no one is a bigger fan of The Lost Years of Merlin than I am, but this is really disappointing. it's not telling me anything I didn't already know from just reading the books. I expected more out of this. :(

This looks like the author wanted to milk some more bucks from the fans of the Merlin series, although it might be useful if you have a bad memory for characters, in that he doesn't give too many spoilers. It's short, too (150 pages of "new" material, plus the chronology he put at the end of the "Great Tree of Avalon" series)

If you have already read all of the Merlin series, then this book is not for you. I thought that it would be more to the story, but it just caps the the whole series. Very boring.

All the info in this book is summarized in the series. Really only for big fans of the other books.
