UGH.
So….I like re-reading stuff these days so that I can make fun of my old-self.
Dear past-Tamara, I ask my darling, what the hell you found in this manga to like?
Are you into both physically and psychologically weak heroines ?
Are you into pathetic retarded dumb bitches and cruel boys who bosses around the heroine all day?
Are you into mangakas that make their female heroines so pathetic that they'll do anything, absolutely anything, for money?
It was smut, right? It had to be the smut. I used to be into smut. But this time not even the smut or the beautiful art can save this book.
I dont get why Yuzuru loves Kai.

The Story: The storyline follows a typical master-servant route where the rich boy Kai does as he pleases to the poor commoner girl called Yuzuru.
During a part-time job, Yuzuru makes trouble with Kai of the Kuge course which many rich people take in her rich private school. To get revenge, and have a bit fun Kai decides to make Yuzuru his "HONEY". Because she has A financially unstable background, Yuzuru accepts the situation thinking all she needs to do is take care of him until he graduates from the school, She couldnt have been more wrong because being honey means he can use her for whatever he wants and she has to obey or she’ll get kicked out of school.
Fuck this story.
First of all; Kai, the master, is a fucking "cold hearted" son of a bitch and shows his "affection" to the heroine, Yuzuru, through sexual harassment (which he dubs as punishment for a disobedient servant). When I say sexual harassment I mean outright molestation: fingering someone who is unwilling (but Kai justifies this by saying things like, "Your body likes it, so your words mean nothing." I'd like to see how that logic holds up in court).
And hey, hey, look, that’s not the worst part. The worst part is; she just takes it!! I mean, she's a weak heroine--no physical strength or intelligence to boast of, easily cries, and overall a mess. SHE NEVER FIGHTS!!!
You know what she should have done? This is what she could have done: NEVER ACCEPT HIS ABUSE!
If he tries to kiss you punch him

She just cries and ask for help and then acts like nothing happened!!! Come on, can't she at least have a little more attitude? She WAS strong in the beginning, but then flopped like a limp weed in the progressive chapters. What the hell! She was all mad and fighting Kai earlier on, but what changed? Why does she love the guy again? Because he's a good kisser? Because he molests her? Sure, he was nice to her once in a while, but that doesn't erase the fact that he's a CREEP.
I mean come on, can't she at least slap that guy in a yukata because I know I would.

July 3, 2018I was enjoying the story (because I'm trash) but damn what Kai was doing was basically rape. And of course during the end he decides to suddenly become nice. Girllllll, just because he was nice at the end doesn't erase all the horrible things that he's done!!! Open your eyes and see that he's trash.

I wasn't expecting something so mature, and I wasn't so intrigued by the arts but I had to change my mind while reading because I started to like them quite a lot and now I cannot say why I wasn't a fan from the beginning. But I don't always make sense, even to myself, so... oh well!
All in all, I liked the school system, as an idea... the all master/honey relationship is not bad and the fact that usually, it is a good relationship makes me like it even more.
The relationship between our two main characters is not as idyllic as it could have been, and I hope that it get better, but I enjoyed the reading, so far, and I definitely want to keep going with this series!

It seems that my taste in manga has exponentially grown trashier over the years lmao. And believe you me. This is most certainly, unequivocally, shameless TRASH to the nth degree!
But it's like a train wreck: I cannot bear to watch (yes, lack of consent is a Major Theme, what a shock) and yet I cannot look away. Welp. Time to buckle up and enjoy the wild ride of this toxic wasteland, let's goooooooo!

Yuzuru Hagino, berasal dari keluarga biasa saja, cenderung miskin dgn orang tua punya banyak utang (wajar keknya) dan masuk ke sekolah Houjou Academy. Seperti remaja pada umumnya, Yuzuru jg kerja part time pas summer break sebelum masuk SMA kan, die kerja di hotel. Pada suatu hari, Yuzuru mengantar pesanan segerombol anak2 muda seusianya dan pas minta bill nya malah di hina-dina, dan dilemparin ke kolam renang. Kuatir musti ganti kerugian dan kesel banget sama yg ngelempar die, pas naek si Yuzuru nyiram tu cowo pake air (keknya bener nyiram) dan bales marah2 gitu deh, apalagi pas tau kalau mereka bakalan masuk SMA yg sama, si Yuzuru makin maki2 si cowo ini. Eh, malah si cowo makin kesel dan bawa si Yuzuru ke kamarnya, alasannya si mau kasih duit buat bayar tp malah makin ngebully gitu deh.. tanpa sadar, si cowo masangin anting ke kuping Yuzuru sambil bilang "Remember my name properly! I'm Renge Kai"
Begitu summer break berakhir, si Yuzuru balik masuk sekolah kan, temen2 dan gurunya sampe kaget liat anting yang dipakai Yuzuru dan bilang kalau die serakang adalah "Honey" nya keluarga Renge. Dengan polosnya Yuzuru nanya dong, emang apaan "Honey" itu? dijelasin deh sama temennya, kalau disekolah mereka ada kelas khusus anak orang kaya "Kugeka" ada 9 keluarga yg menyokong sekolah itu, dan 9 anak dari keluarga itu masuk kelas khusus. 9 anak ini masing2 bebas memilih "honey"-nya sebagai pendamping buat belajar dan memastikan masternya (9 anak ini) mengikutin kegiatan sekolah dan bisa lulus pada waktunya. Sebagai imbalan, si honey ini akan dibayarin sekolah nya dan semua hutang orang tuanya bakalan dilunasin, pokoknya keluarganya ditanggung sama keluarga masternya. Ndengerin itu, Yuzuru senang bukan kepalang dong, secara keluarganya mati2an nyekolahin die, trs adeknya jg pengen masuk sekolah music dan utang nya banyak.
Masalahnya adalah, dari 9 anak Kugeka ini, si Range adalah anak yg paling sering gonta-ganti honey dan memperlakukan honeynya macam budak. Bukan tanpa alasan si, Kai anak tunggal, ortunya sering pergi2, die sendirian dan ga punya temen. Mustinya, tugas honey adalah menjadi teman gitu kan, tp rata2 kalau die ude mulai marah2 pasti honeynya langsung berenti, atau nangis2, padahal Kai ini jenis2 berdarah panas yg hobi banget meledak-ledak.
Hari pertama jadi honey nya Kai, si Yuzuru dibully abis2an sama Kai, apalagi Kai masih kesel banget sama Yuzuru pas di hotel itu, sempet pengen berenti jadi honey tapi berarti die egois sama keluarganya dan saat akhirnya Kai memperlihatkan "senyum"-nya pas maen basket membuat Yuzuru ingin melihat senyum itu kembali. Kai? yah.. die ngebully si Yuzuru semau die deh, tp bahkan pas Yuzuru abis dibully pun die ttp kaga beranjak dr sisi Kai dan itu menghangatkan hatinya yg beku *hallah*.
Sampai keluarlah sosok si second lead (urgh gw lupa namanya), pokoknya ni anak dr awal keluar sampe abis chapternya bikin gw sebel banget banget!! biasanya second lead tu kan lebih baik dari si lead sampai-sampai suka galau yg baca/ntn mau milih yg mana kan? ini ma kaga! ampun deh.. lebih sadis dari Kai pokoknya!

One of the worst manga I have ever read. Some of the most horrible art I've had the misfortune to gaze upon, cliche cliche cliche cliche, asshole male lead out the ying yang, and sexual harrassment that's not even remotely enjoyable to fantasize about. The Lead Asshole is just that, an asshole. He's unlikable to the highest degree and the fact that people like this manga and think it's art is even remotely good are delusional. There, I said it. I struggled to finish volume 1. I've gone back to this series multiple times in an attempt to finish it just to say I have, but I don't think I can. I think I up and quit after midway through the second volume. It's just SO bad.

Dopo aver letto Love begins mi aspettavo qualcosa di diverso da quello che ho letto. Che non ha senso ed è anche poco carino nei confronti delle donne.
In una scuola c'è una sezione dedicata ai rampolli di alcune grandi famiglie e 'sti disgraziati possono scegliersi una servetta (o un servetto) affinché li aiuti durante la loro vita scolastica. La servetta viene esentata dal pagamento delle tasse scolastiche e ci sono un'infinità di vantaggi economici per la famiglia. In pratica, 'sta gente vende il proprio figlio a un tizio di dubbio gusto.
Ed eccoci a lei, povera in canna e piena di debiti, che accetta di fare la servetta a lui, ricco e dannato. Lui la vuole possedere, lei un po' non capisce, un po' ci sta. Ma tanto, più dice no e più lui capisce sì.
Sigh!! Ormai lo leggo tutto, così impedisco alla mia media voti di andare troppo in su.

I actually finished the first volume. But then, I don't feel anything or I'm not invested to continue. It's like watching F4 or what and I don't want to contaminate my virgin mind from other F4-themes out there. THEN I read the reviews and how some women hated the series and the heroine and the plot. So, I'm pretty lucky to read the reviews in advance first haha.

Yuzuru is 15 and is in her first year at Houjou Academy. At her summer job she meets Renge Kai, he is part of the Kugeka, a class designed only for the rich students. She finds she is now Kai's Honey, or better his assistant for him to be successful. Her school fees will be paid, but she has much to sacrifice to him.

El dibujo de la autora logra enamorar desde el primer momento. Pero lo cierto es que desde el primer instante el protagonista abusa de ella: por su posición, por su dinero... Pero lo hace, besándola, tocándola cuando ella no quiere y obligándola a aceptar una posición que en un inicio no quiere aprovechándose de su mala situación económica.

Today I’ll be covering my favourite smut manga. First of all this manga is for mature audience. Mostly all smut mangas are 18+, however, minami Kanan drawns everything with a lot of sensuality and hotness, leaving only bits to our imagination. And well, her stories are amzng, both with the plot and the drawing. To be honest, this manga is my favourite of all mangas by Minami Kanan. I think I have read it about 10 times by now. And every time I read it as if I’m just starting it.
But let’s get back to the story. You may think that it is another boring story about a poor girl and a rich boy, however, that’s not all there is. Our heroine – Yuzuru is a normal high school girl, who during summer-break worked at a hotel. Everything would have been great, if not some bad tempered customers. The worst part is that these customers are from Yuzurus’s school, and from the elite class. Meet our Hero – Kai Renge, the biggest pervert and sadist ever. But nevertheless you just can’t not fall in love with him. Even through in the beginning you just want to kill him very soon he will show his good sides. Well, the appearance of a villain also helps to acknowledge Kai as the good guy.
Yuzuru is something extraordinary. Well, she is just your dumb girl with a nice body and a good character. Why is she dumb? Come on, even when I was first reading I already sensed something fishy as soon as one character appears. I won’t spoil the surprise for you. You have to read everything by yourself. One the other hand we have Kai, he was really interesting character to read about. The character development is really amazing. Not only his character gets to grow up during the story as a person, but all of them and reading about it makes it more and more amazing. All twists and turns in their life make you more and more compelled to keep on reading.
Even though the story is not short, it is not that long too. To say the truth I would have loved to read a lot more about my favourite characters. I loved how it ended, but a bit more would have been so, so good. I’m still hoping, for a short story abut their future selves. It would have been a lot of fun to see them as parents. But well, guess, I’m not getting it.
I hope you will find sometime to read this superb manga, but kepp in mind its for mature readers, and you should get used t it a bit, but you’ll definitely love it a lot. Don’t hate Kai for his stubborn and shitty behavior in the beginning, you’ll be soon drooling as soon as you see his face. Enjoy it to its fullest
Today I’ll be covering my favourite smut manga. First of all this manga is for mature audience. Mostly all smut mangas are 18+, however, minami Kanan drawns everything with a lot of sensuality and hotness, leaving only bits to our imagination. And well, her stories are amzng, both with the plot and the drawing. To be honest, this manga is my favourite of all mangas by Minami Kanan. I think I have read it about 10 times by now. And every time I read it as if I’m just starting it.
But let’s get back to the story. You may think that it is another boring story about a poor girl and a rich boy, however, that’s not all there is. Our heroine – Yuzuru is a normal high school girl, who during summer-break worked at a hotel. Everything would have been great, if not some bad tempered customers. The worst part is that these customers are from Yuzurus’s school, and from the elite class. Meet our Hero – Kai Renge, the biggest pervert and sadist ever. But nevertheless you just can’t not fall in love with him. Even through in the beginning you just want to kill him very soon he will show his good sides. Well, the appearance of a villain also helps to acknowledge Kai as the good guy.
Yuzuru is something extraordinary. Well, she is just your dumb girl with a nice body and a good character. Why is she dumb? Come on, even when I was first reading I already sensed something fishy as soon as one character appears. I won’t spoil the surprise for you. You have to read everything by yourself. One the other hand we have Kai, he was really interesting character to read about. The character development is really amazing. Not only his character gets to grow up during the story as a person, but all of them and reading about it makes it more and more amazing. All twists and turns in their life make you more and more compelled to keep on reading.
Even though the story is not short, it is not that long too. To say the truth I would have loved to read a lot more about my favourite characters. I loved how it ended, but a bit more would have been so, so good. I’m still hoping, for a short story abut their future selves. It would have been a lot of fun to see them as parents. But well, guess, I’m not getting it.

Este es el primer manga que me leo desde el parón. En realidad me lo he releído.
Nos cuenta una historia de una chica que, por circunstancias de la vida, un chico que conoció en el trabajo le pone en contra de su voluntad un pendiente que después no se puede quitar.
Al comenzar el año escolar en su nuevo colegio se entera del sistema Honey. La escuela se divide entre los ordinarios y los privilegiados, siendo estos últimos, hijos de antiguas familias japonesas o de empresarios multimillonarios. Debido a que estos hijos se pasan la mayoría de su vida solos (sus padres no tienen tiempo para atenderles y siempre están de aquí para allá) cada uno escoge a una persona de entre los ordinarios para que le ayude en todo y sea su apoyo. Ella ha sido escogida por uno de esos hijos, en concreto de uno suuper guapo... Y, bueno, ¿qué pasará? ¿que dificultades tendrán?
Le tengo mucho cariño a este manga, me o leí hace bastante tiempo, cuando iba a 1º o a 2º... Lo que me extraña es que al releermelo no recordaba el final, creo que no lo llegué a leer porque aun no había salido. Pero pfffffff me encantó entonces y me ha vuelto a encantar ahora.
Los personajes son super enternecedores y fantásticos.
En resumen, me ha encantado.

An encounter with Kai at the wrong moment ends up with him putting the earring on her without her knowing. The earring that marks her as his "honey".
On the bright side her tuition is all free if she is Kai's "honey".

Within a few minutes of being Kai's "honey", Yuzuru already wants to quit. Well she can't, since if she quits she'll be expelled.
Also her parents and brother are happy that she took the job of being a "honey", since that means they can afford to pay for her brother's private school fee.
Chihaya-guy that holds a fan around, is conflict of most of the volumes
Chihaya uses his charms to make Yuzuru believe that if she becomes his honey, he'll treat her right. So in order to do that she must lose at the honey drop game.
Renge won of course, despite the fact Chihaya's plan didn't work to get rid of Yuzuru.

This is long and drawn out. It started off fine, but half-way through, I just got bored. I felt like I was reading the same stories amd senerios over and over again. Honestly, I kept reading this for Genju and what's-his-face. Okay, I clearly have messed up both names. As sad as that seems, I did pay attention, at least a little bit. I read through volume 6, and just had to skip to the end because I could not take the torture anymore. Even the ending was long and drawn out.

Yes, words can't describe how frusturated I was/am. Why wasn't this wrapped up in say 4-6 volumes? Could have cut out some of the middle junk. Who really needs 4+ long plots to really try to get rid of someone and then fail? geez!
