I was looking forward to the latest edition of *Cobert’s Manual of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance*, particularly because I had read the earlier edition and was interested in seeing the updates and additions.

There is a lot of valuable information in this edition, and the updates make it a useful resource for anyone working in drug safety and pharmacovigilance. However, I was disappointed by the editing and proofreading issues I encountered while reading it.

I came across several instances where information appeared to be missing from a paragraph, sentences seemed to be cut off or incomplete, and some sections read as though they had not gone through a thorough final proofreading. In a technical reference book, these issues can be particularly distracting because it can be difficult to tell whether something is intentionally omitted or whether it is simply an editing error.

I did reach out to the publisher and provided three specific findings for their review. I appreciate that these issues can be identified and hopefully addressed in future updates or printings.

Overall, I find the latest edition useful and appreciate the effort that went into updating the content from the earlier version. My main concern is the editorial quality. Given that this is a professional reference manual, I would have expected a more thorough proofreading and quality-control review before publication. The content deserves that level of attention.

Excellent introduction to the subject, various departments and functions in PV. I personally found it very interesting as a pharmacovigilance professional. It needs a revised edition in keeping with the recent regulatory changes. It would also be helpful if the U.S and ROW perspectives could be added in a newer edition.
