When someone dear to them both is struck down, Kelsey and Liv must join forces again. If I could rate this higher than a 5 star, I would!!
Fans of this series will absolutely love how Olivia's book played out and all the many other moving pieces that made this book so phenomenal!

I will say if you haven't read any other books in the Thieves Series, you should at least read Rebel Queen and Rebel Guardian in order to appreciate this book. Honestly, you should read from book one to get the most enjoyment because this series is just that good!!

Without giving anything away, you will feel all the feels, you will scream out hell yeah several times, you may even cry like I did with one special moment between Casey and Olivia, you will love the ending and you will curse Lexi for making us wait for the next book!!!
There's one chapter, especially that stands out at the end of this book where I felt like a movie was playing out in my head as I read the words!

I reiterate in each review of this series just how detailed this world is and the characters written so well that I have emotional and physical reactions as the book plays out on my head!
This is one of those series I wish would be made into a show because it's that good, and the world building pulls the reader in and doesn't let go!

4 stars. Yay! This was a fun edition to the Outlaw/Thieves world. This book is focused on Kelsey and Olivia "Liv" Carey's POVs. I won't go into to much detail on the plot because I don't want to spoil anything. But I will say Lexi Blake is a genius. There are so many moving parts, characters, and storylines in this wild, crazy world she has built. I love it. It was hard being in Liv's head at points. She has been through so much and has such turmoil and emotional angst. But she got better and stronger as the story went on. Kelsey is still awesome and it's fun to see her happy and pregnant. Overall, this was a great episode of this series and I can't wait for more. I love this paranormal series. It is full of friendship, love, fun characters, and humor. I want to see all the characters happy so I can't wait for more books and I hope they come soon!

I love when I switch my brain from "standard" romance read to PNR books. I have to say I did find some things not connecting but that's because this is the first book I'm reading in the series so you should read the rest before this one just to experience it better. Now back to the review :

I loved the plot line for this book. As said I was missing a few info but that did not take away anything from my enjoyment. Kelsey and Olivia are phenomenal characters alongside all the family and friends. The book takes you through ups and downs, I even teared up a few times, made me laugh out loud (who knew Lucifer had jokes) and the ending put me on edge because now I'm invested and I'm here for it.

Wow! Intruly do not have the words to describe what this book made me feel. I loved everything! The characters, the setting, the plot! Just everything!
I lived to see Kelsey and her man, but what I really adored was Liv. Her journey to overcome the brainwashing by Myrddin was great to read and I totally immersed myself in the hellplane and I enjoyed discovering new characters and new character traits on old characters.
I really hope we'll see more of Lilith soon and that she'll be able to help Evan. And yeah... When is the next book coming? 🤣

4.5stars-

\THE REBEL WITCH is the third instalment in Lexi Blake’s adult OUTLAW erotic, paranormal/fantasy series set in the world of the author’s world of the THIEVES. This is the continuing story of witch Olivia Carey, and guardian/hunter/wolf Kelsey Atwood. THE REBEL WITCH should not be read as a stand alone as many of the events of the current timeline are as of a direct result of the previous instalments and the original THIEVES series. Kelsey’s story begins in book six of THIEVES. I strongly recommend reading both series in order.

SOME BACKGROUND: Approximately twelve years earlier, along with the Queen of all Vampire / and the wife of the high priest of the Seelie and the Unseelie Zoey Donovan-Quinn, and king of the vampires Daniel Donovan, Kelsey Atwood travelled through a portal, a magical painting where they would spend four days in the land of the Faery but upon their return discovered twelve years in real time had passed, twelve years in which a war between the supernatural creatures killed many, destroying friendships and families, leaving Kelsey struggling for the years that she lost with her friends, husbands, family and children.

Told from first person perspective (Kelsey and Olivia) THE REBEL WITCH follows in the aftermath of the return and imprisonment of witch turned demon Olivia Carey. Olivia appears to have been the confident and uncaring slave to a man determined to destroy them all but Olivia has been missing for as long as her best friend Kelsey, and upon her return, Olivia is steadfast in the belief that the people she once called family and friends abandoned her, and left her to be used and abused. A curse has threatened the life of someone close, forcing Olivia to work alongside the people she blames for the past torture , torture that has ultimately blocked her magic, leaving her broken and lost. As Olivia struggles through the memories of the past, it will become readily apparently not everything was as it appeared to be. Returning to the Underworld at Lucifer’s command, in an effort to save their friend from final damnation, Olivia and Kelsey along with a large number of family and friends including Kelsey’s mates Trent Wilcox and Gray Sloane, find themselves at a crossroads, when Olivia is unable to mediate her own memories of truth and lies.

The world building is complex and multi-layered; detailed and intricate with many of H*ll’s more notable characters including Lucifer Morningstar and his first love Lilith. We are up close and personal with Olivia’s memories, both real and false, as our heroine must come to terms with what she had done, and with whom she has recklessly and unknowingly betrayed.

THE REBEL WITCH is a story of secrets and lies, magic and mayhem, betrayal and vengeance, manipulation and control, family and friendships, forgiveness and love. The premise is meticulous and elaborate; the romances are fated; the characters are broken, determined, desperate and lost. THE REBEL WITCH ends on a cliff hanger-you have been warned.

I have been waiting for long to find out what happened to Olivia and why she changed so much. Especially when she was so good before, then again I remember what happened to her before and how she lost all her power.

This book picks up where the last one left off, so you have to read this series in order because it doesn’t make sense if you don't. You have to start with the thieves series.

Olivia has been a part of Myrddin's witches for 12 long years when Kelsey and Casey and everyone else left her, of course not by choice but still she was left behind. She was trying to find her people but got stuck in the council building and had to choice but to try to survive.

So far we've seen what has happened since Kelsey and crew has come back and what they have been up to and what they are trying to do. Now we get a glimpse into Olivia.

To see what Myrddin really did to her and how he warped her mind it broke my heart. And the things she was fed and didn’t know what was real or not.

She was also left alone by the same people she trusted, even though they didn’t have a choice she felt abandoned and had to survive by any means necessary.

And watching Kelsey trying to get her friend back and not giving up on Olivia because Olivia never gave up on her. The true meaning of friendship. I loved this and even when times got tough and Kelsey wanted to give up she didn’t.

I loved watching them work through their issues and the past and watching to see how they would move forward if they do. Olivia was so adamant that she was right and didn’t want to hear anything else.

Ohh and Casey and how he too didn’t want to give up on Olivia because she was his everything and he believe he could love her enough to come back to him.

Kelsey and Casey were so steadfast and believed that no matter what Liv was still in there and they would be able to help her.

Things go as they usually do when you think you have a plan, not as planned at all. Everything go insane and some things are revealed but there are still so many questions.

We also get a glimpse into Evan condition that she's been trying to hide and lets just say she's not ok with the way that things are working out for her. And poor Fen, all he wants is Evan but she can’t bring herself to accept her new reality.

I really cannot wait to see what the next book holds, I feel like we keep getting pieces of the puzzle but not the full puzzle yet. Hopefully they next book will be out soon.

It’s been two months since this book has been out and I still don’t know how to process what happened in this story. We have betrayal, shocking revelations, twists and turns, and of course a lot of fun sexy times, all bearing the mark of one of my favorite authors, Lexi Blake. If you ever asked yourself how someone seemingly evil can be redeemed, this is the story for you. But the best part of this story is that at its core it is about two best friends struggling with the past, and how their bond is stronger than any curse, any choice, any deed.

Lexi Blake y’all. That is all I can say to start this review. I’ve sat on this review for so long, because honestly I didn’t know how to articulate my feelings. But I feel like I’m now ready… ish.

The story shows Kelsey struggling to understand if her best friend, her soul sister, the woman who saved her when she needed it most, Olivia, is redeemable. She thinks she is, but everything points towards her being beyond saving. The bigger question is: does Olivia want to be saved?

I loved how the story approached the subject of redeeming someone. I’ve always loved complex stories that show good, strong motivation for characters, be they good or evil. The thing that always attracts me to Blake’s stories is that things are never what they appear at first or even second glance. There’s always something hiding behind the curtain, you just need to hang on and trust that she will reveal everything in the end. And boy did she reveal some things in this book.

Kelsey has already lost so much time and so many precious memories that she lost with her family however the danger is far from over. One of the best friends she thought she not only no longer bears that title but they find themselves working against each other until she realizes that only if they work together will they be able to save those they care about.

Olivia believes that Kelsey is her enemy as she wasn’t there when she needed someone the most. She comes looking for vengeance but when someone she cares about is in jeopardy she will do whatever is necessary to save him and that includes partnering with Kelsey.

This story takes us on an adventure filled with twists and suspense as the truth about the past is revealed. The characters are captivating and the story is compelling which will have ensnared from beginning to end.

Well deserved five stars

Cheesy Krispies! Can a plotline spanning a whole series of books get anymore convoluted and twisted?
Lexi Blake can write a plotline like no other.
I'm not giving any spoilers away, because if you are reading the series you would know how it works, however, if you have not read any of the previous books in the series I honestly can't advise starting with this one.
It is a cracking read, with individual personalities and motivators that draws the reader in, and keeps them tied to the book, but all of the subplots and references would not hold the interest if you have not already read the previous books.
Olivia takes a long and twisting journey since Summer, but Kelsey is back and she wants justice, Hunter style.
I loved seeing Faith (aka Duffy) again!
So looking for to the search for Mia and the Days.

WOW….i loved Reading The Rebel Witch. So many twists, turns, things going sideways, secrets, revelations, surprises, drama, angst, emotions (characters), all the feels (readers), and soo sooo very 🔥🔥! I could not put it down. I have soo many different reactions to Tix. I really hope for Kelsey’s sake that Tix is joking about being able to communicate with Rainier! I cannot wait for The Rebel Seer! I really am looking forward to Rhys and Shahidi’s story and am on pins and needles (figure if speech lol) waiting for Lee, Dean, and Mia’s story!!! I highly recommend The Rebel Witch, The Outlaw: A Thieves Series, and Lexi Blake as an author!! I have never been disappointed with any of Lexi’s books no matter the genre or trope!! I have read almost all of Lexi’s books and I would recommend Reading any of her books!! Happy Reading!!

I was Olivia Carey, and he had no power over me.
(Note: I am totally digging this call out to Labyrinth - even if it wasn't intended I am taking it that way!!)

Lexi Blake does it again and to be honest I am not at all surprised. The latest book in the Thieves world is absolutely amazing - it furthers the storyline perfectly, gives us more insight into what happened the day that our beloved characters had their lives turned upside down, and is a testament to the power of friendship and the need to have good people in your life. I loved this book and I cannot wait for the next one - I desperately need to see how it is going to end (thought that won't happen for a few more books at least!).

This is the third book in the Outlaw: A Thieves Series and it is not a standalone. It picks up where the last book left off. It is a challenge to write a review as there are so many moving parts and I do not want to give anything away. Ms. Blake is a master of imagination and she crafts worlds that I just want to sink into and stay for hours on end. This book has all the feels. It will bring a smile to your face, make you laugh, make you cry and has an ending that will have you begging for more. Get ready for a wild and crazy ride from beginning to end. I cannot wait for the next book!

You can always make your way back home. That is the overarching message of this book. The Thieves gang never disappoints. This is one of the best series that I have ever read and considering I’ve been following this group for almost a decade, it’s always like visiting family when I get a new addition. I love Liv’s story it broke my heart and warmed it at the same time. I’m glad that her story was told. And dare I say I enjoyed our time in Hell? Can’t wait to see to catch up with what’s happening in Faery with the other half of our crew.

This book is a phonominal addition to the series. I love seeing Kelsey trying to deal with her pregnancy while at the same time on how to deal with Olivia. The test position of Olivia trying to get back her life when she seemingly betrayed all her friends and her friendship with Kelsey with all of, the other politics going on in the world was fantastic. All of the kids stories added to the plot and I really loved seeing Olivia’s journey. It was a wonderful time to spend in this world again.

Excellent again

The story continues. (the series must be read in order) Kelsey is back and feisty and hungry and pregnant!! This is a transitional book that connects some of the characters and brings back Lucifer as a probable major player. The kids are grown and independent and Kelsey has to learn how to relate to them now. Meanwhile she is struggling to rescue Liv, a difficult task. Enjoyable all around.

Olivia's story

The Rebel Princess was supposed to be the next book but this story definitely needed to be told first, helping to lay the foundation for Evan's adventure but also filling in a lot of blanks for Olivia. It was exciting to see all of them in action and to see Olivia realize the truth. Ms. Blake does it again with another well-written book and I look forward to the next part of this saga. Highly recommended.

Let’s start with good.
The children that are not longer children. They were great.
Lee so far is my favorite. Dean was there but not really present since he was hit with the spell.
Eva was ok. (Bat, seriously?) there are no words, that brought it down to wtf. And I don’t curse.

Main characters have never been my fav.
On this book they went down as well. Skipped most of the pages they were included.
Why did I read the book? Because I am gluten for punishment.

5 stars for The Rebel Witch by Lexi Blake

Another great read for an amazing series. It's such a powerful storyline. These characters are truly amazing. Lots of angst, love , fear, lots of feelings, and more love. Even though the kids are not blood relatives, they are truly a family. Did not want this storyline to end, but I can't wait for the next installment of the Thieves series.

Lexi Blake is a genius, and her paranormal Thieve's series are exceptional if you haven't read them you must start now. There is so much action with so many moving parts, characters, and storylines in this crazy world.
Filled with love, fun, friendship, and humor between the characters. I love it. Liv's has been through so much and has such turmoil and emotional angst, watching her get better and stronger during the story as it progresses. Kelsey is still awesome and fun to see her so happy and pregnant. This is was another great addition to the series, I can't wait for more.

Lexi has done it again! This book like all of her other books was an emotional rollercoaster! I absolutely can't wait until the next book and am sad I have to wait a whole year! I'm glad Liv is back on the side she belongs on but am sad for Fen and Evan. I hope they find out where the Days are in the next book.

So exquisite!

Every story in this series is incredible. The characters make you laugh and cry. That says everything about how they have been developed over the series. I find once I have three chapters left I have to treat it like dessert and read a.little at a time knowing it will end soon. I look forward to the next book. Write on Lexi!!!

This book was awful. It could have been half the length if it didn't repeat itself every chapter. I'm not sure why it has so many 5 star reviews. Kelsey does nothing but cry in a corner and Liv is a bitch and its held together by a flimsy predictable plot. What happened to my Thieves series! Those books were phenomenal. I hope Rebel Seer is better. I guess every series has to have a dud.

I don't really like spin-offs. Yet I liked the Kelsey spin-off. I just can't do a spin-off of a spin-off. I just don't care about those secondary characters and definitely not enough to make them the main characters.
