In his past life, the beta Su Liang dared to seduce Lu Zhizhao, the future of the Lu family, and eloped.
In the end, after burning down all his boats with no hesitation, Su Liang realized that he was nothing but a big joke.
Su Liang gave up everything, and died silently on the day after Lu Zhizhao’s marriage to someone else.
Reliving a life, the courageous fool of that year finally learned to accept his fate.
This time, Su Liang honestly accepted that he was an unfavoured and mediocre beta, feeling that this bland and undemanding life was quite good.
After all, the way of the salted fish is the best way.
But after just a few peaceful days, he was sent into the forbidden area, in the depths of the noble’s compound.
Lu Taipan – who used to be a big boss, is now a big boss, who will always be the kind of sinister and ruthless big boss who would make everyone tremble with fear when he comes out.
However, it was this top-level alpha who single-handedly supported the Lu Family, but suffered from pheromone disorder.
And, the place where he rested, was a forbidden place in the eyes of everyone.
No matter how many things Su Liang thought about, he didn’t expect Lu Taipan to embrace him in the frenzy of his pheromone disorder.
Then, he bit the back of his neck with a single bite.
“Your pheromones…. smells good.”
The devil-like man, like a beast, scented the pheromones on his body, and muttered greedily.
Su Liang was horrified to discover that Lu Taipan and him became more and more intimate. He, who was supposed to be a beta, somehow began to develop unusual pheromone glands.
From a beta, he was now an omega.
Moreover, he was an omega who matched perfectly with Lu Taipan.
This is the MC second life you would expect that he would be a little….. tough, cautious and cold but he is just a little cutie which I don’t.. prefer. ML is the traditional misunderstood by everyone, evil, unapproachable.. etc you get it
I don’t want to start the year with a dnf but here I am
I'm a little disappointed. I have read quite a few ABO novels and many of them have gender discrimination, especially against O. For this novel, Os are considered precious/ necessary as they play a similar role to guides from sentinel/guide. However, due to the plot, this novel has one of the worst treatments for Os. It was really horrible and disgusting.
Initially, I really pitied the scum gong who just seemed to be implicated by 2 families scamming. But he just gradually became worse, until I'm not sure if his brain is braining. Like he's not only EQ dense but also extremely stupid and gullible (but not cute at all). He was just frustratingly stupid.
I would have also love to read NTS's punishment. It was hinted, but scum gong also mentioned another punishment. So I wasn't sure eventually it was which for the 2nd life.
For MC and ML's interation, in a way, it was really toxic? I have seen many overbearing and possessive MLs, but this ML really takes the cake. Based on my understanding it seems that MC was mostly... uhh drained. MC also was half-hearted, he's like yes and he's like no. but eventually towards the end, it seems to me that MC has always been yes? idk, it was just based on a character's sentence.
I felt the ending was a little rush. Can you imagine the future summarized in 4 bloody sentences ? I thought it would have been expanded in the extras, but no we get some inexplicable AUs. I already know they are together, WHY THE AUs?!?! I wished we had stories about buns. TT
Personally, this book was really not up to my taste. The wife-chasing crematorium was not successful and not satisfying. The trope 'get together with a sick/ crazy/ disabled ML to faceslap the antagonists' is common enough that this book is not a necessary must read.
suprisingly i enjoyed this a lot!for a starter, it has a interstellar with omegaverse setting, with rebirth trope as well; basically, there's NO reason for me to not try it lol.
i liked the concept and the identity of the ML, he's a very powerful person and yet that power weakened his state at least until he met our MC, and the way his team operated like a giant ass special force military team was cool. but then again, it's danmei, so they never get serious and try to delve deeper to give more context to the fantasy setting.
i thought i'd love this more if the rebirth trope was utilised more effectively, the past life was so heartbreaking and yet sooo intriguing, so it's sort of a shame that we never really get a true conclusion from it. but yes, i looove the fluff. it's kinda unexpected, bcs when you're reading rebirth stories, it's very easy to get focused on the MC's tragic past life and thirst for revenge, but i'm so happy that he was able to have an actual romance with our ML>.<
on the other side, it's very dog-blood occasionally, there are some clinically insane characters but they never get spot to be supported with actual backstory, so i didn't feel much for them. but yep, this was plenty entertaining!
