A beautiful romance and I'm giving it a 4.5 star rating. I enjoyed Clayton and Zora. Their differences in belief and relationship status were intriguing. They made for a cute and comical couple. Serena was the sweetest thing about this story for me. It is a great look at a blended family with such an impactful history on both ends.

The romance was well done. The faith aspects took my heart. The characters were great and the storyline was well written. I truly enjoyed this novel. Definitely would recommend it.

Hopeful

There's more than one type of mourning; Clayton and Zora were each suffering through different versions. And a child, Clayton's child, brought them together. Sometimes children see things that adults are too muddled down to see. And sometimes, even well-meaning pastors get it wrong. God gives us what we need in His own timing. We just need to be open to receive. Great message.

I don't know WHY I'm just discovering this author. I just completed this excellent, highly recommended three part series and Ms. Arceneaux has become one of my favorite authors.

Tropes: Small town romance , strangers to lovers , single dad

General thoughts: There were times in the book that I was pleasantly surprised with how the story was going . I went into the book predicting the end but it wasn’t as straight forward as I thought it would be.
The book is filled with learning nuggets and encouragement!

Book overview:
A definite must read
Single dad and Pastor Clayton is struggling to get over the loss of his wife Nina , because of that ,he has been very closed of in term of allowing his 10 year old daughter interact with the very thing that reminds him of his late wife Nina “Art!

Ms Zora is the art teacher at the community centre and newly divorced, nursing a broken heart.
She is new to the town and is looking for a fresh start. She is drawn to a young girl Serena who seems to be very talented when it comes to her art. She realised that she is very timid in class and takes a special interest in. She didn’t know that her interest in Serena will lead her to hope in life, love and growth.

Her first encounter with Serena ‘s dad Clayton wasn’t a pleasant one , but when she learns the resistance of him trying to keep Serena away from art, her heart soften.

Love is Hopeful

Zora and Clayton deserved the love they found with each other although it wasn’t easy
Clayton was a pastor still dealing with the death of his wife after 3 years and struggling with his own faith and Zora didn’t have any relationship with God at all so they were unevenly yoked right at the beginning of their encounter
But there was a higher plan in the midst of their encounter including adorable Serena, Clayton’s 10 year old daughter
The characters were relatable and the life lessons were evident throughout the story
Very enjoyable read and highly recommended

"Love Is Hopeful" by Faith Arceneaux

My Sentiments:

'Love Is Hopeful' was a fantastic read about two people, Zora and Clayton, finding each other and Clayton's ten-year-old daughter Serena bringing them together. This was a read where God can give one what they need at the right time, where broken hearts and wounded souls can be restored. Yes, hope can lead to happiness from grief and divorce, as it did for Zora, Clayton, and Serena.

This book is romantic and an emotional read. It's about a pastor who lose his wife and have to raise his 5 yrs old daughter . They were both grieving no happiness until pastor Clayton daughter Serena met Mora who is an art teacher at the center. Mora and Serena became friends she would listen to her, but pastor was not happy with the art, it bring back lots of memories. Eventually Pastor Clayton met Mora and which makes Serena a happy girl. It's a lovely Christian Romance . Thanks Faith Arceneaux for this lovely story.

Grief

Hmmm, I’m curious why Clayton & Serena weren’t both in grief 😔therapy/therapist⁉️ Clearly, five years afterwards this family was still suffering 🧐‼️Meanwhile, “Love Is Hopeful: A Christian Romance” - Book 3 was eventually a beautiful love story. However, it was painful to witness Clayton, Senena & Zora suffer through the various stages grief without clinical 🙁& or professional support systems😢‼️

Being Yoked

The story of Zora and Clayton is a testament to Gods healing power. They both had suffered loss although differently. People many times build up walls after loss that are difficult to overcome until the right person or opportunity presents itself. Both Zora and Clayton tore down those walls for each other with Serena as their muse to find love.

Beautiful

This story takes you on a journey of how hope can lead to happiness even when you least expect it. Zora and Clayton were in different stages of their grief - her from divorce and him from death yet God had a plan. Enjoyable read that you won’t want to put down.

There is No Greater Love

Once more, Faith (the author) has woven a fabric of how love of God draws a non-believer. Zora may not have acknowledged God, yet He drew her to Himself. Then the reward... Beautiful. Wonderful story.

Enjoyed

I enjoyed this story as I have the order two. It has been a good series. I didn’t love Zora at first because she was a little too flighty but in the end in glad she and Clayton found love.

enjoyed the series

I enjoyed the series. I throughly loved following along to witness and read God’s love. I think book is my favorite out the series. The element of the single father and him pushing himself while still learning to move on in spite of their situation is moving.

Very Nice to Read w/o Fear

It's very nice to read a book that is not ladened with profanity and trifling behavior. It was refreshing to leave something to the imagination. Also great that it wasn't preachy.

A very slow burn

I appreciate the way the author took us through all of the emotions of each character. I only rated it lower because I wanted more focus on their intimacy. It’s understandable why it took so long to develop as both were grieving and learning to trust.
