Seeking God's Heart

Rate this book
God Loves Us! This most fundamental truth is one we often miss. Oh, we know it in our head. God loves us. Yes, we know that, so we move on to deeper theology. More insight into God’s Word. We tackle the deep truths of the Old Testament, the Apostle’s letters, and the Gospels. We seek new truths, more insight into how to live and our purpose as God’s children. We want to serve Him. We want to live upright, Spirit-filled, sacrificial lives for His Glory. And yet something holds us back. But what? If we have Jesus Christ within our hearts, why don’t we live like it? Why is it so hard? Didn’t He die to set us free? So why do we seem to remain in bondage? Why are our lives so busy, stressful, fearful, and unfulfilling? Can we truly experience complete joy, peace, and holiness this side of Heaven? Or are we left to merely endure life on Earth until the Day of Glory comes?

Seeking God’s Heart is a devotional study that focuses on one simple truth: God loves us. We may know this in our head, but what about in our hearts? Do we really believe it? Do we really understand what that means? Do we allow the most profound truth to change and transform us? Do we act as if His love is something we must earn rather than just accept? From Adam and Eve, to the messages of the Prophets, to Jesus Christ and the words of His closest followers, the message of God’s love is not only there, it’s the key to everything! And it is my prayer as you do this study, as you read about my own journey of seeking God’s Heart, you will go deeper into the reality of His love for you: That you will allow that simple but extremely vital and deep truth to change your life.
