interact with each other. This is THE series of the author’s lifetime so it is just impossible that the author will not make reference or connections.
Anyway. You get my point regarding “false or true” stand-alone…
My second issue I got with the story is the redundancy. It started at the present time up to the epilogue. Let me resume:
character #1: I am sorry

character #2: Please reallllllllllly don’t be
character #3: Not your fault at allllllll
character #1: If I knew and could, I would have done things differently

Again and again and again. I mean the title of this book should have been called: THE GUILT.
I got it at first. But then the characters and romance never evolved after this point or hardly. They formed a menage all right but the guilt was there all the time, before and after and in between.
Then sex scenes were not described at all. It was all suggestion within few lines. It was so quickly described and always sanitized as if sex was a shore or a quickie. I went back to read the tags of this book and it is mentioned 18+ adult content. I could not really label the story MF or MFM or MMF. I saw no love lust connection between the males but they end up kissing and somehow “together”. I even laughed out loud when the author could not even write “licked her clitoris” and used “licked the center of her”… So eroticism? zero point. Even the menage scenes were not described and I could hardly picture when they came or not. However, I think the 18+ ADULT CONTENT has nothing to do with sex but mostly about multiple rapes and incestuous references and flashbacks.
Writing was good and easy to read and characters were lovable even though I did not connect with any of them. I missed the connection between Tremaine and Liz because he was an adult and she was a teen, then along the process she matured in his eyes (guess sixty years does the trick) and became a woman that he could bed with, therefore his love changed to lust-love instead of protector-love. The transition was not done correctly in my opinion to understand the change of mind. For over half of the book it was all about one hero and the heroine for forty years, and then she was mature and single for twenty years and all of a sudden bam menage à trois. No love passion for the second character at all, it was a done deal: “oh by the way, I always loved you” “oh really? me too!” (no quote here, my words). Therefore I did not find much equality in this story. I felt it was a love buddies versus a love lovers, not much passion and the other hero was constantly whining.
What I liked? The choice of plot. I truly enjoyed this druid/mage fantasy world. It was new and fresh for me. I did not understand the difference between druid and mage because it was not truly explained to me (the author assumed I read her previous books) but I truly liked this new fantasy world. If I put aside the guilt, it was definitely a romance story with a strong plot behind it.
I kept reading it up to the end because I wanted to know the epilogue. Overall, it was an okay romance for me but it deserves a 3 stars because the author kept me on my toes up to the end because I wanted to read how the villain will end! And I ended the story somehow satisfied.

O M G, Falling Into Place is by far my absolute favorite book in the Others of Edenton Series! Wow…I'm just speechless!
In order to tell Elizandra's story this book had to take on a much darker theme then its predecessors. Not to say that In Too Deep or Shadows of The Past didn't have their dark moments, but this installment just delivers more of an emotional heart-wrenching punch. Ms. Rivers does an amazing job of captivating you from beginning to end as you learn more about Liz and her rather unfortunate past and how she came to be where she is now. Her life has been anything but easy, even saying it was 'bad' is a total understatement. It just seems like the odds are never in her favor as she battles one obstacle after another. Can I just repeat, Wow!
I enjoyed having more insight into the whole Liz-Robert-Tremaine storyline. It's mentioned with a little more detail in Shadows of The Past hinting towards a love triangle of some sort, kind of paving the way for this installment so you're not completely blind walking into this drama fest. And oh the drama! We first meet Liz when she is 11 years old and being held captive by Sinclair. She endures the most awful abuse imaginable until she is rescued by Tremaine. Hesitant to trust another man, Liz is a bit leery but escapes with him anyway. While traveling together towards her soon to be new home (with Wilhelm and his family), Tremaine teaches her more about her magic and they construct a safe story about her past, should anyone ask. Even though he had good intentions by bringing her to Wilhelm's home, her quality of life doesn't exactly improve as much as Tremaine had hoped. Wilhelm's son Robert instantly welcomes her and they form a bond, but his sister Emily automatically feels threatened and thanks to her evil sadistic twin James forms an immediate hatred toward Liz. I can't give away too much of what happens as the years pass because this is a story you really need to experience for yourself. But let me just tell you that it's not all misery and heartache, things do get SUPER STEAMY!
I love how Ms. Rivers brings together such a diverse cast of characters. Connecting with them is never an issue because they're so well developed that they actually become like your own friends and family. Despite the fact that they exist in a fictional world the subject matter is very real and could easily apply to any real life situation..just take away the spells, shifting, and otherworldly-ness. BAM! Real life! In most of the PNR books I've read the different groups of "Others" generally stick to themselves. The vamps with the vamps, the weres with the weres, and so on. But in the Others of Edenton series they all intermingle as friends and work pretty well together without any prejudice. The world Ms. Rivers has created along with the characters and their amazing abilities is very unique, you won't find another PNR series quite like it.
So without a doubt, I would highly recommend Falling Into Place. Kudos to Ms. Rivers on another amazing addition to the series and her absolutely flawless and intriguing writing style. If you're not reading this series you need to jump on it ASAP! While I wouldn't suggest reading these books as stand-alones, I guess you could if you really wanted to. BUT you will be missing out on the individual stories of each of the characters, so start from the beginning please!!

This Novel is by far my favorite in the series thus far. The story that unfolds as you read just draws you in with every turn of the page. This novel gives you a slide show of chapters depicting an entire life of developing relationships. Tremaine and Liz. Liz and Robert. Robert and Tremaine. You watch their lives and where the decision they make lead them. It's such a wonderful way to fall into their lives. You really invest in the characters. You especially feel the weight of the choices they make.
I Loved Liz. Everything about her character. She was so relatable and easy to love. She wasn't a helpless heroine. She was a fighter and she made her own fate. She controlled her own destiny and I loved her for it. Every decision she made was meant to benefit everyone but her. She has two incredible men that Love her and that she loves just as much, if not more. Robert loved Liz from the moment he saw her. He made it his goal to protect this timid but fierce creature that he found before him that day. Tremaine loved her from that first moment as well, but not in the same way. He wanted to protect her. He gave everything he could to keep her safe and give her a life he knew she deserved. One he thought he couldn't give her.
The love in this story it wonderful. The characters are real and when they hurt you hurt. This is the type of story you relate to. The decision they are forced to make just have your mind spanning. Be it with anger, hurt, love, excitement, all of those in-between. You watch a life unfold with its mistakes and its adventure.

I have to say I’m loving this series and the twists and turns offered in each book and that each book is completely different to the others. This book is split into two parts, the first part is about the past of the main characters and how they come to know each other and the second part is the present in Edenton where the main characters are still together but not in the way they want to be.
The main characters in this book are Liz, Tremaine and Robert; Liz and Tremaine are the characters introduced in the first part of this book, when Tremaine saves Liz from a terrible situation and since then has made it his personal mission to look after her. The two are undeniably attracted to each other however don’t see it themselves, even when everyone around them does. Robert is already involved in a physical relationship with Liz and the addition of Tremaine doesn’t seem to dissuade him in any way. The three engage on a physical relationship together and allow readers to really get to know the three main characters and allow them to bond together.
As always in this series there are many secondary characters however I am not going to review them because they will either have already been reviewed from a previous book or might be reviewed later on in a book of their own.
The pacing and storyline; I am being pleasantly surprised every time I start a new book in this series due to the diverse characters and storylines to go with these characters. Brutalized by an evil man as a child, Liz fights back and kills him just as a man named Tremaine arrives to save those enslaved by the man. He takes the young girl to a friend who raises her with her his own family. The family isn’t perfect, the daughter (Emily) hates her, the oldest son (James) wants to assault her, the mother can’t understand her, but the father cares for her and the younger son (Robert) falls in love with her. Many years later she and Robert are a couple but tragedy strikes, James attacks her taking much but not quite her life and the devastation is so great she leaves Robert to stay with her old friend Tremaine to try forget her horrible past.
This takes up the first half of the book and it’s moving. So much is in play in the household, some if it horrifying, and James is a true villain, a monster who does not deserve the breathe the same air as the rest of us. The pain Liz feels after her attack is real as is Robert’s pain as he watches the love of his life walk away not knowing why but agreeing to let her go because she asks him to.
Twenty some odd years later Liz is still with Tremaine in Edmenton. The years haven’t helped, she’s as devastated now as she was then. Not only does she miss Robert, she’s fallen in love with Tremaine, a man who’s never indicated any interest in her in that way. Robert comes back of course. He’s always known where Liz is. But James, who they thought was dead, is back and aiming for Liz and Robert will do anything to stop that.
This was a menage I wasn't sure I'd like. Both Robert and Tremaine love Liz, and I liked both of them so had to give it a try. I found the menage very unique. They both share her but there is a little m/m in it too. Usually I don't like f/m/m because it feels like the woman gets left out but in this case the guys only kiss and the sex always has her in it. And the three of them together are simply perfect. I know I wouldn’t have loved the book as much as I did if she had to choose only one.
James as a villain was the one of the niggles I had. The last few scenes were comedic in nature with a side kick and I missed the evilness he personified in the first 3/4 of the book. I also would have liked to see more magic from Robert. Outside of transporting them all around, he doesn’t do much. And the final niggle was Liz’s insistence Robert would never forgive her for killing the man who abused her. Two minutes after meeting Robert would have told me that would never be the case, she should have known better.
As always, I love the females the author creates and villains get better and better. This story is dark, James had done things to people that will turn your stomach [trigger warning: sexual assault/incest] , but he gets what’s coming to him in the end and those he’s hurt heal. That is one of the best things of all.

Where should I even start? This wasn’t what I was expected at all. Brandy L Rivers is a wonderful author. She managed to write two very different books in Falling Into Place. I was tempted to write two reviews, then I remember how lazy I can be…
I read this book in one sitting, slept and probably dreamt about it. Woke up and kept thinking about it. It was the best two parts miniseries I’ve “watched” this year. I hope the Power To Be can hear this!
Falling Apart, part one, is my favourite part of the book, the origin story of so many of the Others of Edenton characters. You take away the fact that they don’t really age (so jealous), are all gorgeous (still jealous) and they are supernatural being (mo’power mo’problem), they have the same problems we mere humans/mortals have. Difficult childhood, strange foster family, boarding schools, abuses, thirst for power… all of it make Falling Apart a different book from any other paranormal stories I’ve ever read. The dialogue is softer, the characters are driven and fresh and women are wearing corsets! I kid you not there were no swearing until the last few pages!
It’s mostly Liz’s story, she’s a survivor who had to overcome a lot at the very young age and was lucky enough to meet her avenging angel, Tremaine. From the first page, he stole the entire book and when tragedy strikes again at the end of part one and Liz walked away from her love Robert, he was there to pick up the pieces. Yeah, I know I have a small crush on Tremaine, who could blame me?
Part two, Falling Into Place, feels more like the other books from The Others Of Edenton series… or not. Because… then they were three! Liz, Tremaine and… Robert, Liz took him back or was it Tremaine? The swearing is back, the ass kicking is better than ever, there is a revenge plot going on (isn’t it always!) and the sex is awesome and hot! Or so I’ve read.
As much as I enjoyed those three together, I didn’t like the fact that sometimes they were trying to get everyone on board with their decision or even us the readers for that matter. We read the warning label, we knew it was going to happen, we braced ourselves for it, DVR our favourite shows and made some popcorn, no more convincing was needed.
Falling Into Place is a wonderful book about surviving the worst thing that could happen to you and I’m not just talking about Liz. She’s been through hell more than once but other characters in this book have greatly suffered. She was lucky enough to have not one but two men in her life to help her even if I think that Tremaine will end up being the alpha in this triad and favour Robert (just kidding). I love this book! Oh and Fallon and Brody from In Too Deep are getting married! I RSVP , did you read that Brandy L Rivers, I’ve RSVP…

Tremaine rescues Liz from an abusive situation at the hands of Sinclair McCallister. Tremaine had been sent to investigate Sinclair McCallister by his superiors and stumbled across evil incarnate! McCalllister had enslaved, beat and raped Liz, an eleven year old child. His sinister purpose was to steal her magic for his own use as he had done to other innocents.
A scream echoed from the next room. Tremaine ran into the hall. There was another shrill cry, this one full of pain as child yelled, “No, stop.”
With the help of Tremaine, Liz is healed and placed with a friend’s family. She meets Robert and he becomes her protector and friend. Liz magic is strong and she learns quickly and is moved forward to a more advance class where she forms bond with Robert and his friend Preston. The three become an Enforcer team, training under Tremaine after graduation. Robert and Liz marry and everything should have been happily ever after, but evil has a way of finding good.
Tears ran down his face as he stared at her words. He knew James had hurt her, but their baby? He could hardly breathe. The blood, the way she clutched at her stomach, it all made sense now.
Tremaine, Robert and Liz are reunited to fight an evil awakened. James is coming after Liz. It is no longer Robert and Liz, it is now Tremaine, Robert and Liz! Three lovers joined together as one.

To say that Liz has had a rough life it a huge understatement. She grew up thinking that not only was she not wanted but also beaten and so much worse. A long time ago she had to defend herself and that resulted in someone’s death. Though she is not sorry about killing that vile person she is worried that it will one day push the man she loves away from her. Robert has loved Liz since the day he laid eyes on her so long ago. It took a long time to gain her trust and just when he thought they could have it all she ran from him and to this day he still has no idea why. The day that James took attacked her he took away more than just her hopes and dreams; he returned her to the state of thinking she was unworthy of love. Out for revenge she thinks she finally killed the bastard little does she know that years later she will find out that not only does he live but that the person who saved him may just be the person he hurt worse than her. Liz relives her nightmares around the same time every year. She relives the day that James took everything from her and the only thing that seems to keep the nightmares at bay is drinking herself into a stupor. Termaine has always thought of Liz as his. First when he rescued her so long ago and then as time went on he grew to love her as a woman but always knew her and Robert belonged together. When Robert finds out that James is not only alive but after Liz he has to go to her not only to warn her but to try and keep her safe as well. To say that Liz loses it would be like saying a hurricane is just a little gust of wind. Together with Robert and Termaine she is determined to bring an end to James cruelty once and for all. What develops in between the three of them is sexy as hell, explosive and sweet all at the same time. Will they finally be able to put the past behind them and move forward? Will Liz’s secrets push Robert away or is he really in it for the long haul this time? Will they defeat James once and for all and stoop him form hurting others? Will Liz finally realize that she is not only deserving of love but accept the love of these two great men without fear? It is great to see how everyone in this little community of Edenton comes together to help anyone who is in need. This series is definitely addictive! There is so much more to this part of the story but I can’t go into it anymore without giving away some of the best stuff that will keep you turning the pages so fast that if you aren’t careful (or reading on an electronic device) you may end up with a paper cut LOL.

Have you ever read a book that had you squeeing and grinning and compulsively reading with absolute giddiness from beginning to end?? Well, that basically describes my entire experience with Falling Into Place. Holy crappity, crap, but I LOVED this book. The characters, the big bad, the romance - everything. Loved it.
After meeting Tremaine and Robert in the first book, I was very curious to find out what the deal was with Liz and Robert. And finally, the story came together and I got to find out all of the sordid details of the past between Liz, Robert and Tremaine. It was so good. I love that the beginning of the book was all in the past, showing who Liz was and where she came from. It added layers and depth to the story and the relationships. I especially loved the solid foundation that her relationships with Tremaine and Robert are built on. Awesomeness, so much freaking awesomeness.
I'm not really going to get into the plot because you can get that from the synopsis. But I will say this about the book, the romance between Liz, Robert and Tremaine is off the charts hot!! The smexy scenes really could have caught my Kindle on fire. But it isn't just steam, it's a heartfelt, deeply emotional and very earned relationship. I adored the dynamic between them and how hard they had to work to get there. This was no annoying insta-love, this was years of friendship, love and deep emotional connections. I LOVED it!
This book! Seriously. It was crazy awesomeness. All of the characters from the previous novels come back in to play. Threads from the other books get tied up, while there is soooo much more to be discovered and explored in the books to come. I really hope that Brandy L. Rivers will continue to write about these characters and the incredibly cool town of Edenton.
As always, another fantastically awesome addition to a series that is on my list of forever favorites. It's re-readable, it sucks you in and you can't help but care about every single character that you meet in the pages of this amazing series. Go 1-click and read them now, you won't regret it.

I am so happy to be able to visit Edenton again. I love that town, I wish I could move there.
I adore everyone of Brandy's characters, Hayden had the #1 guy spot after he stuck up for Fallen in In Too Deep and then when he featured in Amethyst's book Shadows of the Past. But I am sorry Hayden, please forgive me.. Tremaine has knocked you off the top spot.
This story showed you past and present, it worked well. I am a Werewolf girl and thought I would miss them since this book was based around the Mages, but I was surprised when I got to the end of the book and hadn't had one thought like "where are my wolves" or "someone needs to turn furry already"... I enjoyed all their different abilities. It was fantastic.
I am looking forward to reading Preston's story, he needs a HEA. I want to see Jamie's HEA too, I can't wait to witness that moment when she see's her Mr Right. Plus more of Jamie means we will get to see more of Jess (I hope so anyway), I like Jess.
Sorry to be a nag Brandy, But chop-chop, I want the next one already. ;)

I love this series and Brandy did not disappoint me with this book. I love the world she has built and the dynamic between Liz and Robert and Liz and Tremaine is wonderful. I found myself torn throughout wanting things to work for Liz and Robert and for Liz and Tremaine. My heart went out to all three of them. It was agonizing to know that this heartache went on for decades and no one would step up and say anything because they all thought they were doing the right thing.
Tremaine found Liz when she was young and took her to Robert’s family home so she could grow up with a loving family. However, there was not all happiness in the new family Roberts sister, Emily, and brother, James, didn’t always make her feel welcome. Robert, Liz, and Preston graduated from the Academy and were assigned to the Silver Council Enforcer’s Program with Tremaine. Robert and Liz become closer during this time. When tragedy strikes Liz once again she runs and fakes her own death. Tremaine once again looks after Liz. When Robert realizes that James is alive and threatening Liz him and Tremaine join forces to attempt to protect her. Having both Robert and Tremaine in Liz life sets her world spinning.

Rescued from a childhood of neglect and abuse, Liz doesn't trust anyone easily. Tremaine took the twelve year old to a trusted friend to raise and nurture, believing she would find a place in Wilhelm's family and finally have the love she deserved. After such a rough beginning, nothing Emily or James through at her could touch her. Liz made her own place in a home and family she never felt she quite fit into. Growing up beside Robert, his gentleness was a soothing balm to her heart and the two fall in love.
Horror struck her young life again as James attacked her one day while his brother was gone taking care of their sister. In shock by the time Robert returns, Liz doesn't recognize him and nearly kills the love of her life.
Over twenty years later, Robert learns James is still alive and is out for revenge. Liz is at the top of his list right behind his sister, Emily. Both Tremain and Robert would do anything to keep her safe and the first step is for everyone to face their personal demons. As the author notes in her book description, there is a threesome that develops in this story. I've had authors tell me that sometimes, characters take a story in a completely different direction than they intended. In this case, I'm glad she listened to her characters.
Some of the same characters from the other stories are here. Fallon plays a key roll in helping Liz feel safe and recover some sense of feeling beautiful again. There were a few errors that detracted from the story, but I couldn't put it down. While I love all these book, my favorite by far is the first one, In Too Deep. Having read all the books currently available in this series, I'm looking forward to both the next book in this series as well as the first book in Others of Seattle.

Horror struck her young life again as James attacked her one day while his brother was gone taking care of their sister. In shock by the time Robert returns, Liz doesn't recognize him and nearly kills the love of her life.
Over twenty years later, Robert learns James is still alive and is out for revenge. Liz is at the top of his list right behind his sister, Emily. Both Tremain and Robert would do anything to keep her safe and the first step is for everyone to face their personal demons. As the author notes in her book description, there is a threesome that develops in this story. I've had authors tell me that sometimes, characters take a story in a completely different direction than they intended. In this case, I'm glad she listened to her characters.
Some of the same characters from the other stories are here. Fallon plays a key roll in helping Liz feel safe and recover some sense of feeling beautiful again. Falling never felt so good! Great story of overcoming the bad things in life and never giving up. Wonderful reading about more characters in Edenton - I love the Others! And now a bit about the story...
Liz has been abused for most of her life. She had been kidnapped as a baby and used since then. Her magic is more than she can contain though and when her captor tries to rape her she ends up killing him. Luckily Tremaine had been sent to look into the who situation and gets her away from the Sinclair estate before it burns to the ground. He takes her to a friend (and Sinclair's brother), who raises her like his own. She comes into learning magic easily and is accelerated in classes. But this family she thinks loves her could be her downfall. Some are jealous, some are in love, and some just want her dead. She how it all comes together in the 3rd full length novel of the Others of Edenton!

You really can't go wrong with a phenomenal author and an amazing narrator that truly brings the story to life. Fantastic!!!
I am in love with this series and I will jump at every single opportunity I get to review not only the books, but the audio books as well.
These characters are ones I will always cherish. Their journeys are memorable adventures that as a reader, I can't help but crave more of.
Tremaine, Liz, and Robert's story was fantastic and HOT. Oh my goodness!! Listening to those steamy scenes was something else, let me tell ya! Now, if you're in public while listening, be prepared for the most awkward feeling ever! I kept looking around, all paranoid, thinking people KNEW what I was listening to! Lol!
Liz has truly been through SO much, alongside Robert and Tremaine. A LOT of heartache. James was pure EVIL. Sheesh. I truly loathed his character. He hurt and in many ways, broke, a lot of people. A lot. He was just.... EVIL.
Liz's relationship with Robert and Tremaine worked for them. They all completed each other and were what they unknowingly needed. It was different, but it was them. They were happy and that's all that mattered.
I cannot wait to see more about them in Entangled Darkness!!! I hear we're in for even hotter scenes!!
On a side note: I loved learning more about Christian! If you're reading the series out of order (like I have), then maybe you haven't met him yet, so just in case, he's the character from the previous installment (Others of Edenton 2.5): Fated Love (his and Delilah's story).

In the previous books you got to know the main characters and that there is a kind of relationship between Liz and Robert. This book however, you are told about their relationship right from the beginning - from when they met to the circumstances in the previous books to the present events in their relationship. It's the timeline of their relationship and what they had to deal with.
From the start of the book I loved Tremaine's character. The way he cared for Liz since first meeting her was sweet. Loving her for years yet never acting on his feelings. That is until Robert re-enters her life and a lot of alcohol and their relationship ignites. Then it's sweet and spicy - enter ménage a trois. I liked that by the end, the three of them (Liz, Robert and Tremaine) had a functional relationship.
Being a druid-mage hybrid, Liz's character was interesting. She was able to do different and more interesting things that a normal mage could do, and it wasn't until near the end of the book that you found out why that was.
James was twisted in the head which I thought balanced out the goodness in the other main characters. I was disappointed with his fate - being eaten by a tree was so not what I was expecting, with everything Liz can do I was looking forward to a gripping finally but it never came.

I love Brandy and all her bookies she writes but this one...it was okay....I mean I liked it but I wasn't in love with it like the other books in her series. Robert he's a protective guy, "he took you," Robert yelled as he stormed in front of her, and took her arms in a firm grasp. "He took you, Liz. You could be dead now." Tremaine he's a good guy and he cares for Liz like a lot, "he chuckled. "Yes, but I'm your pain in the a**, and I'm going to stick to you like glue until I deliver you to the party. Sober. You can drink yourself into a stupor after arriving." He's also one that makes Robert see sense, "shut the eff up. She doesn't see me that way. Trust me. She's still in love with your dumb a**. So man up and fix your s***. I want to see you both happy." Both men love their girl, "god, he was so gorgeous that her mouth watered. And then Tremaine stepped into the room, just as naked as Robert, but he wore a sexy little grin. "Oh, she doesn't regret that part. She doesn't trust herself with her feelings, or with where this is going." Tremaine that boy makes light of everything, "Tremaine laughed. "Damned right about that. I don't want to hurt her when we get carried away." I'm not sure what was missing but I just wasn't in love with it like I was with the other books in the series.
