Taylor has accepted the fact that Jesse is a vampire. As she learns more about the paranormal world and the fate that she had been handed, she feels as if her world is crashing.
Chrissy Peebles, a practicing nurse, has always loved reading and writing fantasy from the earliest age she can remember. She plotted every single twist she could think of during bedtime stories for her children. When her little ones begged for more adventures, she felt confident enough to let her overeager imagination and sense of humor spill out into her first novel. She lives in Ohio with her husband, two young kids, one hamster, three dwarf hamsters and cat. When she's not taking the kids to Little League soccer, basketball, or baseball, she loves to snap photos as her favorite hobby.
I'm really sad about this. I really loved the first book. Maybe if I would have read this riht away I would have enjoyed it more, but I just really didn't like this. The romance in this was way too cheesy and honestly just got on my nerves. Also, the girls were too quick to tell everybody that there were vampires around. They might as well have gone to the newspaper and printed an article with all the times they tried to tell someone about it. Of course peope thought they were crazy, and I don't understand why they thought it would go any differently. I'm sad to say I won't be continuing on with this series.
I felt disconnected with the characters and the story that is being portrayed. There is major cheese, make out sessions that really just seemed like filler, and some pretty out of place characters? Monsters? Another dimension? I mean I guess. It is a paranormal series, but it just didn't feel like it flowed with the rest of the world. The book just felt like nonsense all rolled into one story. The first book was intriguing, this one is disappointing.
Love Taylor, her emotions seesaw as they should with this paranormal world she has been thrown into. Jesse is awesome, he is fighting his own demon but is an amazing character. Julie is the ultimate best friend.
this book is one of the best books i have read in my life and i would recommend you all to read this book and the book before this (crush) This book is about a girl who moves into a different environment where she meets the love of her life Tristan
I really enjoyed this 2nd book in the series. A lot of secrets are divulged. There is so much more going on than Taylor ever thought. I love that her and her friends decided to stop being victims and fight back. I am looking forward to seeing how they overcome their pre-determined destiny.
This was an okay read. Didn't really keep me that interested. I will giving up on this series. I'm not sure how they can keep this plot going and interesting for another 7 books.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Now fully immersed in the paranormal world, Taylor’s story deepens. The pacing is relentless, though sometimes at the expense of emotional depth. Jesse’s vampire identity opens up stakes and tension that keep you turning pages.
I have an absolute addiction to audio books which is how I found this author but this series doesn't start on audio books so I had to go back to ebook. Which doesn't happen often for me anymore. I am addicted! I seriously skip my much needed sleep so I can spend time with my book buds. If that doesn't tell you how amazing both this series and this author is I don't know what does. I am hoping I can now fall asleep and dream this story. Ya it's that amazeballs! Gotta download book 3 first though
it was awesome, the Crush saga keeps you on the edge of the couch I have read it so many times. I adore Chrissy Peebles. get everyone involved in this saga. I wish Jesse was real I would love to have met him in a forest out the back of my house. I would fall head over heels him he is so good and rare, I love when Chrissy describes them when they turn to have the most brightest blue eyes ever. imagine running into a guy like that, and found out he was a vampire. I love this saga
This book was full of grammatical errors, that automatically dropped it a star. The biggest one bring the spelling of Jesse's sister's name. Other than that the story in this book was better, it kept moving without a lot of fluff in the middle. The worse part was the final chapter which lost another star in the rating.
Crash being the second book in the Crush Saga and just as good as the first let alone as good as the rest of her books. Chrissy Peebles doesnt let you down when she writes. This time she has continued the story of Jesse and Taylor and how they go along in their journey. Looking forward for the next book.
I loved that even though it was vampires and werewolves, there was a lot of suspense. from one book to the next, it just travels on like you never even finished a book!
Taylor and her friend Julie discover more about the paranormal world than they want to know. Jesse and the werewolves try to keep the girls safe as they face all kinds of danger. This an interesting paranormal romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat. (rec'd an ARC for review)
Taylor has accepted the fact of Jesse being a vampire. As she adjusts to the paranormal world she feels as if everything is crashing ..... Can she survive ?
Amazing book. Hurricane readers book review gave me this book for a honest review
loved the first one but this one fell kinda short. I mean it was good, but not as gripping as the first one. I'll finish the series but not really because it was all that great after the first one.
I loved this book just as much as the first one!! it is one page turner. If you love a good vampire story this a really good series. It is a good book for young people as well as us older people.
Pretty good book. Some parts were a bit slow than they started picking up. Love the mystery, friendship, adventure and more. Still a good book to read. On tot he next one!
What an awesome book. It's like a rollercoaster ride. You just never know what's over the next hill. Can't wait to go on to the next. Happy Reading Enjoy
