The author provides a Logical and straight forward Framework for creating a supply chain strategy. Having said that, after the initial chapters, many of the explanations in the book get stuck in very basic concepts, that seem to be commonly known in todays Business world. Yes, common sense is not that common, but for example several pages of explanations why it is a good idea to involve your Controller when Building a Business case seem a bit trival.
