Dominique Mondesir has always wanted to be a writer since the age of sixteen. He could remember reading the hobbit and Harry Potter late at night and thinking, I could do that. More than ten years later and he has. His first book Origins (Fallen Angels) was published September 2015, with three more so far released. He lives in England with his girlfriend and cat and hopes to travel the world before he gets to old.
In Jason's mind, there was never a question about it. Aliens existed. The question was how to prove it?
Spending years in the military and diligently working his way up through the ranks led him to his dream job where she just might find the solid truth, once and for all, as part of an elite team of security at Area 51. His first day on the job was not what he was expecting - not at all. It nearly turned out to be his last.
Suddenly his life involves a 1000-year-old war for aliens who desperately want what he has - his AI controlled ship.
This is not a spoiler as this is very, very early in the book. The adventure has just begun.
Rating this was a struggle as it oscillated between 3 and 4 constantly, frequently dropping as low as 2 for a really stupid plot twist, occasionally jumping to a 4.5 or higher for a noble point. In the end, it settles out at 3, in part for the hanging ending and lack of any resolution plus the recurring stupid plot twists. Character and storyline development are minimal, and yet the story has some entertainment value. Could it be better? Yes, positively and perhaps we”ll find better in the next installment.
What a humdinger of a book! Five stars all day long! Jason is ex soldier/special forces soldier and always dreamt of finding out the truth about ufo’s! He starts working in Area 51 and the story begins, funny, action packed with great characters! Highly recommended.
I'm amazed that this author can write so many fantastic novels, I hope that he never stops writing. His books are some of the best Entertainment I have read and worth the time to read them. Thank you for a very fun entertaining read.
I didn’t really understand the point of this one. Once he’s on the ship he seems to accomplish nothing but making new enemies. He’s practically leading a parade of them by the end.
