The glimmer of a full moon streaking across the still water sparked the idea for these books to life. For three decades, the characters have lived in my mind, regaling me with the saga of their lives, allowing me to bask in the beauty of the Winslow land and whispering their secrets in my ear. Finally, they get to live out their lives on paper. The first book in the series “The Secrets of Winslow Manor,” Under the Dark Moon invites you to come along with the Davies family as they discover just how thin the veil between the realm of the living and the realm of the dead is.

I enjoyed this book, just the right amount of character development and surprises along the way. I was especially surprised by some twists at the end and cannot wait for the next one in the series.
