This was definitely one of the best books I've ever read on this subject! The author did a great job of explaining and illustrating various passages on how the enemy works, and then went further to teach how to live and walk without allowing him to have even the slightest control of your life! Scripture warns the believer in Christ that deception will grow even more common as the day of the Lord draws nearer. This is a must read and God spoke very profoundly to specific areas in my life that I need to guard in this very area.

Be forewarned this book will step on your toes! So put on a pair of steel toe boots and get ready to grow in your spiritual walk.

It may not always be what we WANT to hear but this book is full of so much stuff that we NEED to hear! If you truly want to grow in your walk with the Lord this book can change how you live your life.

This book tells its readers what they need to hear and not what they want to hear. We learn through that obedience embraces life and disobedience death. I recommend this book to each person who desires to reach a deeper level of intimacy with God while getting as far as possible from the enemy of our soul. The author is sincere in what he shares. Interesting if not overly inspiring. Even as a person of faith, there is something odd in reading about the Devil in the 21st Century. It doesn't make it any less true or real, it just is an odd juxtapossition. Maybe that's his best trick...

This book is brilliant and challenging. It explores the need for obedience in serving God and explains the schemes and tricks of the enemy. It looks at rebellion and how our attitude affects our relationship with God. There is some challenging stuff in this book, I highly recomend it.

Very convicting book on the importance of obedience. Bevere says obedience will shut Satan out and keep you close to God and under God's protection. Rebellion, or taking back control of your life, will leave you open to Satan's mischief and lies. Great information.
