Very silly and extroverted, but infectiously cheerful. And the kittens aren't that dangerous.

This is riotous fun and gorgeously done! Happy Hills is THE place to be… but Ace never meant to be there! Can Ace make friends and save Happy Hills from the giant kittens?

A brilliant graphic novel from Sophy Henn that will go down a storm! Bright panels and fun too! Looking forward to seeing more!

I love Sophy Henn's illustration style, but this whole comic felt like really trashy kids' tv that kids get addicted to but has absolutely no worthwhile content or any plot whatsoever, and where the characters are all self-absorbed and insipid.

We get a series of origin stories for the existence of these Happy Hills, where basically each character tells a lie trying to convince the newcomer their tale of events is true. The worst two being:
The hills grown from leftover rainbow puke soaked into the ground, illustrated 3 times...
"Wow. I am really great at puking towns that look all happy..."
Or the other one being that a cat was shaking his 'booty' and the landscape also had to shake its booty and hills were created. So we get this idiotic shaking booty picture with two hills shaking that are the colour of a bottom. And then another bottom cheek appears in the landscape, and the cat says 'An extra butt? Groovy.' And then the characters talk about bums for a bit and having three cheeks.
This is basically the kinds of things this story consists of. There are some big cats that show up, but it's almost like an afterthought.
And Frankenstein's monster pops up randomly, which is a bit inappropriate for kids.

I really didn't like this one at all. Henn is a really talented illustrator and it's a shame that this story is so hollow, lacking substance or anything wholesome.

CW:
-Lang- oh heck, oh heavens, crumbs.
-3 pages of rainbow puke and puking illustrated
-unicorn that looks like a girl is a boy, he puts his pink hair in a hair net and curlers over night, pictured multiple times
-unicorn doing yoga
-illustration of hills as bottoms wiggling
