Flailing follows Derry as he couch crashes his way through his post grad year. With a greed for adventure and an abhorrence of boredom, he tries to answer the question, “What do you do with a degree in English Literature?” Seeking experiences odd and uncomfortable, raw and uncut, Derry travels the world in search of stories to tell.
I loved reading this book, because it's got so much about life and seeking meaning, and just as Graham learns- there's a lot more he can do with his life depending on his perspective and there's also a lot more about life that you are not taught in the classroom.
I loved what one man told him, that "education is the only thing you can cash anywhere."
