Terrible book. Bad grammar, cliches in every paragraph and a desperate devotion to the words symphony and tapestry which appear over and over again, relentlessly. “This book has been refined with the assistance of AI” which tells you what you need to know.

The first chapter probably spoiled me with the rich and beautiful descriptions of autumn, my favourite season. It was as if the author read my heart and mind and wrote it all down regarding the feelings of contentment and joy I feel at this time of year, the beauty of the colours as the trees change colour and spread their leaves over the ground to crackle and crunch as you walk over them, the crispness and fresh air, the misty mornings and cobwebs sparkling with dew, the smells of bonfires and warming food cooking, hearing the geese honking as they fly over in formation, the shortening of days and longer cosy evenings. I have an energy and optimism that I only feel fully in autumn and this charming and cosy book was an absolute delight to read, bit by bit, each day.
I have docked a star because as the chapters went on I found some parts very repetitive. Warm spiced cider and pumpkin pie can only be mentioned so many times. I found the illustrations to be really vintage, quite Quaker-like, reminding me of children’s books from when I was a child, so for me personally, I didn’t like them but others might find that they suit the nature of the book. It’s a simplistic book, written in a simple way to aid the feeling of slowing down, giving thanks and simplifying our lives as we remember that it’s the little things that matter and for me, I have an abundance of gratitude and memories of this season. What I especially love is that my children, now grown up, all do too and will continue the traditions I started. This book is a great source of ideas for those who want to celebrate the season more fully.
It’s a bit cliché and a bit rustic but that adds to its charm. Get yourself a cosy blanket, wrap up in it in a comfy chair and indulge.
Charming book! What truly sets this book apart is its ability to kindle creativity. I found myself inspired by the author's appreciation for the simple pleasures of life, and it ignited a desire in me to explore nature, try new recipes, and embrace the art of crafting. The Cottagecore Autumn book left me feeling not just cozy but also deeply inspired.
I had seen The Cottagecore Autumn all over Instagram, so thought I would order it. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The writing is so slow, and uninspiring. I found it a very basic self published book. It could have been so much more but I found this book very lacking. I won't be buying the others in the series.
Very cozy! the author's ability to weave a heartwarming narrative with a tapestry of autumnal imagery is nothing short of remarkable, this book is like a treasure chest of cozy secrets waiting to be discovered, each page revealing a new aspect of autumn 🤎🤎🤎
such a cozy book! it helps to get autumn vibes and learn how to romanticize it. I really enjoyed reading it, I liked the details, and the illustrations and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a guide to celebrate autumn.
An adorable little book about my favorite season! It's filled with stories, poetry, recipes, and tips for celebrating autumn. I'm looking forward to reading all the books in the Cottage core collection!
I just love these books. I’ve been reading them this year with the change of seasons and just love the recipes. This one touched on foraging, tea making and a risotto recipe I want to try.
This is a lovely book and I would like to read the others in the series but it is lacking a bit for me in details. Some things I thought were great like books or song choices while others such as decorating I thought could have been more detailed.
This was a lovely read. The author is so descriptive and detailed with the writing. You can feel the beauty of the season coming through this book for sure.
