This book is like a rollercoaster that keeps going up and up, so long that you forget there is a reason to be anxious. Then it drops you over a massive hill and directly into a couple loops, before heading full speed back into the dock. The tension between Gabriel and Lex in this book and Wylie, David, and Samael is amazing in this book. The plot is a true 10 and holds your interest the whole time.

I give this book 4 1/2⭐️ damn it was a ride some characters I didn’t expect to feel sorry for and others I couldn’t hate more than I all ready did but that ending wow

This book was amazing! I think liked this book more than the first one which was also a 5 star read for me. Tons of character growth and kept me interested from beginning to end. I can’t wait until book 3!

I truly don’t know what to do with myself now, I need book3! 🫠😍🥲
I feel like Wylie, grew so much in this one, her journey to acceptance, understanding & developing, was simply perfect. Even on a power trip, she stayed true to her core.
Samael - the pining, the connection, the possessiveness & devotion he emanated 🤌🏻 the way he sacrificed everything, if it meant helping her.
Lexi - I have no words right now, that can feel even remotely adequate to describe, how she touched my heart, I love you, Hellcat. I can’t wait to meet you next time.
Gabriel - he is my dark horse! The trojan, who swept me off my feet, I am rooting for you my man.
This book was elevated in every possible way, it gave me more than I could ever imagine.

This was a fantastic read, the world building is intricate and very picturesque. The plot flows well and is full of drama, action and many many twists which had my head spinning in a good way.
There is really good character progression for Wylie, she’s finally starting to accept her destiny and come into her own. Lex’s wit and sarcasm helps to provide many lighthearted moment too. There are lots of new characters introduced too, some you will love and many you won’t! Gabriel has his own issues to get through in his search for power. I have so many questions and keen to see where this story goes

Book 2 had me blown away. This story is so interesting and captivating. The spice is just right. That ending though I was not expecting that but definitely made me smile

Holy cow… if they don’t make this into a tv series I’m going to be so mad! This book is a freaking masterpiece and needs to be on every best seller list! The amount of plot twists and emotions was incredible and I have never been so speechless after reading this book. I cried, I laughed a lot, and was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Seeing Wylie come into her own and finally getting to do things she doubted she would ever do, was amazing. Having Lex be her usual sarcastic bada$$ self was so great! I love her character so much! We have a ton of new characters to root for and even more that you kinda want to punch through the center of the earth. I know my friends reading this hate me for not spilling the beans with spoilers, but I’m not saying anything! Go read this now! Put your current TBR aside and make this your next read!!

While I rate all of Cabrera's books highly and would recommend, please make sure that you are aware of the TWs and CWs. She has a comprehensive guide available.
Now, on to the good stuff!
Armageddon Awakened is a continuation of the Armageddon Trilogy. It is not a standalone so you should begin with book 1. This continues Wylie's story and her journey from being an amazing ER nurse to angel. We also see Gabriel as he forges forward in his own search for power. (Just to name a few 😉 )
One of the things that Cabrera does in her writing that I appreciate so much is her complex storyline weaving without sacrificing character building or arcs. You are introduced to each character and the believability is so strong.
Lots of action, politics, spice, love, loss, and tears.
Highly recommend.

This was the second book of the trilogy and my god the beginning is amazing the birthing was so realistic and I am still in love with Gabriel and Lex I just love their connection and of course Samael have to feel sorry for him because of the person that he cares for which you do find out in the book and the way Wylie is in training and learning has you laughing and enjoying it but I’m still crying at the end I can’t believe who the author unalived crying. Can’t wait for the third book to come out cause I need more I need to find out why Samael did what he did and how he will live now and how Gabriel will be after what had happened still crying

First off, I absolutely loved this book. I loved book 1, I Am Armageddon, but holy doodle, book 2 was even better. The beginning of this book snared my full attention in the first paragraph and didn't let go until the end.
And speaking of the end, it was brilliant. C.L Cabrera set things up for the third book beautifully, and I'm telling you all, I don't think I can wait until it's released.
The world, the characters, the plot, action, spice, love triangle, OMG, so amazing.

Gabriel Andel as he continues his journey to power.
With their own separate Angelkind factions and all those that they are align to.Each has Dominon to guide them - who should they trust in their faction.
The 🪢twists, ↪️↩️turns, and constant escalating conflict had me gripped in anticipation with each page. The humour between all the characters was great & solidifies believable solidarity(within the factions).
✍️I loved the writing took opportunities for the reader to unravel Raphael & Gabriels relationship through Lex's journey as she tries to discover what is happening to the Muses - that was all gold.... i was eating 🍿popcorn in a few volatile terse scenes.
🫨Expect decisions could be made even confounding those reader expectations (carefully)of our beloved characters. Meaning book3 will resolve.all.. so dont feel overwhelmed by any dark heavy handedness in this book.

⚔️Angel Warrior hotness,Snark &Smexy Ariel,Madoc,Kismet -Mariam - gosh i luv her.
⚔️Yes Lex continues to own it like a Boss bitch- but there is some sweetness other sides to Lex you will experience.
🪽Wylie - is that FMC where circumstances are changing around her but fundamentally she remains her stoic self - its her sense of self I find most attractive of Wylie. Its Wylie the Healer & very caring strong moral center and that determination to do what was right is certainly uplifting.
🪽🔺️Wylie - the love triangle - gets hotter!
BTW this not a FMC and where the men in her life make her blah blah become a better woman...... she is already a GREAT WOMAN- instead they change & grow because of the impact Wylie making on their lives. I have enjoyed the Maturity in relationship in terms of its pretty clear whats sexual mutuality and what could lead to much more.
Gabriel......... book 2 reveals much more allows you to decide based on elements from his past and now currently how deep is he entrenched in his belief system. Oh and the spice...lets just say he's playful, experienced and he is drawing a line in the sand making it clear. mine.
do I still find the very Villain Attractive - yes I Do.
