The brochure promises everything will be safe and simple: a vampire orders for delivery, and the agency sends a willing human to sate the vampire's thirst.
In Never Been Bitten , college student Alec Ward needs money--and he's willing to sell his own blood for it. When he arrives for his first call, he expects to be nervous. What he doesn't expect is his immediate, overwhelming attraction to Leander Garrison. The seductive, powerful vampire wants more than Alec's blood--and Alec discovers how happy he is to submit.
In Bitten With Benefits , Alec can't stop thinking about Leander. Tavia Lark writes m/m fantasy romance and erotica. Her favorite romance tropes include hurt/comfort, sharing a bed, and enemies to lovers. She writes from a sunny little apartment with the constant "help" of her fluffy cat. He just really likes typing, okay.

I recommend this to anyone who likes vampire romance. Billed as vampire erotica, which I guess is true, but this had a lovely dosing or plot as well. Follows the same couple for all three books, ends with a pretty solid HEA / HFN. I wish there were more. I don’t usually give erotica 5* but this was just really well done and hit all the right points for me. Some BDSM.
In a world where vampires are accepted, they can hire people to bite. This is a set of three short stories about the same characters, and is primarily erotica. The world Lark created is clever, though I’m not sure it would stand up to a whole lot of scrutiny in a longer book. Regardless, the chemistry between the MCs is great and she gives them a satisfying conclusion, though it would have been nice to get a little more of their story.
Of all the little shorts and couplets I've read by Tavia Lark, this is the closest to a romance. Yes, I realize they are not explicitly market as a romance but let me be me. My point is, if you're looking for vampire smut, this is it babe. And ooh is she smuty. However, if you go into this looking for a vampire romance, you might be a little disappointed.
I think the writing is solid and I find the world really interesting. I actually kind of wish this was a full length novel so we could explore the world a little more but that's just me. I walked away from this feeling like this would have worked so much better as a full novel rather than three very short novellas. Again that might be a me thing. The ending was more of a HFN than a HEA but again, that was probably the point. Tl;Dr I liked this, I just really wanted more. I also didn't think there was that much BDSM going on outside of Alec calling Leander Sir, but I also read a lot of kinky books so my views maybe skewed
I wish these short novella were three long novels. I see a lot of potential in this series. Alec and Leander are great together. So much to explore here. Leander's POV would have been great when Alec went to see him after his night with Daniel.
I liked this one a lot. It’s erotica and kinky, but there’s a good set-up and plot. I thought the whole blood-giving app concept was fun. There’s even romance and an HEA! There’s some BDSM, but nothing too intense; no name-calling or humiliation stuff, it’s all very sweet, more like a D/s dynamics with some bondage, spanking, bratty behavior and “good boy” thrown in. Also whatever kink the mirror scene was? I’m into it.
A quick and easy read, a plot just what one would expect from the premise, but it was still nice. The sex was quite enjoyable, especially liked the restaurant one - gives a whole other meaning to being wined and dined ;)
Thoroughly enjoyable vampire smut with the premise of hot, rich vampire hires a blood donor who is a poor college student and they end up swapping more than just blood 😏 I’ll leave individual reviews for each 30-35pg book eventually. Definitely recommend as a quick, spicy read!
This is technically three separate books but as they are each around 25 pages long, I decided to track this as one item instead of three.
This was a very kinky vampire erotica set of short stories that was entertaining but there wasn't a lot of substance. Given the length (about 75 pages total), I'm not surprised.
I prefer Lark's other (plottier) books but this was competently-written. I would love to see this series/idea expanded into a full-length novel (or two, or three) - theres's some really interesting worldbuilding going on in the background.
A blood delivery service for vamps was an interesting idea. We don’t get to know much about Leander though and they actually only get together four times however it does mention phone calls. Those times were super hot though!
I enjoyed the concept of vampires being publicly established for some time now, and having services to have their blood delivered via "delivery boys." 😉
This concept and story really could have gone far and been a whole novel, but it was fun for what it was.
I know Tavia Lark is known for her long medieval romance novels, but I think her shorter stuff is better. I've loved all of her novellas and short stories!
This was steamy and mysterious with the vampires being a blend of traditional monster and the sexy vampires we are used to seeing on TV shows like True Blood, but also romantic. I really enjoyed the pairing between our human main POV and his vampire lover/contractor and how it led up to a fated mates type situation.
