When it's too hot in the kitchen, you risk a crash and burn.

Tucker:
Sexy owner of Two Fourteen. He's been a part of Kissing Springs fabric since he returned home from war with little more than his discharge papers and his rucksack.

Years later, Tucker has built his restaurant to be the talk of the county. His family is whole and close. He volunteers, helps his neighbors. He should be happy, but living in the Romance Capital of the South has its drawbacks. Every twosome coupled up for a romantic dinner reservation only reminds him what he's missing. The one thing he swore he never wanted.

Bree:
Tucker's spunky pastry chef is a genius of sweets. It's a good thing, because her personality is pricklier than a cactus. And she likes it that way.

Bree has no use for relationships, romantic or otherwise. She learned a long time ago, the only person you can rely on is yourself. Being a lone wolf was never a problem until she landed her dream job at Two Fourteen. Years of hard work paid off. So why can't she stop thinking about her boss's backside? Too many hours in the kitchen, that's what it is. Not his ridiculously handsome face and big heart that she can't seem to ignore.

Kitchen romances are off limits, but Bree's never been great at following the rules. When push comes to shove, which one of them will break first?

Welcome to Kissing Springs, the Romance Capital of the South.

In this collection of steamy summer romances set in Kissing Springs, nine authors bring you standalone stories from single dads to second chances, ex-military to sports romance. By the end of three seasons there will be 27 books in total from the authors in the Kissing Springs small town collection.

Annie Rae lives in Texas with her own sexy, suited mountain man (beard included), two kids, and a house full of pets. The self-proclaimed sunflower loves to be outside or on the water.

Annie loves escaping into a great novel where you ride the ride and feel the emotions of great characters, laughing with them, crying with them, and missing them after "the end." It is a dream come true to be able to write about protective heroes, fated love, and happy endings.

Something's cooking in the kitchen

Bree and Tucker's story is full of fun, hard work, dreams, helping one another, meanness you don't see coming and above all.....love. Annie always puts the characters and story together in such a way you won't want to put it down.

Bourbon & Boss follows Tucker, our sexy head chef of Two-Fourteen. He's a leader in the community, a veteran who puts his family and his business first.

After years busting his butt, success is in his grasp. However, desperation and a lack of time have backed him in a corner, and now rash decisions are biting him in the ass.

His kitchen is in disarray, but instead of fixing the problem, Tucker can't take his mind off his tasty pastry chef. She went from off limits to impossible to resist.

Once he gets his hands on her, one taste won't be enough.

This is my first book by Annie Rae, and I am a big fan. Well written with intriguing, relatable characters, and plenty of conflict, angst, and that all important steam, Bourbon and Boss checks all the boxes!
Can’t wait for the next in the series!
