Being held prisoner by a man who claims to be her husband. Genivieve Belaveau doesn't remember who she is. With her magic bound she is unable to protect herself from this madman. Her only chance is escape and the opportunity presents itself in the most unlikely way.

Now on the run, she is determined to live her life in secrecy and become a person she could be proud of since she has no personal memories to know who she once was. She makes her way to Atlanta and attempts to lead a normal life. But without proper documentation though, it's hard to find a legit job.

Following the advise of local S and M club owner, Leo, Genivieve heads for a tattoo shop and the owner named Craven in an attempt to obtain identification. She was surprised when the owner practically attacks her for being someone she isn't. Little did she know that her trip to that tattoo shop would spark a whole chain of events that would bring about the next Fey-Elven war.

Will Genivieve be able to step into the role she was meant to play in order to, not only, finally find the revenge she has wanted for centuries but to find the life she never knew she wanted.

This is an awesome series. I'm a bit bummed that this is the last book, because I really liked the characters, the settings, the plot, and everything else. In this book Vieve loses her memory because of the selfish Elven king that wants to keep her has a spell cast upon her. It's quite upsetting to read about our Vieve not being the warrior we know she is, not being able to defend herself against anything, and just trying to survive without being tracked down after her escape.
I enjoyed it, and the rest of the series too. Well written, intriguing, and completely magical!

"He wanted to be my everything. My savior, lover, husband, abuser, punisher, doctor, only confidant....when would it end?"

Abducted when she least expects it, Genevieve finds herself under the control of King of the Elves, Leland an Dorn. Not knowing the truth from lies she struggles through each day not knowing whether she will be whipped and beaten or shown affection. She has no ideas as to who she really is or how she ended up married to such an evil man.

Leland thinks he has hit the gold mine when he is able to obtain his "Treasure" back. He was able to put multiple spells to ensure Genevieve does not remember anything but what he tells her. Not only that but he is able to keep any from scrying to try to find her. What he doesn't expect is that even though Vieve may not remember her past with him, she still has no desire to stay locked in his castle. With some quick thinking and a little help she is able to free herself of Leland. Doing everything she can to live a normal human life, but being abducted by crazy Vampires is not on that list. She is again taken against her will and given to the Fey. Not knowing any of the people that are around her all she knows is that she needs to stay safe.

Raynon is slowly losing his control. He has no idea where his mate was taken but he knows that Leland is behind it and plans his revenge with or without the councils approval. When a call comes in telling him to check his guards, he finds his "Petal" locked in a holding cell begging for her life. Now war is at hand. Revenge must be paid. To live and worry free life, Leland must die, Genevieve must recover her lost memories, and future heir's are to be delivered!

I enjoyed reading all of these books and S.L. Gavyn has made a fan of me! I look forward to reading more of her work! And I enthusiastically recommend these books to all my friends!

"Then he kissed me and I was all his. What the hell was wrong with me? Oh well, it was a small price to pay to have everything I never knew I wanted."

Sensational!!!

You ever get that feeling of cheering when the wicked witch from Oz was finally killed!? Yeah, that’s about what I did when I reached the end of this book! What a rocky ride they have all been on! With wonderful and terrifying moments and it all ended wonderfully!

I love the style that S.L. Gavyn writes in. It’s so compelling it’s difficult to put down. So twisted it’s like racing down a mountain road at full speed! (In a good way!) Or maybe like riding a rollercoaster in the dark because most of the time what you THINK is going to happen doesn’t, and what DOES happen is so utterly unexpected it leaves you with your mouth hanging open in shock! I can’t wait to read more of her books!

Not that great

The first book started out great. It was action packed with a kickass heroine and really good story that made me want to continue.
By this book, it was like I was reading something from lifetime. The main character definitely cried more in this book. I found myself glancing over pages and glad it was over. Kind of dissatisfied with this book.
