When I was a little girl, I was rescued by the president of the Rebel Skull’s daughter.
I’ll never forget the day she brought me to the warehouse. To me, it looked like a castle. I remember thinking how fortunate she was to live in such a magical place, and to have a family … a dad. I got lucky that day, because her father decided to take me in. He eventually adopted me, making Jesse and I real sisters.
I’d like to say I left that dirty, scared child back at my mom’s ratty trailer.
But she still rides with me … she’s always on the back of my bike … the back of my mind.
Maybe it’s why I did what I did.
Why I almost beat a man to death in the bathroom of a local fast-food restaurant.
I caught him peeking at a young girl.
Not just any little girl, but my archenemy’s daughter.
That’s why I was baffled when he bailed me out of jail. He hates me. But soon enough, I realized it was all part of the club’s plan to keep me out of trouble.
What’s the plan, you ask?
You’ll never believe it, but they actually expect me to marry this asshole.
LM Terry is simply a crazy Gemini, writing stories that contain both light and dark elements. Her novels will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. But when you get off, she promises it will be with a happy ever after. LM Terry lives in a small town in the heart of the United States. She is a wife, mother, and book lover. You will find her most days with her head in the clouds.
Another amazing story by L.M. Terry, I haven't read all the books in the series, but if you plan to read this one, I would recommend reading them as they are published, or else you will miss some key parts! Regardless, I absolutely enjoyed this one.
This is book 5 in the “Rebel Skulls MC” series and can be read as a stand alone but sooo much better when read as a series.
The men in these books drive me wild. I love every single one of them. Big sexy alpha MC men but fucking teddy bears for the ones they love. Petey is pure perfection. Sexy as hell, loyal, loving and amazing with his hands (more ways than one). Petey and Katie is a match made in heaven!!! Katie has had a rough life and damn if I don’t love the bad ass she is. But seeing her vulnerable side and watching Petey and Charlotte help her work through it was amazing. Let me say, Charlotte is my favorite!!!! From the very beginning she is the bestest little girl I have ever met. The end with the whole crew made my heart smile!!
I love the entire club. All the characters. I never want this series to end. The emotions the author evoked from me were ridiculous. Tears during an MC book, damn you! So many tears. Tears of happiness, tears of sadness, tears of anger, and tears of love. Fucking perfection!!
The flow of the book felt effortless. I read this book every moment I could. This is one of my all time favorite books. Yes there are some triggers but it is worth every single one of them! You MUST read this book!!
**I gladly received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**
Glass Skulls didn't disappoint. This series is one of my favorites and I couldn't wait to read this one (may have stayed up till 3:30am reading it). As usual great story line, well developed characters and some 🌶spicy🌶 spice. Like other books in this series, its also a heavy read with some triggers readers should check out before they dive in.
I'm starting to think that I read a different book than you guys. 🤔 The beginning was so cool with a badass FMC but after the prison scene everything goes to hell. The heroine was super immature, the MMC was misogynist and everybody was in their business all the freaking time.
P. S. : 30 and something year's of trauma don't get healed in 2, 3 weeks just because he is forcing you to do things differently!!!!! 😐
Later edit: I just remembered that he chose to put her in danger and didn't share with her crucial information and she was yeah of course I understand, no biggie... It was in fact a biggie!!! 😑

Read your trigger warnings! I truly am a big fan of this series, and love every book. Glass Skulls, follows Katie and Petey two people who down right hate each other. I love Katie and Petey, and their relationship is super complex (just like every character LM Terry has wrote), and this only makes you love them more. The only reason Glass Skulls got 4 stars and not five was because it was felt like the beginning was super fast paced and we didn’t get to really marinate in just how strong willed she is. Also, why won’t they let her be an enforcer? Is it because she’s not a guy? She’s part of the club and it makes no sense how every time she want to do things it’s always “it’s club business, now go away” that makes me mad to be honest, and it’s to EVERY SINGLE WOMEN. I digress, please read this series if you haven’t. It makes you feel a lot of things and really look at people’s circumstances.
One of my FAVORITE series EVER!!! I’m so glad there are more books on the way!!
I will never stop thinking of this series. It’s so good! Well written, plot is amazing and keeps interest, pacing is perfect, the right amount of pages/no extra fluff, AND THE KID CHARACTERS ARE 10/10!!!!! Charlotte in this book was so good!!! Love her so much!
The angst in this book…. Holy….wow! So good! Petey and Katie HATE each other! Or do they? The banter and angst is some of the best I’ve read!!
My ONE and only ONE irk of this book… (well out of the entire series) is in this book Perry makes Katie kneel.. I get why he does it (not mad at the why) but like give the girl a chair, let her sit.. the kneeling is what irks me. Rest of series is perfection!
Wow! If you love MC Romance, Glass Skulls is a full course meal of dark, decadent, grit, and sass! Petey and Katie are off the charts crazy, but they are so, so good together. And their storyline kept me awake and reading way passed my bedtime. If you love all things Alpha and steamy, tons of triggers, second chances, single dad, and with yummy Bikers to boot, grab this book (and this Series), and dig in! 4 1/2 Stars!
So apparently this is the fifth book in a series so I guess I’ve accidentally started reading the out of order so back to book one I go. But this is one of my favourite MC books I’ve read - love Katie and Petey’s bond, and Charlotte was the obvious star of the show
This series is not faint for the heart. Each book is heartbreaking in its own way, but the beauty that comes with these stories is amazing. I can't wait for more.
I swear, I can never guess the direction these books are going to go in! I wasn’t so sure about either Petey or Katie at the beginning, but OMG, do I love them now! It’s so hard to live through their dark times but knowing that they will make it through and come out better on the other side gets me through. I am so satisfied and happy now that it’s over. So good! I’m hopeful for more! I want to know about Kelsie and Brodie and JD. I’m just not ready to let the Rebel Skulls go!
I really liked this authors 2 books in this serious but this one just made me angry. The male character was too force full for someone who had a trauma. He wanted everything from but gave very little back until the end. Maybe it effect everyone this way but this was not a fun read it was stressful and just left me feeling angry.
This author once again packed an emotional punch with book 5 of this interconnected series. We get the story of Katie and Petey in Glass Skulls. If you've read the entire series you will know Katie from her appearance in book 1, Sugar and Skulls, as the little girl Jesse saved from a home where she was neglected and abused. We got to see Petey and Katie's comical introduction in book 4, Avenging Skulls. Petey is a single father who only wants to protect his little girl. Katie is a free spirted rebel who has been running from the memories that haunt her and became an assassin who is trying to rid the world of abusers.
When Petey's daughter is in danger, Katie doesn't hesitate to take action, regardless of the consequences for herself. She is forced into a marriage with her "enemy" and these two collide in unexpected ways. Petey recognizes the internal chaos of her mind that Katie desperately tries to hide and wants nothing more than to help her heal from her past so that she will allow herself to stop running and let him love her the way she deserves to be loved.
Their relationship is very much a push/pull situation. Katie fights her feelings until she finally lets him in, but her tendency to run when her mind is overwhelmed with thoughts causes extra tension. I adore the bond she has with Petey's daughter. This little girl is a spitfire who fits right in with the rest of the women/girls who are part of this M.C. family. Seeing Jesse and Katie's relationship as adults was also one of the more emotional parts of the story. They both still have deep emotional baggage from the traumas they experienced and this book felt like they were both finally able to make peace with their pasts.
Trigger warnings.... topics of parental neglect, ocd behaviors with needing to be clean as a result of childhood trauma, child abuse, death of a parent, kidnapping (attempted child abduction)
You must must must read this one. It could be read alone but why do that when you have four other books all entwined together! We got some new characters added to this book and I'm already pairing them off with each other 💀 if they get a book let's seee if I can get some pairs right. Plus with them being in the book as well you might as well know who they are while reading so your not questioning it. I went from 26% of the book to 100% in no time, it seriously felt like five minutes. Trigger warnings!! Y'all I wasn't expecting the emotions this book threw at me but I wouldn't change it at all. Katie has been through plenty of things and turned into a whole new person where she doesn't take no crap from anyone. Petey being the enforcer he is also doesn't like taking any crap from people. (Trying to censor cause it declines mine sometimes) what could happen when two people that are hard headed get together and are also caring for a child while a bunch of rough things are thrown at them. Fake marriage turn real? It might have started fake but god the chokehold they had on each other and me was crazy. I'll be reading this series for a long time and hopefully have many more to read. LM makes sure she has plenty of characters to be able to give them a story as well. My favorite part was when she kept getting clotheslined I couldn't get past it without laughing. This is a series that keeps on giving.

Glass Skulls is book 5 in the Rebel Skull MC series by LM Terry and boy is it a heartbreaker. The story focuses on Katie and Petey. Katie has had a hard life and she doesn’t let anything get in her way, but she has a darkness inside of her which comes out now and again and this is what happens one day when she attacks a man for trying to do bad things to Petey’s daughter Charlotte, a young girl who Katie has a soft spot for. Here starts the relationship with Petey, a relationship that was once filled with hostility is now changing and becoming something else.
Petey is under no delusions that he is a bad man and kills for a living, but the one bright spark in his life is his daughter Charlotte and he will do anything for her, even protect the woman who protected her when he couldn’t. Petey’s relationship with Katie is complicated (as she’s a complicated woman), how to you crack the façade of a woman who doesn’t trust or like to be touched? You just keep chipping away at her!
This was a beautifully written story with some complex characters. Knowing the background of Katie from previous books, you understood where she was coming form and how she was protecting her heart, even from her own family. Both Katie and Petey fight like cat and dog, but you definitely know that there is some mutual attraction underneath that. I also loved the fact that the family element is so strong, and everyone is trying to help one another, even when sometimes that can become overbearing.
Overall, this was a great MC story with an amazing storyline and great characters. I can’t wait to see what else comes form this series.

Katie, the little girl that Jesse rescued, is all grown up. She had been using Grandma Maggie to do death dealing, but the Rebel Skulls shut down the information pipeline. She was adopted by Bill, who was murdered, and she isn't handling her grief well. She's ready to go on the road, but first, she needs to say bye to Charlotte (5), Petey's daughter. She ends up in jail for beating a man half to death who was trying to kidnap the little girl. Charlotte tells the sheriff that Katie is her new mommy and that the wedding is tomorrow. After the very real wedding, Katie and Petey have some time together to argue, I mean get to know each other. Katie does her thing and brings Petey the man who was after his daughter. Katie has some serious OCD issues stemming from childhood trauma. Petey is going to help her, whether she wants it or not. Will Charlotte ever be safe, though?
No good deed goes unpunished. Don't get attached to side characters. This one was a little less dark and stabby, but it was still a great book. It focused more on the aftermath instead of the event.
I have absolutely NO idea what everyone is on about here. The topic of her trauma was tackled so poorly. She’s a thirty plus “bad ass” and you’re telling me only the emotionally unavailable “archenemy’s” forceful tactic was the one who could get her over her childhood trauma? Get real. Both MMC and FMC (especially the FMC) acted so juvenile. Case in point? What thirty year old has and calls another person their “archenemy?” They’re not in elementary school and yet their actions are as bad as the impulsiveness of the MMC’s kid.
The marriage thing didn’t even make a lick of sense. The FMC, like a broken record, said she’d rather sit in jail but clearly that’s not true or she would have just done that instead of let a little girl bulldoze her into making drastic adult decisions like matrimony.
The writing was so disjointed and incomplete that I feel it can’t be read as a standalone. After the court scene everything was thrown in at once that there wasn’t even time to connect to the main characters. This inevitably caused me as a reader to lose so much interest in them and whatever “romance” or “chemistry” they managed to drum up together as two immature children in adult biker bodies.
I’m not ready to end my journey with the Rebel Skulls MC! I want more.
I love how easy these books are to read, there’s drama, emotion, strong characters, growth while never being boring or slow and everything is just so well written!
We follow our FMC Katie (Jesse’s sister book 1), as the club realise that the secret enforcer that has been taking out their targets has been her all along, she’s not happy the club are trying to stop her from protecting her family, even less so when protecting herself means tying herself to the clubs enforcer who she happens to hate.
The MMC Petey has been bested by Katie in his attempts to dole out justice one too many times. When she puts herself on the line to protect his daughter he’ll do anything to protect them both, even if that’s from herself when he finds out what she has been hiding.
If you’re this far in the series I take it you love these books as much as I do and although these can be read as interconnected stand-alone this series is just too good to not read them all and I really hope that this isn’t the last because I love this MC I want to read more
I won't lie I stayed up way too late reading this book and it did not disappoint. I love the main female character. She has some trauma from her childhood that she is struggling with. The main male character is DEFINITELY book boyfriend material. He has his own trauma from his past and he is there to help her through hers. The very beginning of this book has you jumping in the deep end. I love it honestly. Katie has hard limits for what she will deal with. A creep is one she will put down without blinking an eye. I love the shock factor in this book. Honestly, I was not expecting it at all, which made this book even better. My heart did break towards the end. Katie is such an amazing person even though she does dark things, she still does amazingly good things. Their family continues to grow so beautifully. I do love how the children seems to grow and get stronger in this book right along side the adults. Life likes to knock people down and in this story they get back up swinging harder. 10/10 recommend. It has the perfect amount of spice, the perfect amount of love, and my ultimate favorite... the perfect amount of SASS. Definitely one of my top 10 favorite characters.
Petey and Katie’s story is one of those love stories you didn’t even know you needed. Katie was brought into the Rebel Skulls by Jessie and was adopted by her father bill and his wife Candice. Her child hood before she came to the warehouse was really rough. Her mother exposed her to bad men with cameras so she could get her fix. Petey was a skull from a different chapter who joined the skulls after his wife was murdered and his daughter watched. After catching a man peeking into the bathroom stall Peteys daughter was in she nearly beat him to death and was arrested. Even though they can’t stand each other and fight like cats and dogs they get married in an attempt to keep her from prison. After a while they grow to love each other so much. Their little family is so cute and I love every interaction with Katie and charlotte(daughter). It’s spicy and romantics and happy. I’m hoping there maybe another book on the way because there were several mentions that something was going on with another one of the adopted girls.
I’ve been dying for Petey and Katie’s story, and the author did not disappoint. The unhinged club enforcer being “forced” to marry the vigilante female serial killer? Perfect pairing, except they seem to hate one another. My only complaint about the book is that the beginning was rough if you haven’t just finished Avenging Skulls. I read the prior book months ago and the story felt disjointed because I couldn’t remember why Petey and Katie “hated” one another. I wish the author had put a recap or written some of the prior parts from their perspectives so the book was a bit more complete. Other than that, this book is awesome. Katie is a bàdâss, that’s struggling with serious mental health issues from childhood and ongoing traumas. She falls in love with Perry’s daughter, Charlotte, first and then her fake husband. Please be aware of the triggers as there’s definitely numerous ones. The story was beautiful and definitely made me cry once I got invested in the characters again. I cannot recommend this series enough!
first off charlotte is the most adorable and smartist kid ever. lol the way she just no hestitation did THAT at the start of the story. that is going places, im telling ya. now going into this book, i was curious how katie and petey were gonna be like and what the issues in this one were gonna be. like withe jackson’s book, it broke my heart a little to learn katie also blamed herself for what happened to billie rose and even to jesse. the self loathing guilt was strong in both for different reasons. im glad they found their partners who helped enable. them to heal from it. i think the most magical parts of this one though was seeing their love blossom throughout the story even way past the half way point. and the ending half was so emotional, the trust that person put into katie after only meeting her once. also i want a skull for myself, why cant they be real?
I honestly can't choose which book from this series is my favorite! When I saw that Katie was getting a book and it was a sort of "enemies to lovers", I got super excited. This book was everything I thought it was going to be and more. Katie being the badass that she is, ended up beating up a man who tried to get a hold of Charlotte, Petey's daughter. Charlotte being the adorably smart little girl, told the cops that her "new mommy" couldn't miss her wedding the following day. What Katie wasn't prepared for was that Petey was on board with keeping up the story by planning a wedding for when he bailed her out. So they got married. Petey was smitten by Katie from the beginning, and Katie loved Charlotte like her own. Petey is easy to love, especially when he wants to help Katie overcome her past. This book takes found family to the next level and I absolutely loved it!
This is book 5 in an interconnected series. It can be read as a standalone, but you get a better experience starting with book 1. We first meet Katie the main female character in book 1 when she is a young girl. In this book you get a new meaning of found family. Katie doesn't hold back when protecting Charlotte (Petey's daughter) and he doesn't know how he could ever thank her for caring for his girl like she was her own. The push and pull between Petey and Katie is off the charts. His little girl comes up with a plan to keep Katie from going to jail. Katie isn't thrilled with the plan but now that Petey has her he will show everyone including her that she belongs to him no matter what. This whole series is absolutely one of my favorites!!!! I am hoping that there is going to be more of this series, and we get other characters stories!
Another excellent book in the Rebel Skull series. I wish we could give half stars. This was 4.5 stars for me. I loved it, but not as much as Jackson's book. Charlotte, Petey's 5 year old daughter, stole the book. She was the star in every scene she was in. I really liked Petey as well. Katie, on the other hand, was a bit hard for me to take and what lowered my rating. She's been through a lot, and I get that, but she was too much for me. At one point Brady told her she needed to dial it down a bit and that's how I felt about her throughout almost the entire book. Probably until about 80% in when she finally got herself together. We learned some secrets and I THINK got an idea of who the next couple might be but I won't spoil it here. I love the Rebel Skulls family and always feel like I wish I could be a part of them. Looking forward to the next book.
Title: Glass Skulls Author: LM Terry Genre: Dark MC Spice: 🥵 yes Series: Rebel Skulls MC, book 5
Thoughts - PETEY!!! I can’t with how much I loved him, but then again I’m a sucker for a giant, evil looking teddy bear… who likes to unalive on the side 😂🫠 this is such a good emotional MC series. Every book has big highs and lows as well as the intertwining storyline. Overall Dirk, big Dan and Petey were everything 😂 please check your triggers because there are some heavy topics but I can’t recommend this series enough.
Plot - Katie has overcome sooooooo much in her life and has found an interesting coping mechanism for it all… that is until a situation calls for her to marry the biggest, meanest enforcer of the club, and she just happens to hate him too, especially the way he looks at her.

“I’m kneeling in the middle of Petey’s shop … I don’t … I’m so confused as to what is happening to me.”
I love this series, this book is the perfect addition. The Rebel Skulls MC is a unique mix of family, death, blood and revenge- makes for a beautiful concoction. I was completely mesmerised from the very beginning, I honestly couldn’t put it down until the very last word. The relationship journey was fascinating, bumpy but completely full of truth, support and love. Charlotte is a little cracker, totally adorable. The storyline had me on the edge of my chair with all the suspense and mystery. The detail and emotion written into this book was perfection- I was in tears in parts. Overall yet another absolutely fantastic book from this series, definitely looking forward to reading more.
I have read this entire series now that I have finished Glass Skulls. And as stated in the headline, LM Terry did not disappoint!! This book was just as good as the first four, maybe even better. As with this series every emotion was wrung out of me. Half a box of tissues later and I can finally see! LOL. I don’t know where her ideas come from but my goodness, it makes the reader, well me, I guess, feel as though they are in that HUGE LOVING FAMILY of the Skulls. I want to be cooking along side Jesse, I want to rock the babies like Grandma Maggie. What a wonderful story. And the best series I have read this year!!! Looking for her other works so I can can read more epic stories! THANK YOU LM TERRY YOU ROCK!!!!
Katie the tough, no nonsense, straight talking adopted sister to Jesse, has a mistrust and dislike to the tough, broody, dangerous club enforcer Petey. When she walks in on a predator trying to take Petey’s 5 year old daughter from a public toilet, she beats him with an inch of his life. Petey bails her out and the pair are thrown together, much to Katies annoyance.
This is yet another beautifully written story, insecurities, inner turmoil, danger, twists and turns on a journey to healing, trust and love. Charlotte, Petey’s daughter is just adorable and her antics will make you smile.
I have loved this series from the very beginning, I cannot recommend it enough and hope there are more books to come.
