Greg Gutfeld has been called "outrageous and outspoken," neither of which he denies. A libertarian political satirist, humorist, magazine editor and blogger, he is perhaps best known as the host of the Fox News Channel program "Red Eye With Greg Gutfeld." Airing at 3 a.m. ET Tuesday through Saturday, the show covers a variety of topics, including news, entertainment, sports, and gossip. Gutfeld is also a host of FNC's "The Five," a weekday program at 5 p.m. ET.

The Weekly Standard calls him "the most dangerous man on television." According to the magazine, unlike other media darlings, "Gutfeld's stuff actually is subversive, a stink bomb hurled into every faculty lounge, mainstream newsroom, movie studio, and nonprofit boardroom in America."

Prior to joining Fox, Gutfeld was a staff writer at Prevention and editor-in-chief of Men's Health magazine. He later became editor-in-chief of Stuff, where he increased circulation from 750,000 to 1.2 million and created controversy month after month. He helmed Maxim magazine in the U.K., and was a contributor to the Huffington Post, where he became legendary for his "inspired, lunatic ridicule of his leftwing fellow Huffers." He's been published in countless magazines, has appeared in too many profiles to mention, and was only fingerprinted once.

He currently blogs on his own site, The Daily Gut, as well as Big Hollywood.com, where he writes about the news and pop culture of the day, from a conservative libertarian humorous slant. He's appeared on dozens of TV shows, as a regular on "The O'Reilly Factor," while also stopping by on Dennis Miller's radio show and spots on "Opie and Anthony."

I really couldn’t put this one down. Totally entertaining! Greg gives his humor by telling through his career how he became the King of late night. Really liked Gutfeld’s
style of comedy. Always sarcastic and humorous. Greg is always to the point whether it be crude or tongue in cheek humor which is top notch.

There are behind the scenes story of the Red Eye show when the guest showed up drunk.
This memoir is from cover to cover was hilarious and how his show destroyed all late night shows to become number 1 in that time slot. The stories of his childhood and early career filled the pages.

A fast read and funny! 5 stars!!

I really did not know what to expect from this book, but since I think that Greg Gutfeld is very funny and adventurous on his TV shows I figured I give it a shot. Well, it was excellent. Gutfeld provides a no holds bar approach as to who he is and why. Rather than being an a**hole, which he comes across sometimes on TV, he is an intelligent, kind, generous and pretty tolerant person who certainly makes you think. If you are a Gutfeld fan, definitely read this book. If not, it may change your mind, or not, Greg really does not care.

IT'S ALL ABOUT FLIP.
Greg Gutfeld writes with such intelligence and snark, it's almost like sitting with a close friend, having a conversation over a few adult beverages.... without the risk of hangover.

Yes, the book is about the totally unexpected meteoric rise of Greg Gutfeld's late night talk show - GUTFELD! - and how it broke all expectations and WHY.

With glimpses of his early life, rites of passage and hedonistic shenanigans, Greg shows how a brainiac California boy grows up to attend the Berkley, espouse liberal ideals and ends up - currently- as the number one TV host on a decidedly conservative cable news station.
Full disclosure, I started watching Greg's original Fox News show, Red Eye with Greg Gutfeld when it first aired in 2007. GG likes to joke that his main audience was breastfeeding moms, graveyard shifters, and meth heads. I didn't however fit in that demographic, instead I was an insomniac suffering from depression. His show, airing at 2 o'clock in the morning in Texas made me laugh and think. It was a great escape for me, and I was shattered when GG left the show.

Why do I mention Red Eye? Well, a lot of what was so great with that show was utilized on GUTFELD! The revolving panelists, the rapid-fire conversations focusing on issues of the day - some political, some ideological. It was a totally off the wall show, nothing sacred and no viewpoint was safe.

I didn't watch The Greg Gutfeld Show regularly, (the show aired aired on weekends), but I usually watched a few times a month, however I still watched him on The Five (and have since it started). But when it was announced that he would have a new weeknight late show, I made a point to tune in the first night and I wasn't disappointed.

Getting canceled at twenty-five is far worse than fifty-five or sixty-five. Maybe that explains the death of risk and rise of this tattletale mentality.
—Gutfeld, G. (2023). The Comedy Flip. In The King of Late Night
(pp. 128–128). essay, Threshold Editions,
an imprint of Simon & Schuster, Inc.

No canned jokes, no more "orange man bad" instead of true comedy. Everyone at the large networks thought the show would fail spectacularly, it didn't. It drew viewers from all walks of life, all political viewpoints; the guests were known names and obscure comics and YouTubers. No one could understand why the show, and Greg, didn't fall flat on his face. The secret was although GG is on a conservative station, he's not conservative, he's not a Republican, he advocates magic mushrooms, he jokes about his sexual preference and pokes fun at everyone.

Greg Gutfeld zeros in on the hypocrisy of the differing sides of issues and how nonsensical some ideological stands are Lambasting the left and right, Democrats and Republicans, liberals and conservatives, no one is safe if they follow an ideology based on talking points rather than in depth research and information.

He disagrees with the two political parties and instead advocates for the after party. Finding a middle ground on issues that resonate instead of the extreme of both sides.

The King of Late Night is exactly like the shows Greg has hosted. He examines issues, notes the key points, finds a comparable event then shows the hypocrisy of the reactions - how if it happened to someone the media agrees with it's an outrage, how if someone the media agrees with perpetrated it, it's not covered or swept under the rug. And he goes after all political sides, he speaks to the middle not the extremes. He brings common sense to all the hot button issues and asks the reader (and watchers) to think for themselves instead of following talking points or ideology.

I give The King of Late Night 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐because it made me think and laugh (his snarky commentary and ribbing of everyone - including himself - added to my reading experience. GG also includes photos in the ebook, including his adorable dog Gus.

I was given this book as a joke. The person who gave me this book was laughing uncontrollably after I unwrapped the present. I said who is Greg a Gutfeld. All I got was empty stares.

I later, started reading the book and was nauseated. His jokes ,of the part of the book I read, were not funny.. I read 1/3 of the and still had no idea who the author is or was. I skimmed the rest of this “present”.

Well here is what he claims to be

1. He is the top rated talk show host of late night. Really?
2. His show saved fox entertainment. Is that why they had to fork over 75 million to Dominion? Hmmmm
3 tucker Carlson is a mentor. With mentors like him…………….
4 He is well known and is recognized all the time
5. All the big stars, like Robert Dinero, avoid his show even though he is friends with him. Sure…..sure

I am so glad I didn’t purchase this “book”, but it made a great start for our bonfire.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP.

The King of Late Night
by Greg Gutfeld,
Pub 2023, under 250 pages.

The book:
Greg Gutfeld's essay collection about how he destroyed the mainstream late night landscape of heavyweights and became host of the #1 late night show in all of television. With his signature wit and snarky humor Gutfeld takes on the liberal media and details what it took to flip the script on the comedy landscape. In this memoir he reveals never-before-told stories of his upbringing and early career.

How did the former health magazine editor take a show in a throwaway time slot in the middle of the night and turn it into a cult classic? And how did the show Redeye catapult Greg to The Five, the most watched show on TV, and GUTFELD! his own late-night spot with millions of viewers each night?

Greg Gutfeld is a New York Times bestselling author, satirist, humorist, and magazine editor. He is the host of GUTFELD! and cohost of The Five on Fox News. Prior to joining Fox, Gutfeld was editor of Men’s Health magazine. He later became editor of Stuff, helmed Maxim magazine in the United Kingdom, and was host of the legendary cult TV phenomenon Red Eye. He lives in New York City with his wife, Elena, and their show-stoppingly cute French Bulldog, Gus. Learn more at GGutfeld.com

The book primarily deals with the flip. "Where everything you assume to be pretty much stable has been turned on its head..." Some flips have been good, leading to Greg becoming the king of late night and some flips are serious problems. For example the Left (Democrats, Liberals, Progressives and the like) was once the embodiment of free speech, but now have become "bounty hunters" tracking down those they disagree with and destroying their careers. Free speech that doesn't support the leftist viewpoint must be destroyed.

The book begins with a forward and preface and the life of Greg growing up in the 1970s. There's much about his family, his dad's long-term illness and death and Greg's school and career path. With much that is humor and hyperbolic comedy it's not always clear what were life events or exaggerations for a laugh.

Some of the high points or low points, depending on your point of view, include:

Where did the flippin feminist go? The staunch defenders of all things women seem to have gone silent in an age where men are allowed to dominate female-only sports by professing to be women too. Bruce/Caitlyn Jenner's views on women only sports being for women only, is discredited since Jenner is a conservative not a Woke leftist. It's a new gender attack on women and on biological science.

The Left's flip on cops. The rioting Left attacked the cops, but they protected the cop who murdered the unarmed white conservative protester Ashli Babbitt.

Greg flipping cancel culture with its faux outrage, words are violence and assigning the racist label to most anyone working for Fox. Gutfeld got ahead of cancel culture with self-deprecating humor and outing himself about things he said or did in the past that could have been used by the Left to target him.

Virtue signaling climate BS.

Bashing Trump for entertainment, but in a post-Trump era the Woke media can't do it to Biden and the Dems.

Finding and hiring the phenomenal Tyrus and Kat Timpf for his show.

The many flips by the Left now expose their blatant hypocrisy.

"This late night show, Gutfeld!, has now turned the late night category on its head ... one of the flips among many that you see happening. Suburban life is now cooler than cities. Progressive feminists now protect men more so than women. Criminals are now considered victims while their victims are now their oppressors by way of their ancestry."

And there's far more detail.
It was all good, informative and mostly funny.

RICK “SHAQ” GOLDSTEIN SAYS: A VERY... VERY SHORT… AND SMALL… BOOK… LIKE THE AUTHOR... WAAAY BELOW PREVIOUS BOOKS!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I like Gutfeld… but I pride myself on my integrity… especially when it comes to reviewing books I’ve read! This book is written with an absolutely dreadful lack of literary style.

Gutfeld non-stop… delivers an endless format of… a statement (usually arrogant or demeaning)… a shot at parenthetical humor (which ninety-per-cent of the time is absolutely humorless)… or simply… a disparaging or condescending… attempt at cutting humor… (Which falls worse than flat ninety-per-cent of the time!)!

I will attempt to give “potential” readers an analogy of what the heartbeat of the author’s lack of literary writing skills is like in a modern sense:

Think for a moment of the unmistakable talking style AND CADENCE OF BERNIE SANDERS… he talks in a rhythmic like exhale of words that go up and down the vocal scale in the same exact… cadenced… metrical… redundant style… all the while having his hand in the air…bouncing and tapping as if he’s leading an invisible Boston Symphony orchestra….

That is Gutfeld… with his statement… parenthetical unfunny humor… unfunny derogatory comment… and then something to the effect of… “I KID”… or a negative slam at one of his Fox mates… Parino… Waters… Baier… Kilmeade… Earhardt… etc. etc. It is not funny… it is absolutely boring… and amateurish.

And his absolute world record use of the word ***FLIP*** breaks the prior record which was broken at a surprise birthday party for the internationally famous and lovable dolphin… named Flipper… where as everyone knows… all his friends from school simply call him “FLIP”! That record is broken in this book.

Now at this point… I couldn’t have even dreamed that the following record would also have been broken in this minuscule impersonation of a book… but Muhammad Ali’s record … once believed to be a truly unbreakable mark… of how many times one person in one book… could say he’s the greatest… was literally shattered… beyond all belief!

Talk about amazing lifetime records… it was a harrowing experience… but I came oh so close… to having my lifetime record of completely reading start to finish… OVER ONE THOUSAND CONSECUTIVE BOOKS… crushed and brought to an end… due to the utter low-brow-boring-style of Gutfeld’s book…

But thank the L-rd I somehow made it through with sheer determination… and good old fashion pride… I used to think that Joe DiMaggio’s fifty-six game hitting streak… was the greatest and hardest to maintain consecutive streak in history… but if Joltin’ Joe had to read this book at the twenty game mark… the streak would be gone… and it wouldn’t simply be Mrs. Robinson who was burdened with the question: “WHERE HAVE YOU GONE JOE DIMAGGIO?... WHAT’S THAT YOU SAY MRS. ROBINSON?” *JOLTIN’ JOE… TRIED TO READ GUTFELD’S BOOK… AND LEFT AND GONE AWAY!!

"A recurring concept in this book is the reversal of stereotypical stances and assumptions." ~ Greg Gutfeld

I have been a fan of Greg Gutfeld since his show "Red Eye" (2007), which was so controversial that Fox News moved its airtime from 2am to 3 am. So I was excited to read this new book.

In it Greg talks about his upbringing, which contributed a lot to who he is today through his jobs at diversified magazines to his rise to the top with his shows "RedEye", "The Five" and "Gutfeld!".

The "chapters" of the book include titles like The Twitter Flip, Flipping Hollywood, and Defend Those Who Are Under Attack. "Late Night" is kind of a support and self-help manual for those who feel they lack the power to fight back against the left. Including disillusioned Democrats hiding their true feelings. Afraid of being cancelled.

"Wokeism pollutes every brand it invades, because it's a political construct that forces humans to conform to unnatural demands. It puts identity above cooperation and competence" ~ Greg Gutfeld

Like Tucker Carlson, Gutfeld idolized humorist and political writer P.J. O'Rourke. He showed Greg how someone can be Conservative and "cool" at the same time. It was a slow and deliberate "Flip" turning Democrats into the new Blacklisters.

Greg mentions Tucker Carlson a few times in "Late Night". Tucker encouraged Greg to agree to do the late night show now known as "Gutfeld!":

"Of course, I gotta thank Tucker for persuading me to take a risk I was ready to decline completely"

I was disappointed that Gutfeld did not support Tucker more when Fox axed him.

Bringing me to what I didn't like in the book. Greg  talks about how supportive Fox News is of its employees when the firing of Tucker proves that isn't true. He also mentions how open minded his two sidekicks Tyrus and Kat Timpf are, when it is well known that they both troll social media looking for people  who disagree with them or make negative comments about what they say so they can block those people.

I still give "The King Of Late Night" 5 stars.

The book includes great photos, especially of Greg's adorable dog Gus who appears with him on the cover of "The King Of Late Night"!

"Do Not Let Others Tell You Who You Can or Can't Talk To" ~ Greg Gutfeld

You don’t call yourself the King of Late Night unless you intend to brag on yourself. So those who are surprised by the self-congratulatory nature of the book ought to reread the title.

With his trademark wit and sarcasm, author Greg Gutfeld reflects on his rise from magazine editor to the host of the most-watched late night talk show, trouncing every other late night TV show in the ratings. He attributes the success of the conservative Gutfeld! show on Fox News to the freedom to be funny—something liberal hosts/comics have lost (identity politics means there are too many people looking to be offended, so comics have to play it safe).

“One by one we knocked them off. Forget The Daily Show, Samantha Bee (another canceled casualty), then Kimmel, then Fallon. In mere months we started beating Colbert like it was his gang initiation.

“I knew we’d be a success, but I hadn’t thought it would come this fast.

“We became the kings and queens of late night. Every day when the ratings would come out for the night before, it was never bad news. Only good.

“The effects were striking…the critics who had given us weeks to live were now stone silent.”

In the book, he talks about his career, being fired three times (twice by the same boss), being edgy and pushing the envelope, hosting Red Eye on Fox, then co-hosting The Five, the weekly Gutfeld show, the nightly Gutfeld!, the meaning of the exclamation point, and his mockery/teasing of his co-workers (teasing means he likes them).

What I liked about book: the humor, the behind-the-scenes peek at Gutfeld! and The Five and the credit he gives to his co-hosts and co-workers.

This book probably doesn’t have wide appeal, but fans of Gutfeld! will enjoy it. I wonder if any of the late night hosts he beat out have read the book. (Probably not, because I didn’t hear of any heads exploding).

BTW, after some reshuffling at Fox, Gutfeld! is now on at 10 p.m. ET if you want to catch the show.

I really enjoy Gutfeld's style of comedy, it's sarcastic and over-the-top. The book really only had 4 chapters; two very short ones in the beginning, one short one at the end, and then a long middle section with different headers separating ideas. This kind of annoyed me while reading, but I get why there weren't more chapter breaks, it was a free flowing set of ideas that really connected into one point. It honestly felt like a long monologue, where a few different ideas are touched upon but there is the overarching theme that connects them together.
Gutfeld is showing how comedy has shifted in the last seven years. Once Trump was elected, late night comedians and comedians in general poking fun at politics only made fun of the right, and the joke ended up breaking down as 'orange man bad'. The point of the shows also switched from getting an audience to laugh, to getting them to clap. So Gutfeld became the the King of Late Night by bringing laughter back, he does throw red meat out at times to get applause, but he chastises himself and jokes about how lazy it it.
Anyone who watches the show will appreciate the humor, but someone who is unfamiliar with him might find it a bit jarring that almost every paragraph ends with a joke. The story is interesting how he went from editor at several magazines, to a 3am talk show on Fox News to his current roles at the network. Watching Red Eye was my gateway drug into watching Fox News in general.

I don't watch TV, so I haven't watched his show, however, I've liked the humor in his previous books and decided to give the audiobook a listen, and this one didn't disappoint. The main thing I liked about it was showing the multitude of ways the left has flipped-flopped. It really is like Progressives are committed to a random bag full of changing positions and causes that are without any logical connection or foundation. They mindlessly parrot current talking points even if they completely contradict yesterday’s talking points—even taking to the streets to protest and riot. Yes, anything bad can be justified and defended and any good thing can be framed as racist or oppressive and shunned, and any contradiction can be thought as merely apparent. Anyhow, it really seems like lots of people of both the Left and the Right in America have turned off their brains and surrendered themselves to be pulled by the strings of the puppeteer. The deal is that it is like the puppet master has multiple personalities and paranoid schizophrenia. The poor puppets are jerked about so they support one cause and then yanked over to support the opposite cause. What is remarkable is how they rationalize every move they make--thinking themselves persistently on the side of the good and the true.

As Oscar Wilde quipped: "Most people are other people. their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."

So funny and so completely WRONG on multiple levels. I first encountered Gutfeld on Red Eye and became a fan then. He explains how he was selected to host that show, but my personal belief is that he still has an 8mm film of Murdoch in a cheap motel with a Kodiak bear and Janet Reno. It's really the only explanation that makes sense.

Hidden under the poop jokes and the homoerotic claims against his fellow talent at FOX is the underlying philosophy that has carried him through a career that would have destroyed anyone else. Basically, to keep hitting against anyone that gives you $#!^ and then laugh in triumph once you're on top.

He understands the current skirmish of the ongoing culture war better than most, and provides a perspective that nearly no one gets and refuses to even consider. That applies to the left and the right. Two of the few who do get it are Kat and Tyrus. Gutfeld really loves these two (get your mind out of the gutter) and even appreciates his crew for a hundred different reasons (you can get back in the gutter now).

Finally, we should all say thank you to the ghost of Gutfeld's Mom for twisting the psyche of her baby boy so intently, that he can't get enough of us just as much as we can't get enough of him.

Highly recommended for Everyone!

The usual for the tv conservapundit genre: a rambling, often repetitive book with more than enough room to share the author's grievances. Since this one's by a comedian it also includes Elon Musk-level laughs every 3 sentences along with the reliable rightwing funnyman move of setting up a premise then getting so mad they forget to tell a joke.
Gutfeld constantly refers to himself as a wild card with a craaaazy sense of humor who's always taking risks but in the pages of his own memoir he comes off as a banal, boring, identical-to-10 million-others guy with a not-at-all disguised anchor weighing on his shoulder at not being included among mainstream late nite talk shows. Drink every time he mentions the ratings from his captive audience.
Yet the most revealing, and saddest, line in the book was this about the Fox News watchers: "... we gave something to the Right they really needed: friends."
Call Dickens because we've got a Bleak House.

the King lives, long live the King

A great rags to riches story, but it’s more than that. Gutfeld tells his story of rising to the top in the ratings, but also discusses the meteoric fall of the competition, Fallon, Kimmel, and rest of the late night crowd. His theory for his success and their failure is as plausible as any other. Not only is Gutfeld funny, but the regulars on his shows, Dana Perino, Tyrus, Kat Timpf, are equally funny but more importantly they genuinely seem to like each other. Gutfeld believes it’s this chemistry that is largely responsible for their success. Who am I to disagree.
Whether you are on the right, the left or somewhere in between, you will enjoy this book. Unless of course you are insecure and sensitive, in which case, you probably should take a pass.

Greg Gutfeld is a lot of things. That is what makes him so good at what he does.

The descriptions of the different flips give voice to something we are seeing but may not be properly considering. There are a lot of ideas and advice here.

I would have appreciated an accompanying video that included actual flips by Greg, Dana Perino, Kat, and Joe Machi, but especially Tyrus. Jesse Watters can't flip because he has to walk around like he is balancing a book on his head to avoid losing his high-dollar hair.

The only negative critique I can offer is the obvious oppression of Brian Kilmeade. Greg recognizes Kilmead's boundless intelect and lightning fast wit, causing Gutfeld to attack Kilmeade to keep him on the defensive. Poor Kilmeade.

If anyone wants to know Greg Gutfeld's background and outlook on things, this is the book for you. You learn a bit of his family background. His father died of cancer when he was young. He has three older sisters. You learn of his earlier writing/editing career and how he ended up at Fox News. Along the way he explains how he views various cultural and political issues. The book is not told in strict chronological order. He tells you why he likes to tease his friends and colleagues. He roasts his guests on his show. He explains how he has flipped things. So, if you are a fan of his, then, like I said, this is the book for you.

Freaking hilarious! So hilarious and captivating, I read the book in record time. (For me, that means a couple of days. Sadly, life gets in the way and I do have other stuff to do.) Not only does this book reveal Greg's journey through life, but also includes sage wisdom along the way. Know who you are, your natural bent, the innate abilities and talents God has endowed upon you, and run with abandon toward those passions. Don't cower under the empty threats and intimidations of those who can't think for themselves. Be your own person and live out the beauty of your own life. Then maybe you will be on top of the world like Greg Gutfeld. Please read this book.

Often rude and crude, but always to the point, Greg Gutfeld gives an abbreviated and breezy synopsis of how a twice fired magazine editor rose to create not one, not two, not three but four hit night time news shows. (Well, I guess The Five is an afternoon show.) Gutfeld did this by never considering the fact that he didn't know what he was doing or considering the consequences of his outrageous behavior. His advice of being yourself and working your ass off is one that many young people should take to heart.

Hysterical with lots of ribbing directed at his Fox colleagues. Enjoyed it in audiobook more, although it’s not narrated by Gutfeld himself (why not, Greg???)

I switched to print at one point for some clarity during one chapter and to save some of the funny passages for posterity on my kindle-but the jokes get lost a bit in all that text. Much better delivered on audio.

I’m glad that Greg-although still underrated, is finally getting some respect and decent cash with his highly rated Gutfeld! Show.

This is the first of Greg's books I have read. I have watched his show, Gutfeld! on TV and books (to me) are a fun way of sort of going behind the scenes to see who someone really is. I read Kat Timpf's first book and both of Tyrus's. But I digress. In books, you get to see a different side of someone. How their brain works. And unless the person is a total bore, or you don't care (hello books I was required to read in school), you usually come away from said book with a new respect for someone. Greg marches to the beat of a drum only he can hear, and we are all better for it.

Greg talks about his rise on cable TV and how he has been waxing the competition... and why. He claims not to be a comedian, yet he is funny as all get out. Why? He explains it and oddly enough it corresponds with the ideas presented in another book I've read... "The Hidden Tools of Comedy: The Serious Business of Being Funny" by Steve Kaplan.

I will probably read this book again.

Surprised this was a bestseller and that I don’t know who the author was, of course including that they had or still have the most-watched late night television show.

Not an author, just a conservative entertainer I personally didn’t find particularly funny. Similar to Kat Timpf’s bestselling book albeit with more disappointing stable and seemingly less interpersonal insight. At least the author is self-deprecating.

Greg Gutfeld, a conservative political satirist, shares his personal stories, opinions, and insights on topics such as politics, media, culture, and entertainment. The book is a witty and irreverent commentary on the state of late night television and the culture wars in America. Of course, I really enjoyed this book being a huge fan of Gutfeld, Tyrus, and Kat Timph. 4-Stars

If you like Gutfeld, you will like this book. The theme of the book is the big flip - mainly the flip of the left who used to claim comedy, to the right who are now the ones willing to make fun of themselves and speak the truth. Gutfeld took on the left-leaning late night talk shows and beat them. He is beating them nightly in the ratings without celebrities. Greg is fearless. Warning - there is some language, if that bothers you.

While it was interesting to learn about Greg’s work prior to Fox, a lot of it had already been mentioned in his previous books. I had hoped for more about Red Eye as it was such a groundbreaking show and it got Greg to where he is today, but there was only scraps.

This book was interesting in it’s own way but not as entertaining as Greg’s books usually are which took away from the experience.

I respect the right of truly successful people to display an appropriate level of arrogance. Gutfeld earned the privilege and I found him funny. I laughed a lot and learned very little but for what I wanted when I picked up this book, I’m satisfied.

But seriously. His show is hilarious and a necessary prerequisite to reading the book, way more enjoyable that way. Readers will also require a robust knowledge of pop culture to get the most out of this funny book.

Great book!

If you live Gutfeld! The show and the person Greg Gutfeld you will this book. It's a meandering of his life and how is where he is today.

On top of all the stupid elistest liberals late night talk show hosts who think they intelligent. They think the American public are the idiots who need liberal toxicity.

Watch Gutfeld it will make you laugh at the dumb liberals and their insanity. The American public understands Gutfeld.

I will admit that I skipped the introduction. . .couldn’t take some of the “humor”. You may hate him or you may love him (he’s my only celebrity crush) but his tongue in cheek humor and common sense thinking should and will make you think. Loved the message in the book. Surround yourself with people who are going to make you think and question things, mainly yourself.

“The King of Late Night” was good “Gutfeld”. Another very entertaining and interesting excursion into how Gutfeld sees and interprets the world and its inhabitants. The humor is always top notch and if you are not paying attention, you may miss it or your interpretation may not be spot-on. Recommend reading. Experienced as an AUDIO book.

Let me be clear - this book is not for everyone! First you must have a sense of humor and realize that much of this is in the vein of Gutfeld's(!) smart wit and really exaggerated story telling. I read the book with his voice in my head, because I knew that would really get me into his brain. It's about time for a witty book with the anti-woke POV that we all need to hear!
