Rate this book

Book Six in the Ink and Kink series.

Samantha has been dodging her attraction to Taran since they met. But when she turns to him for help, the kinky fantasies she’s had about him can no longer be denied.

Master Taran is floored when Samantha comes to him of her own volition. Sensing his chance to end the cat-and-mouse game they’ve been playing for months, he tests her, convincing her to join him on a dark, sensual journey into bondage and sex. But to collar his switch, he must be willing to submit, something he’s never done for a lover.

As their relationship heats up, Samantha’s heartbreaking past returns, threatening their chance at happiness. To save her, Taran will need to be more than her Master. He’ll need to become her soft place to fall while giving her wings to fly.

Inside Sam’s BDSM awakening includes watching a scorching male/male encounter.

My love for storytelling began when I created my first fictional characters in kindergarten, convincing my family and friends that Red Henry and Green Henry were identical twin brothers in my school. They were mischievous, rarely did their homework, and even had girlfriends! Years later, I started to write, completing my first manuscript in middle school. I confess the heroine was a cross between a contemporary Laura Ingalls Wilder and Nancy Drew, who’d been dating one of the Hardy Boys, but when I wrote “the end” I’d known I had more stories to tell. Of course, life intervened, but whether I was in high school, working as a Veterinary Technician, earning a degree in history and secondary education, or teaching, I was always writing and reading romances.

Finally, I met and married my hero and moved to New England. Shortly after, I joined RWA and the New England Chapter and have been writing faithfully ever since. Now I am proud to be an author with Ellora’s Cave Publishing. I invite you to come and meet the Panthera, explore my website, read the reviews, excerpts and more at www.francesstockton.com. Or email me at romance@francesstockton.com. I love to hear from readers!

Samantha is Tarans brother’s partner and has had feelings for Taran for months. She just does not see herself as a sub. Samantha is good match for Taran. Samantha’s biggest issue is her past. It comes back to haunt her and she has to face it with Taran’s help.

Taran is a hot and sexy man who has been in love with Samantha since he first saw her. Taran has waited for Samantha. To be able to keep her Taran also has to submit to her. It’s apparent that Samantha is the only woman that Taran would even consider it for.

The chemistry between Taran and Samantha is blistering. The sex scenes were hot and steamy. Taran even in Dom mode is so sweet to Samantha. He can see what will upset her and proceeds with caution as to not upset her too much as she adjusts to their relationship.

Switch Master is the sixth book in the Ink and Kink series by Frances Stockton. It can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel. This story is well written with realistic and interesting main and secondary characters. I had a hard time putting this book down. In fact, I read this book in one sitting. Overall, this is a magnificent book and I cannot wait for the next in the series.
