Forced to marry at a young age to a domineering and brutal railroad tycoon from Charleston, South Carolina, Victoria Steele vowed one day to escape the nightmare she was forced into and five years after her marriage, she got that chance. Victoria wanted to get far away from Charleston, so she settled in San Angelo, Texas and bought a run down saloon. Now, a year later, after restoring the saloon to its former glory, the Dry Gulch Saloon is Victoria's pride and joy, not knowing that someone will come into her life and change it forever.
Severely short and rushed. The plot line could be good, with more drawing out and more plot development. This is a four book series and I don’t think I’m going to waste my time on the rest of the series. Each book is like 20 pages long and I have a feeling the same writing style is going to continue.
