All she wanted was one last summer at the beach house...
It’s a new day in Diamond Beach and things are looking good for all of the Thompson women, upstairs and down. In part because Bryan Thompson’s will has finally been read. It’s not quite what the families were expecting, but that seems to follow with everything else that’s happened. Ultimately, everyone’s happy with the outcome.
Claire Thompson’s made a new friend. Her next-door neighbor, Danny Rojas. He’s not only helped her come to terms with some of her feelings, he’s offered her an incredible opportunity. But can she afford to be part of it?
Roxie Thompson is struggling to find her place in this new reality. Helping her daughter, Trina, start a business is great, but Roxie wants more. Her mom, Willie, isn’t letting anything hold her back. Maybe Roxie should be more like her?
Regardless of some small obstacles, the future looks brighter than it ever did before. For all of them. But when a stranger shows up at the beach house with incredible news, will it change everything again? Or will they find the courage to keep moving forward?
Book 3 is definitely a page turner by Maggie Miller.
Becoming friends with your husbands other wife and the daughters hitting it off also is amazing. Then finding out the daughters will inherit the beach property was amazing. Each one from Mothers, daughters and their daughters find a love interest as well makes it exciting for all. Unexpected ending to this book makes me want to read the next one now.
Bryan's two families are finally adjusting to their new life and relationships in the Florida beach home. His daughters with different mothers have become friends, the grandmother's are friendly and Roxie and Claire realize neither of them are to blame for Bryan's bigamy. Then a door is answered and a other Bryan surprise questions them. Great series, a lot going on and occasional humor and intrigue. Love this author.
This book, third in the series, is another delightful and entertaining tale of a group of strong women and their journey towards making positive changes after being thrown a few huge curves. I would definitely recommend reading the books in order - it make a much better and more complete story. Then sit back and enjoy a wild ride at the Beach House!
Maggie is one of my favorite authors. I’m really enjoying this new series! It’s encouraging to see how Claire, her family,Roxie and her family are moving forward in spite of their struggles. The end of the book was a bit of a surprise. This book is a very good read and will keep you engrossed in the story. Looking forward to the next book! Thank you Maggie for good clean reading!
I loving this series very much in a few days I'll have tge next book, can't wait to see whats happening next. What a piece of scum. But the ladies were finally moving on know this. Great read if you like hidden piece and real life you'll enjoy reading this series.
I generally like to read beach books, but the storyline of the Diamond Beach collection had me hooked from the first book. I realize that I can relate to the characters and their feelings - happy, sad, angry and shocked. This would make a great TV show!
This series is so fun to read. I like how Roxie and Claire are getting along. At least Claire was willing to try the thrift store shopping. I also like how Cash is finishing his way in the music scene. I thought another wife might pop up when the life insurance checks were short. The cliffhanger of the new wife was so good with a new baby. Can’t wait to start the next one.

This series is so much fun. Twists and turns with some interesting characters. I have laughed and been so relaxed reading these stories. So glad I have at least 2 more to go. It feels like I’m there with these families as they live their very different normal lives. Maggie Miller I do hope all your work is fun.
A very good book . I am loving this series. The women have all found nice men to include in their lives. Trina and kat are bonding as half sisters. Even roxy and Clair seem yo be getting along better. If you want to find out more of this story start reading now.
As things start to calm down and new life events are taking place. The ending is very surprising. 2 wives, and 2 daughters and then a doorbell is answered to a new upheaval.
What a great third edition of the Diamond Beach series. I kinda had a feeling something big was happening, which kept my interest peaked until the end. Can't wait until Book 4! Well done, Maggie!
All the ladies in the story are in love. It is all working out until the last page. Another wife and child. Bryan sure made fast time. The whole series is keeping me on edge. I can't wait to read more. You are a good writer to keep this all going on.
I love this series. I don't want to keep repeating myself from book to book. But I would highly recommend this book if you love beach reads and the development of friendships between women. I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series.
I enjoyed this book about the two families working things out so they got along. One grandmother got engaged. Everyone is looking forward to staying in the area of the summer house
Wow, 3 books in and not once is there a disagreement between, sisters, cousins or mothers and daughters! Everyone falls in love with “the perfect guy” at the same time.
Oh wow . How many wife's and kids can one husband have ? Who gets the rest of the insurance money ? Things are going well foe the two families at the beach house . Boyfriends. Finding a new life selling old.
I cannot get enough of this series. The characters are so well written and just when I think I can’t be surprised, I am. A great light-hearted series for a book lover. Especially, if you like just a sprinkle of romance.
I AM REALLY LOVING THIS SERIES. I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE OTHER 3 BOOKS TO COME OUT NOW, RECOMMEND THIS!!! NOT JUST SOME ROMANCE BOOK. COVERS DIFFERENT THINGS OF LIFE
Mediocre read with an eye roll at the end. It was just something to read to end my day but not something that I was overly excited to pick up. Happy that I’m done with the trio.
