Despite Penny's troublesome stubbornness and rebellious nature, she defies expectations, proving her worth time and again. Raised within the hardships of the foster system, her life was already a constant battle. But now, with a global zombie virus and haunting trauma consuming her thoughts, she must unravel the truth and determine who she can rely on in her fight for survival.
I may be zombie'd out. Characters from series to series blend together, you get the "good soldier", young people searching for family, certain misfits that find each other, evil survivors and a corrupt army. Some of the characters in this, while likeable, just don't ring true to circumstance. That said, this is a good solid zombie read.
