In the not to distant future, technology has been able to manipulate the human gene pool to create a society that lives without crime, or war or disease. People live in harmony, free from want and bigotry.
There are compromises that must be made to enable this Utopian society to function, and when these rules of conduct are threatened, draconian steps will have to be taken to protect this perfect world.

Short but thought provoking read.
The subject matter of this book is an interesting view of the future. There is a good plot with enough action to keep the pages turning.
