Imagine falling in love at first sight with the man your mother raised you to hate. 😅 This was a reality for Jewell. Her mother had been big mad with her former bestie, who also happened to be Ameer’s mother as well as the creator of a rival company in the beauty industry, for years and forbid her from having any contact with them. Jewell was terrified of disobeying her mother but Ameer wasn’t having any of it. His heart knew what he wanted and refused to let a family feud take that away from him. This was a sweet and incredibly spicy forbidden romance. There wasn’t much angst and very minimal conflict aside from the main premise.

Have you ever picked up a book and regretted not starting it sooner? Well, "Love and Legacy" is definitely that book for me. It's a fast paced, entertaining read that I absolutely devoured. Can you imagine being swept off your feet by a man you were raised to hate? Ameer is everything I could want in a book boyfriend , possessive, sexy, determined, and with a dirty mouth that I can't resist. He definitely earned a spot on my top book bae list. But don't underestimate Jewell, she's a boss in her own right and won't let anyone get in the way of her bag or her choices. Together, Ameer and Jewell are a match made in heaven, with chemistry so intense that they can't help but ravage each other whenever they're together. The vibes in this book are perfection and will make you want to smack your momma (figuratively, of course). However, I do wish that there were more details about their dates and the conversation between Jewell and her mother. The ending also felt a bit rushed, a few more chapters of them openly dating or an epilogue would have been the cherry on top of this delicious book. Overall, I still loved reading "Love and Legacy" and can't wait to see what else this author has in store.

I loved Ameer and Jewell’s story. It was instant chemistry when they met and then they find out their families are rivals. But their hearts want what they want and they have to figure out how to be together despite their families’ rift. This book was so good and whew, it was spicy too. Loved it and glad to see Ms. Rooksy write something new.

There wasn’t a thing I didn’t like about this story. The love between Ameer and Jewell was everything! The sex…icing on the cake. Author Rowdy Rooksy did her thing! This was my first read by her, but definitely not my last.

They are supposed to be enemies because of family rivalry but their attraction is just palpable!!! I was like boy!!! The smut!!! a++ I loved this.

Novella was okay. Instalove and mostly smut. Almost each chapter had a love scene. There wasn’t too much drama just one holding onto the pain of the past.
