If you’ve read books 1 and 2 you will know that this author likes to leave her readers with a cliff-hanger of an ending. Book 3 is no exception to this.
There are three times in this book when I was so absorbed in the story that I thought I’d come to her cliff-hanger ending. That is until I checked how far through the story I had read. The first time I was only halfway so I read on and on. The second is near the end and the third as always is at the very end.
Bring on book 4.
Friday and Saturday were a blur in another reality that is Nellie’s world with Celine, Gray, Alexander, Damien, Michael and of course Marcus.
I don’t want to give the story away so I will just say that if you’ve read books 1 and 2 then this is a must.
If you have not read any of this series then why not? Nellie Steele writes in an easy to read style that pulls her reader along.
Give yourself a treat and lose yourself in Nellie Steele’s world of Shadow Slayers. You won’t regret it.

This is Book #3 of the Shadow Slayers Series. It’s chock full of action, intrigue, and the unexpected in paranormal. The book is great! I bought the audiobook and am very glad I did. Graham Mack did a marvelous job with his narrating. His vocal parents are truly a gift! I like that Nellie, the author, developed her characters so they have depth and personality as this makes a big difference when reading or listening to the story. This may have been my favorite so far, it seemed to cover so much ground! Definitely a cliff hanger. 😊 I will say that I’m not a fan of the cover though. Now that I’ve read it the book, I think I understand what it’s representing, and no offense intended, but it just didn’t garner my interest.

Crazy world!

Time travel and an alternate universe? Mind boggling! I was on edge through the whole book, waiting to see what was going to happen. It was so good!

This installment of the Shadow Slayers series has our protagonist, Celine, imprisoned in an enchanted cell seemingly impossible to escape from and having no way to contact the outside world for help. Celine's nemesis, Duke Marcus Northcott, has captured Celine in an effort to force her into conceding his dominance and forcing her to submit to his evil enterprises. As impossible as it might seem, Celine must cultivate a strategy to combat Duke Northcott, seek help from her family and friends, and escape the dreaded isolation which imprisons her. Celine's story has numerous twists and turns with outcomes unforeseen by drastic physical conflicts and emotions running the gambit from tragedy to love, providing the reader with a sense of how much one is willing to sacrifice for the people they love. I enjoyed reading this story and found it had so much to offer the reader, not only in a well-written tale but of how human nature, or the resulting actions of individuals, can have a ripple effect on others.

I just love these characters. Gray is such a good husband who puts up with Celine's adventures. He loves her so much. Damian is an extraordinary friend who also loves Celine. Start reading book number in the Shadow Slayer series.

This is the 3rd book in the series where Celine goes missing of course Marcus has abducted her while Damien communicates with her and her family rescues her something happens and Damien and Michael go into another parallel dimension and things are not as they should be in 1812..There physical bodies remain comatose in present time.
Celene and Doctor Millie can't help them so she has to go to Marcus for help.I highly recommend this book.
