Better than expected
Alternate universe, SF future, aliens
Shy, strong Joe Neumann has a rocky start at life, but grows up on a rural Dakota farm with his younger sister Amy. Origin an homage to Clark Kent? Strangely resistant to injury, he learns his touch can affect others, and can cause nerves to reconnect. Ends on a cliffhanger when he decides he wants to learn how to protect others. well edited. Enjoyed. Off to book 2.
