#1 New York Times, #1 USA Today, and #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling author Helen Hardt's passion for the written word began with the books her mother read to her at bedtime. She wrote her first story at age six and hasn’t stopped since. In addition to being an award winning author of contemporary and historical romance and erotica, she’s a mother, an attorney, a black belt in Taekwondo, a grammar geek, an appreciator of fine red wine, and a lover of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. She writes from her home in Colorado, where she lives with her family.
Sweet sin is book two in the Bellamy brothers series and it keeps you wanting more and more from this series and from Helen Hardt.
Sweet send takes place right as Savage sin leaves off. Savannah and falcon were having a glorious time at his place and lo and behold Intruders come in. He tells Savannah to hide somewhere safe and takes off to see what the commotion is. However when things start to go south and Falcon has no choice but to defend himself and Savannah the story takes a turn and a twist that is heart wrenching for me as a reader and a complete Savannah and Falcon fan. When Falcon thinks it's his fault that these men showed up he feels like because of his past he put Savannah in danger. But when he finds out that she too has a secret and that it's actually her past that is coming back to haunt and hunt her down he steps up and stands by her side and will do anything to protect the woman he loves. Even if that means calling upon someone he never thought he would turn to again. His old childhood best friend Leif Ramsey.
Savannah is mortified that her past has come back. She does what she was regretting to do and calls her father to get down to the bottom of things. Asking for his help is like pulling teeth without novocating for her. She wants to stay far far away from that life, that is why she left. That is why she got out of the life her family leads. When Falcon and Savannah work with Leif and Kelly to bring things to light it's heartwarming for me as a reader to see Falcon reconnect with his former childhood best friend. As they all work to solve this threat and to keep Savannah safe and to keep falcon from going back to prison for a parole violation the intensity of the situation keeps building and puzzle pieces are still missing. But when they finally think that they know who's truly behind the Carnage that has come back into Savannah's life a shocking twist comes into play. In true Helen form she leaves us with a cliffhanger that could cause you heart palpitations. The action in this story is thrilling. Just when you think you figured things out Helen pulls the rug out from under your feet. She does this in a way that leaves you thirsty for more and leaves your mind reeling at all the possibilities and scenarios that could possibly take place.
Sweet sin is a thrilling must read and will keep your attention throughout the entire book. And when you get to the end you subconsciously turn the pages needing to have the next chapter magically appear because you NEED to know What Happens Next...
Things go from bad to worse in this book. Ex-con Falcon Bellamy and his parole officer Savannah Gallo story picks up from where the last book left us hanging.
I appreciate that Helen starts the book with the prologue and the 1st chapter with pieces from the previous book and enough of the last chapter of the previous book. It basically brought the 1st book rushing back in and I didn't have to do a refresher to remember what happened.
This book has a lot of Falcon's flashbacks of his time in prison giving more incite into who had to become while behind bars. But it also explains a bit more of Savannah's prior life and her role in the family business. As well as reuniting with his childhood friend, Leif.
We also learn more about what happened prior to Falcon pleading guilty. His need to protect his family and now Savannah. There's still quite a few unanswered questions but I have no doubt the final book will not only answer them but be as explosive as Falcon and Savannah's feelings for each other.
Fair warning, the cliffhanger in this book had me wanting to throw my device and left we anxiously awaiting the conclusion to their story.
OMG!!! The continued story of Falcon (Savage) Bellamy and Savannah ( Vannah) Gallo, is just as sizzling in Sweet Sin, as it was in Savage Sin...
Sweet Sin picks up right where Savage Sin left us hanging, with Falcon and Savannah trying to relax and enjoy the rest of their day in the hot tub.
Savannah, hears Sydney, the dog dog barking, and instinctively knew that something was amiss...
Soon, all hell broke loose and Falcon and Savannah were thinking about their futures, and what steps they're going to need to take....after all, Falcon is an ex-con and Savannah's family has ties to the mob,
What do they do? What risks do they take? Read Sweet Sin to find out the answers to these questions, and so much more information you'll want to know about this couple.
As usual, Helen Hardt leaves us with yet another cliffhanger, that just makes you want to scream profanities, lol...
I give Sweet Sin 5 stars and recommend it to all readers, that have first read Savage Sin, book 1 in the Bellamy Brothers Series.

Been a while since I last read the first book in this on going series and it surely picked up in a dramatic way. If you haven’t read the first book, go back and read it otherwise this story won’t make sense. The last time I saw, Savannah and Falcon, they were enjoying a steamy moment in the hot tub which then turn a dramatic turn of events when two men came to apparently kidnap Savannah?! With that cliffhanger, I was left waiting and wondering what was going on?! Savannah had her secrets, but they finally came out in the open in this second book. With a bit of suspense, danger, secrets, and romance in between, Falcon and Savannah’s story wasn’t over.
Just a heads up, there might be potential spoilers ahead so if you haven’t read the first book, don’t read this review!
The bits of drama, secrets, and danger continued in this romantic suspense story! Savannah and Falcon had a forbidden romance especially since Savannah was Falcon’s parole officer, and Falcon was her parolee. A romance that shouldn’t have happened, but it did. The steamy chemistry between Savannah and Falcon was still there, and with the added revelation of Savannah’s past coming back to get her, Falcon was more protective than ever over her. Compared to the last book, I wasn’t expecting the backstory of Savannah’s family, and what she use to do, but it was interesting.
With the drama that unfolded from Savannah’s past and Falcon trying to protect her, there was more to learn about both of them. Savannah genuinely thought after leaving her family’s “business” behind, she could have a fresh start, but somehow a mafia rival family was behind the attempt of taking Savannah. Although it wasn’t stated clearly who was behind the attempted kidnapping on Savannah, she knew better than anyone else there was only one family capable of going after her, it was personal. Savannah’s strength was a bit more pronounced in this story in a way that showed her she wasn’t a damsel in distress, she had seen her fair share of violence especially from her childhood, and ironically it helped in preparing her for the worse situation. Falcon had just gotten out of prison, and similarly thought he could hide away and keep a low profile being back home, and yet he found himself in a new set of trouble alongside Savannah. Falcon had always been a protective man by nature, but seeing the things that came up from Savannah’s past, and what they dealt with throughout the story further solidified Falcon’s determination to do anything in order to protect Savannah.
I feel like this book had its highs and lows for me. At some points like the beginning, it picked up right where it left off from the cliffhanger from the first book, and didn’t waste time with the bit of suspense. I obviously felt bad for all the drama and trouble that Savannah and Falcon dealt with, but I was glad to see that they had one another to rely on. I could understand that with all that happened, both Savannah and Falcon used their intimacy as a way to escape the pain and sadness they both were going through, but thankfully they saw that it wasn’t a healthy way to cope with the trauma they were still working through. Unfortunately what I didn’t like was the turn of events at the end of this book. I can understand Savannah trying to protect Falcon from potentially getting arrested again for a crime he had no fault in, and protecting him from the people going after her, BUT…I don’t like how the story ended on that SPECIFIC CLIFFHANGER! Savannah tried to protect Falcon in any way she could, even if that meant marrying Miles McAllister and enduring all the pain and implied actions that went against her consent, which while reading made me feel uncomfortable. When I say I felt uncomfortable, I mean it was directed towards the way Miles was with Savannah at the very end, and Savannah accepting whatever was going to happen to her. I hope that makes sense without spoiling the book, but yeah, towards the middle, end half of the book it just took a turn I wasn’t entirely comfortable with. Not sure if I’ll read the next book, but we’ll see since I still am a little curious and concerned to see how Savannah and Falcon’s story goes.
Sweet Sin is not a standalone. You have to read Savage Sin before this book. So the story picks up immediately where bk one leaves off. There is more to Savannah than meets the eye. Much more. Her background and upbringing is anything but normal. She thought she escaped and outran her past. But it comes crashing into her present. And also bulldozes into Falcon’s life. And that man doesn’t need anymore on his plate. He’s been served enough devastation and suffering as it is. But it’s in his nature and DNA to protect and shield those he loves. And that man has fallen in love with Savvy. After getting the full story about who she truly is, he’s more determined than ever to to protect her. It never even crossed his mind to abandon her. Even though he absolutely knows her mess can get him back in prison. I have to say I loved Falcon’s loyalty and dedication. It was truly incredible. But to me sometimes he takes on too much, carries the burdens of others heavily and takes responsibilities of other’s actions. Admirable yes. Wise only time will tell. Savvy and Falcon’s relationship grows and blossoms. They already had a strong physical connection. But now it’s more emotional and heartfelt. I enjoyed the suspense and drama of the story. The revelations that can to light were stunning. Didn’t see that coming. Puzzle pieces are starting to come together. But the picture is not complete. But I think once everything is revealed that will be more at play than expected. One thing that felt off for me was some things that Falcon would say. Some of his terminology seemed too old for him. Someone his age wouldn’t say the words he uses. But I don’t know any ex convicts so I may be wrong. But other than that I enjoyed the book and excited to read the conclusion Seductive Sin.
Helen Hardt certainly knows how to deliver suspense, intensity, intrigue, and drama. SWEET SIN, book #2 in the Bellamy Brothers series, picks up where Savage Sin concluded. Helen doesn't waste any time getting back into the nitty gritty of Falcon Bellamy and Savannah Gallo's story. Hold onto your hat because this installment is one wild ride.
Savvy and Falcon have finally given into the chemistry and attraction that has been rapidly building them between them. A steamy hot tub was the perfect place to relax and enjoy each other's company, until it wasn't. Savvy has held her secrets close to her chest, but when her past finally catches up with her she has no choice but to tell Falcon everything. So not only were they in a forbidden relationship because of their positions, now they had the added pressure of the danger that has come after Savvy.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book; it held me riveted to the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Helen has woven her words masterfully ensuring the intensity of the situation was felt, the building emotions between Savvy and Falcon progressed at a relatable speed, and the suspense continued to build leading to that climax.
Of course, Helen concludes SWEET SIN with a cliffhanger, but why, oh why, did she have to end it where she did? Seductive Sin can't come soon enough!
Sweet Sin is the second in the Bellamy Brothers series, and as always HH has a choke hold on me that I never want to end. You must read book one in the series; Savage Sin before reading this sweet baby, there is too much backstory, plus this book picks up when the first one ends.
Falcon “Savage” Bellamy served time in prison for a crime he didn’t do, so when he gets out all bets are off. Until Savvy throws herself into his life, and by that I mean ....”she came in like a wrecking call.” Never a truer statement. Savvy is Falcon’s parole officer, but that doesn’t stop his lusting after her. Soon enough they are tumbling away in the sheets.
With Savvy though, there is always more than meets the eye. She hides a past of secrets, trauma and pain. Falcon has been through his fair share of pain and trauma for two lifetimes, but Savvy is under his skin and he was born to be a protector, so if that has him wading into dirty waters, so be it. Even if it lands him back in the clinker.
Savvy and Falcon may have started off as a physical attraction, but their relationship quickly blossoms into something much more. Their story is one of forgiveness, emotional growth and oh so much spice. I can’t wait to see what else comes from this series.
Sweet Sin is book two in the Bellamy Brothers series and is about Falcon Bellamy and Savannah Gallo. Falcon is an ex con who is out of jail now and currently working with a parole officer -Savannah - while he renters society. As Falcon and Savannah work together they can’t fight their attraction to each other. They finally give into it and are together when they are interrupted by a commotion outside. Falcon thinks they’ve come for him, but Savannah has secrets of her own and her family has dangerous enemies hat will stop at nothing to get control of her to control her family. Falcon is forced to face a lot of this head on very quickly.
I feel like a broken record when I go to review a book from this author. There is always, with out exception, a level of excellence that she writes at. It’s just always there. The storyline grabs you from the very beginning and you read the the book with the intensity you might use to run a marathon - sheer focus on one goal until you’re finished! There’s always a mystery driving the storyline or done kind of drama, and the sexy times are off the charts hot! This book was exceptionally written and I can’t wait for the next one! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is book 2 in the Bellamy Brothers series. You need to read book 1 called Savage Sin first. There is a cliffhanger in that book and plenty of back story for this one.
This book starts with Falcon serving time in prison, even though he didnt commit the crime. He is a little upset to say the least. And there comes Savvy. Savvy is Falcons parole officer and when the two meet sparks fly! It isn't too long before they take things to the next level, if you get my meaning.😮
Savvy has a lot of secrets though and a deep past, so does Falcon and they brave through it all and Falcon just wants to keep Savvy safe and his❤️
I really liked this one folks as it does have a lot of fire🔥 between the two characters but the relationship between Falcon and Savvy becomes something more. I love reading about deep relationships between characters and not just something with physical only attraction.
Overall the writing was super engaging and I love Helen Hardt's books! She really pulls the reader into the stories between her characters and you just fall in love with them.😍
You can run with a lie, but you can't hide from the truth. It will catch you.
Another intriguing story that grabbed my interest yet again. This is the second book in what will be an impressive series in the making. Falcon and Savannah are enjoying a well deserved moment of peace together when without warning they are attacked by intruders on Falcon's property. Falcon believed they were after him, when in reality it's Savannah they want.
Savannah has many secrets, but did not realize they would surface this soon, if ever. Falcon immediately propels himself into protective mode. He would do anything for Savannah's safety. As we learn information about Savannah's past, Falcon knows he needs help. He turns to someone he thought he would never find himself contacting ever again.
This cliffhanger will have you chomping at the bit to see what happens next. It can't come soon enough.
Falcon (Savage) and Savannah’s (Vannah) story continues with people coming to find her. Although she’s Falcon’s parole officer, she belongs to a crime family. But this is not her family to get her to do more of their dirty work. It has to be the McAllister family because she refused the arranged marriage twice. The police come and two ambulances. How will this all turn out? Falcon is an ex-con, an innocent one at that. Lots of action and steam in this book, for sure, involving Savannah’s family and the McAllister family, and also an issue with one of Falcon’s sisters. It’s a page turner, also. Helen Hardt really knows how to leave her readers hanging with a cliffhanger at the right precise moment. I cannot wait for the conclusion of Falcon and Savannah’s story.
Right from the start Helen Hardt had all sorts of action going on! I couldn’t put the book down, it kept me intrigued and wanting to know what was going to happen next! I can’t wait for the conclusion to see what happens in the conclusion to the Bellamy Brothers book!
Savannah has a past that she ran from and hoped to never deal with it again. She was doing good moved to a new town meet Falcon and even though she is his probation officer they can’t seem to stay away from each other.
Then her past catches up to her, the past she so desperately wanted to forget till she was forced to face it head on and got Falcon involved. Savannah does what Steve thinks will keep Falcon safe but what she doesn’t realize is this man will move heaven and earth to keep her safe and that’s what he intends on doing after all he didn’t get the name savage for nothing right!
Ex-convict Falcon Bellamy served eight years for a crime he didn't commit. Once he was free, he wasted no time hopping into bed with his parole officer. She was the salve he needed to soothe the demons from his incarceration and the worry for his sister who's fighting a life-threatening disease. But sweet Savannah Gallo has her own demons.A member of a notorious crime family that robbed her of both her brothers, Savannah tried to leave her past behind. But a rival organization wants her, and they'll stop at nothing. This is the second book in the Bellamy Brothers series, and I recommend reading the books in order to understand the backstory and dynamics at play; especially since this book picks up where the first book ends. Falcon and Savannah are magic together and Ms. Hardt knows how to weave a wicked storyline that grips readers attention and never lets it go. It is an emotional rollercoaster from the arrival of unwanted guests to Savannah’s secret past. This is one book that is not to be missed as it includes everything plus the kitchen sink. I highly recommend this series and am counting down the days until the next book is available.
This is the second book in this incredible series and continues straight on from where Savage Sin ended. Falcon and Savvy’s relationship grows from strength to strength. No spoilers, this is a must read! This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster, with mystery, suspense, danger, intrigue, family, secrets, sacrifices, and love, which leads to an entertaining, heartfelt, and heartwrenching addictive page turner. I can’t wait to read the next book! I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Well, I had to pick my jaw up off the floor! The second step in Falcon and Savannah's journey is so intense. It's heart pounding, nail biting, and just overall a book that pulled me in so deep that I was feeling those emotions as they happened. They have such a deep connection, even in such a short time. I've loved getting to know more and more about them, even mixed in with the danger and suspense. This is a must read series, and I'm going to be on the edge of my seat waiting for their next book.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I definitely enjoyed this one much more. I couldn't stop reading once starting. Be prepared to be on a rollercoaster of emotions with no safety bar. We get to know the characters on an even deeper level in this book and I couldn't get enough. They definitely prove why they are perfect for each other, but do they get to have the happily ever after they've more than earnt? So much goes on in this book, your jaw will be on the floor with your heart in your throat.
Sweet Sin by Helen Hardt is book Two in the Bellamy Brothers Series. This continues the story of Savannah Gallo and Falcon Bellamy 'Savage'. Their story started in the First book 'Sin'. So you will need to read that book before starting this one. Falcon is working to keep going after being in jail. Savannah secrets are starting to come out. Falcon and Savannah story is so good! I can't wait for the next installment. Loving Ms. Hardt's writing.

Wow! Book 2 didn’t disappoint either. Book 2 continues with Savannah and Falcon and their hot and sexy connection, but things about Savannah have come to the surface and Falcon will do anything to protect her no matter the circumstances! Falcon has his own personal stuff that he is fighting for and now Savannah is in that mix. So good!! Can’t wait for more of Savannah and Falcon. Book 3 coming soon! Thank you Helen!
Wow loved this book .Lots of hidden secrets from the past .Both Falcon and Savannah have deep secrets from there past .When suddenly the past comes knocking and Falcon tries to protect Savannah thinking it’s his past that’s put her in danger .But it’s not his past that’s the problem it’s Savannahs past that came knocking .Things takes a turn when Savannah makes a decision to protect herself and Falcon .And from that point on things really heat up lots of twists and turns
This story is just amazing, the chemistry between this two is scolding hot and OMG can’t get enough of them. In regards of the story it has me on the edge, but that ending, I have to be honest I wanted to scream, can’t wait for the next one to come I need to find out what happens next, Helen really knows how to keep us on the edge she’s a genius!!
It seems like Falcon and Savannah just can't catch a break. When they get a moment alone something always seems to happen. Fortunately for us readers it doesn't stop the heat factor between them. They have chemistry that oozes off the pages. Sweet Sin ends in a hard cliffhanger that keeps me wanting more...can't wait for the next book.
Book two picks up from Falcon and Savannah’s cliffhanger. We get more danger, twists and turns to keep us excited to know what comes next. This book gives us more of Falcon’s past and what happened to him before and during prison. We also get a bit more of Savannah’s past. The two complex characters have a lot in store for the reader. Leaves us waiting for what happens next again.
I could not put this book down. I read it straight through cover to cover. The characters are fascinating and the storyline exciting as well as suspensful. I loved it. Helen Hardy knows how to write a book! Highly recommend. Be sure to read the first book in the series. Have fun!
Sweet Sin is book 2 in the Bellamy Brothers series. They need to be read in order. Falcon and Savannah continue with fantastic love that is very sexy and delightful. There is mystery, sweet love, and the signature Helen Hardt cliffhanger ending! I am so enjoying this series. The book is easy to read and I did get caught up in the story line. Pick up this book after reading Savage Sin.
I find this book repeating. I like Helen Hardt's books but this one seems to repeat the same thing over and over. The back yard ordeal was discussed and described to many times for me. I do like the story line. I do recommend this book to those who like reading Helen Hardt's' books.
This is the second book in the Bellamy series. It starts off from the first book. I love this mafia romance story of Falcon (Savage) and Savannah. There are so many twists and turns in this series that I do not want it to end. Keep on reading to find out what happens with our beloved characters.
T Without giving too much away, everything goes sideways. Savannah is pulled back to her past life violently, Falcon is in a situation with the law, Rave has a crisis. There is a kidnapping, an emergence of a longtime friend,. Can Falcon and Savannah come out if this whole? his certainly is not as exciting as the Steele series. Better than the 1st. I have mixed feelings about Falcon.
He cab’t save everyone. Obviously that ship sailed on his live. Savannah has lived with the devil. Yet she walks back in . What is she thinking Love makes you do strange things.
This is the second book in the Bellamy Brothers and it was just as amazing as book one. The dynamic between Savannah and Falcon is amazing. Helen defiantly loves keeping you on the edge of your seat with these cliffhangers... I cant wait for the next book!!! Absolutely Loved it!!!!!
